Rader's Carpet Service

He only did half of the floors, I paid him $600 dollar deposit and then he was going to come in and finish the other half. The first half that he put down, he did a horrible job on. He basically told me that my floors were not level after the job was completed. He should have told me this from the beginning that the floors needed to be leveled. I hired another company to come in and fix his work and they were able to determine that he used the wrong trowel which caused the floors to bow. The companies that I wanted to originally use were a month out on scheduling. I hired this individual because he had a better schedule. Larry was also supposed to match the other quotes that I received, which he did not. I basically had to have pulled up and put back down the right way. Please beware of this individual, I was lucky that I only gave him $600 dollars considering he wanted half up front. Most reputable companies should not ask for half up from. Stay away from this individual.

They were on time, courteous, efficient.

Provider took up previous floor covering and disposed of it. He, disconnected and installed water heater, moved appliances and toilet to get access to the floors. The pattern on the ceramic tile was laid very well. I am very pleased with the outcome.

They did an excellent job and everything went very well. They were very prompt and made sure they were on time for the appointment. They are extremely polite and pleasant to work throughout the entire process. Also, after they were finished they did a great job of cleaning up after themselves.

Larry and Canine showed up at a last minute request. Stretched carpet in hallway, bedroom, and closet. Very friendly and professional. Would definitely rehire for any carpet issues.

I called in the morning and by 2 pm someone was here to give me an estimate and do the work. I couldn't have asked for better service. I was very satisfied with the job he did.

They did an ok job. There are some parts of the carpet where it is bubbling up again and I'm not sure if it is the job that was done or the carpet that's old. They were very nice, they showed up on time and were very easy to work with.

The carpet in my home had several areas where it had rolled. I plan to sell my home so I did not want to spend a lot of money to replace the carpet. Larry showed up and within a couple of hour corrected ALL of the areas throughout my home! I would recommend Rader Carpet and I certainly would use again!

Overall the service was very very good. The cost was very fair.

We had a very small section of carpet in our living room that our dog had torn up a couple of years ago as a puppy. We had it repaired back then, but it never looked right. Larry came out the same day I called, and did a far better repair.

He was prompt, efficient and professional. Only knock I have is the minimum charge, which I had to pay. Not the provider's issue, it just was a very small job. I would use him again.

We were very impressed with Larry and the level of service he provided. He not only installed some very nice carpet, but he was also willing to drive to a local retailer with me to evaluate some remnants I was considering having installed, directed me to some nicer carpet, and was willing to move our old carpeting to two rooms in our basement and re-install it there. He and his crew showed up on time every time, got the job done in a timely manner, damaged nothing, and left a minimal clean-up for us (just a little vacuuming).

They’re affordable and quick. They did a pretty good job overall. I will use them again in the future if I need to.

Mr. Rader was able to come out to my house at my convenience and bring samples of carpet to me for our viewing pleasure. He went into detail on each carpet, it's price, it's quality. He was able to give me great feedback on each sample, as to how it would apply in my house concerning traffic, dogs, kids and all that fun stuff! I was pretty indecisive between the 2 finalists, and he was extremely patient with me while I made my mind up! After finally selecting a carpet, he was able to get into the house within a week after he had ordered it and the install went really well! It's been 9 month since the install and there have been no issues at all! Thank you Rader Carpet!

I have hired him three times now. Once was for ceramic tile work in November and I hired him again last month for additional tile work. I previously hired him for carpet work as well. He is excellent and is reasonably priced! I will hired him again in the future. He is very good. I had a squeeky floor and he was able to fix that for me. The work is great!

Larry had done some carpet stretching for us before; so when we were looking to replace the carpeting on the main floor and second floor of our home (about 2100 sq ft of carpeted areas), we gave him a call. Overall, we were very happy with the installation and everything went well, including moving the furniture as they went from room to room. Initially I was concerned because Larry himself was ill and was not going to be helping with the install. But his crew arrived and they hustled for two full days. We had one small problem with a seam being visible in one spot and he was out the next day to re-seam it. We were very happy overall with the work.

Larry came out to show me some samples and give me a quote. The quote beat my other quotes so I decided to go with him. He came out one more time to make sure the carpet color I chose the first time was still the one I wanted. We ordered it and when it was finally time for it to be installed, he was very timely and got the job done for us! He was very professional, had good prices and communicated very well. I would certainly use him again!

There were ripples in our carpet. Larry and his associate pulled up the carpet and found that the pad was faulty. He repaired the pad, then replaced and stretched the carpet. Looks great!

Found Larry on Angie's List gave him a call he came out that day and stretched the carpets in my house. Did great job, will use him again in the future.

We obtained the phone number for Rader's Carpet Service from a search of carpet repair companies on Angie's List. During the initial contact , an estimate was given for replacing the section of carpet and a scheduled time for doing the repair was made. Larry called the morning that he was to be here and asked if it was okay to come later than originally planned which was fine. When he arrived he went right to work inspecting the area to be repaired. He cut out the discolored area, cut a section of the remnant we had and seamed the new piece into place. The repaired area is perfect. The seams are not noticeable. It looks GREAT. He worked quickly and thoroughly.

Mr Rader was very quick to get the work done. Again, the area to be restretched was about 14x12. No furniture was in the way, the room was totally ready for him to come in and stretch the carpet. He did a nice seam in the doorway to kitchen tile...did not use a metal strip. But the price was totally, totally outrageous! Again, the room was totally ready, he didn't have to move anything. He replaced no pad, nor did he provide any other supplies. It was just a simple restretch of existing carpet. He was done in less than 30 minutes max. I totally regret paying him the $150 charge. I was just stunned and overwhelmed by the cost. Totally over charged.
