 + -1 moreOverall this was an exceptional experience. The installers, Kenny & Theo, were prompt and professional. They answered all of our questions and took care and time to fully explain the service and system to us. They made sure we were satisfied with the work before they left and took care not to leave any debris or packaging waste from the installation. The company representatives sent to our home were polite, prompt, and professional. Additionally, the price point on the service was fair and well within, if not below, the market average for existing services from area competitors. We were thankful we were able to use a Big Deal advertisement from Angie's List, but even more thankful that we were able to get our home and family secured with quality services at an agreeable price. We would, and will, recommend this company to our friends, family, and coworkers.
Description of Work: We had alarms placed on all doors entering the home. They installed Glass Break Detectors downstairs to cover all existing windows and the glass patio door. We had an alarm pad installed in place of the previous one on the home and they gave us a mobile touch pad which could activate and monitor the system anywhere in the home. They also setup the monitoring service on our Smart Phones and PCs and gave us a key attachment that could activate or deactivate the alarm. The representatives also took time to discuss future options available to us as our security needs changed with the growth of our family.

Description of Work: 24 hour home protection gave us the absolute lowest price on install of a new home protection system. No one else could beat it! We had new service installed and signed up for a three year commitment.

Description of Work: Theo came right out and gave us a quote the day after I contacted him. We have lived in our home for almost 20 years and never even thought about a home security system because our neighborhood never had any difficulty with crime. Then suddenly, the far NE side of Indianapolis was on the local news at least once a week because of a rash of home invasions and burglaries in the area. This started becoming a real concern and I called 24 Hour Home Protection and spoke to Theo. Theo came out the very next day, gave us a quote. We called the next day to set up installation. He tried really hard to get here the same day and could not due to the overwhelming number of installations every security company in town was trying to address due to this problem. Theo finally came out himself the following day, on a Saturday afternoon, and installed the entire system for us. He knew we were planning to be away from our home that evening and he got it done in a timely manner. Not only that, but the total cost ended up being less than his original quote! Unfortunately, a week later, we were painting the walls in one of the rooms with a sensor. My husband removed the sensor, but when he tried putting it back up, we ran into an issue. This was on a Saturday. After numerous phone calls with the customer service people, I called Theo and left him a message. He called us back the very next day, a SUNDAY, and insisted on coming over to check out the issue! He figured it out in no time flat and never charged us a dime for that visit! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Theo and his level of commitment to us as customers. I would recommend him any time ANY of my friends or family needs home security protection. You just can't buy this kind of caring these days. Thank you, Theo:)

Because it was within 90 days they did charge me for the equipment just had to pay the extra for the monitoring. I now can watch my house from my phone and feel even safer that everything is ok.

 + -1 moreTwo Bob's and a Theo came to my home to install the system. The two Bob's were the installers and the Theo was a consultant. Theo did an excellent job of explaining the options available to me and exactly what I would be getting. He was thorough and seemed genuinely interested in how to best protect my family and I appreciate that very much. One of the Bob's took extra care to install the system where it would be most pleasing to the eye. He even mounted the wires from the keypad to the power source in my laundry room around the door to give it a clean look. He took the time to walk me through the arming/disarming process and made sure I knew how it worked before he left. The other Bob was also a DISH rep and noticed we had an unused satellite dish in our yard and offered to remove it for us because we have digital cable now. Overall a very pleasing experience and I will recommend both Bob's and the Theo in the future!
