So far so good. They were pretty hands on and explained everything. That was pretty nice. I would use them again in the future.

Mike was very helpful, friendly and prompt. He explained everything well and gave me advice on where to place and what type of monitors I would need throughout the house. He even recommended a combination of monitors to meet some 'special' requests I had. I really enjoyed dealing with him and would highly recommend this company.

The install went well. Techs arrived promptly, installed the system and gave me a brief overview of how to work the system.

On September 21, 2013, I purchased ProTecht Home Security's $69 Big Deal for a home I was in the process of buying. Unfoutunately, during the inspection, asbestos was found in the ventilation system and I cancelled. I contacted ProTecht to inform them of my situation. They responded by telling me not worry and to contact them when I found another home. Athough it took until May 23, 2014 to close on the new home. ProTecht still honored my 2013 purchase. One of the best companies that I have ever worked with. 100% satisfied with the service and the installed system.

Very good experience. Both Kenny and Theo were on time and professional. They were good at explaining the various options. It was great to not receive the high pressure sales pitch that you get from security companies. They thoroughly explained how to use the system. Installation was prompt and efficient. I have no complaints at all.

This service was purchased through a Big Deal on a weekend. The next day, the company called me to schedule the installation. They were able to schedule it the very next day. The next day, they called me an hour in advance to let me know they would be there at 2pm, our scheduled appointment time. They were on time and very polite. Installation did not take very long and they were very through on teaching me how to use the new system. I was very impressed with their professionalism and overall experience with the transaction.

We were VERY happy with choosing ProTecht Home Security. We did a ton of research and found ProTecht to be the most responsive and affordable. We were extremely happy with Theo who came out to do the estimate and install the same day. He spent a good amount of time training us on the system after installing.

Theo was great! He was very informative and patient with our questioning. He won't know the password you choose. So it is very safe! I feel so great about the service I received.

The installation was easy and quick. We reviewed the locations for each sensor and they installed everything and were completed within 2 hours.

They did a great job and I am very satisfied. I liked that they worked around my time schedule and were available on a Saturday. It was also the owner himself who came out, so he was familiar with the system and was helpful in getting everything set up. It was also the best price we found.

Satisfied with service and install however problems with the heating and cooling being controlled through the alarm have not worked great. Enjoy using the Alarm.com app from my mobile phone to arm/disarm system and receive notifications when the system is armed or disarmed.

The gentlemen were punctual and professional for the installation. We had an issue with a sensor range malfunction, and as soon as we made them aware of the issue they came out very quickly to install a booster. The system is extremely easy to use and I love the App that works with their system so that I can set it from anywhere if I forget as I am leaving the house

The service turned out very well. The system seems to work just fine. The technician is very responsive. If I have a question he gets back to me very quickly. He had great ideas on where to install the control center. He was very easy to get along with.

They were prompt, thorough, and informative.

Theo promised that we would be happy with this system and he was absolutely correct. They arrived on time and provided a flawless installation.They even took the time to adjust the alarms to accommodate the dog. I like that it’s a local business. Kenny’s mannerism was so professional and so kind. I was very impressed. He was able to work with me on pricing. They installed the system within an hour. It is so simple to use. I highly recommend him. I give him an A+!

They did an excellent job. Quick to respond and worked around my schedule. Did not rush and made sure I was happy with the decisions. I had them come back several months later because I wanted to move one of the motion detectors and again they were quickly and again worked around my schedule. Went through things with me again. Very happy with them.

I bought the Angies list Big Deal. Theo was awesome - he came in and assessed what I needed. Told me what to tell the previous alarm company when I canceled. Gave a thorough explaination of the equipment and even tested the motion sensor so the dog would not set it off. Very happy with service and equipment and highly recommend them

Terrible. Deceptive. Underhanded. Bartering. I bought a "Big Deal"---$29 for a complete touch pad alarm with installation. Not so much. Kenny (the installer) came to my house, late, all the way from Indianapolis, where this company is located (I had no idea) and proceeded to tell me that I had way more that the 10 "points" for the install... I had 16. Every "point" is $50 and so my (complete install for $29) installation would now be $450 plus $49.99 monthly monitoring. I was stunned. After a short discussion, and me telling him that other companies had been out and given me much lower quotes, he made a phone call to his business partner. Now, all of a sudden, his exorbitant quote was now $175 for the install and $39.99 monthly maintenance and they can install it now. Then he proceeded to tell me that he hoped I wasn't going to go with ADT because of *blah, blah, blah,* all these bad things he said about ADT. When I still said no, he made yet another call and now my install was going to be $85 plus the $39/month to monitor. Now, mind you, this would have been less than the other companies to install it. However, I was THAT UNCOMFORTABLE with this guy AND ESPECIALLY his 'business partner" that I said no. I went with ADT. Now, after he left, within an hour, his 'business partner called. He told me that Kenny was still in town and could come over and install the system right now. That he came all the way from Indy and was prepared to do just that. That $85 was a great deal and I should do it. When I told him no he said that if I wanted a refund I would have to call and get it myself. I said fine. The WORST part... The later that day a woman called. She asked about me not getting the system. I'd had enough. Then she really crossed the line. She asked if Kenny, the installer was professional. I said yes. She asked if he upset me. I said no but that I thought their tactics were horrible and very misleading. I told them that if they offer installs for $29, that's what they should be. And if they can do them for $85 they shouldn't try to charge $450. Then she also said that Kenny could come back over and install it. When I said no, she asked if I felt safe. I said "what did you say?" She repeated, "I don't think you're safe. I think you need an alarm. " I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend this company to ANYONE! louisviGood luck, and stay safe!
