Prosand Flooring

The wood floor was above average. I was not impressed with the trim work. I had to contact the company to come back to finish the installation of trimwork in the kitchen. They did return, but that was after a couple phone calls. The main issue is that they listed they didn't hire subcontractors. However, for the tile work, I'm fairly certain that they hired a subcontractor. We attempted to tile one of the bathrooms once, but stopped him midway. We knew it was something we didn't want him to finish. The grades are based off the entire experience of tile and wood work.

The estimate was accurate. The crew was timely and professional.

We have white oak in our home, the wood did not match. The super intendant agreed that the wood was wrong. They then installed white select oak. It should have been common white oak. The floor was done wrong again. The wood did not take the stain right. I brought it to their attention that it should have been the common white oak. I had another company look at the floor, which is how I found out it should be the common white oak. They bought the common white oak and did a sample with stain to show it would match and it was a dead spot on match. Since they tore up our floor and did the work done wrong twice, we went with the other company. I didn’t want to pay more money to have them fix it again. Carl, the owner, was very condescending and made it seem as if this wasn’t his fault. He was going to keep my $1800 deposit and was sorry he couldn’t help us out but was ready to move on. I had letters, phone calls, and more asking for my refund. He eventually told me that I would have my refund the following week. I did get a check, but for only $667.00 instead of the $1800.00. When I asked about why it was only 1/3 of what I had requested he told me it was what I deserved. My credit card company was able to switch the charges and he did not protest the refund. The experience was horrific. The customer service was very poor. I would not recommend them.

It was a horrible experience. He did not follow up. He was rude to deal with. The job wasn't bad and the workers weren't bad. The owner was not pleasant to deal with. I would not use him again because of it.

They did excellent work. They got in and out very quickly. They were consistent. There were no hassles. They did what they said they were going to do. Their price was competitive.

They did an outstanding job and recommended a finish that brought out the beauty of the original inlaid floors. I was pregnant at the time and was concerned about the fumes and dust. The system they use is almost 100% dust free. The job was completed in 2 days total and we are very pleased with the work.

They did a very nice job in all rooms and closets. The epoxy finish (Glitza) is very durable from what I was told and can tell so far, however the fumes from the epoxy were very intense and it took about five to six days for the fumes to significantly diminish.

The best recommendation I can give is to say that we have recommende Pro Sand several of our friends and they have also been pleased with his work.

Everything went wonderfully. They were extremely professional, everything they said they would do they did, and they were very prompt and courteous. The finished product looks nice.

We live in a ranch style home with all hardwood floors and wanted to get them refinished. We called to get an estimate and they arrived on time and let us know that the service we wanted wasn't necessary because our floors were in better condition than we thought and offered us a "screen and recoat" service which would cost us less. I immediately appreciated their honesty with us. The crew arrived when they said that they would and when the job was completed the floors looked amazing. And their warranty is also fantastic. We recently had a couple of areas in our home that needed to be retouched. We called the office, and they came to look at the areas, and within a week there was a staff member out at our house to touch up the areas. I would highly recommend them for all of your flooring needs.

It went very well. They came in and went right to work.They got the job done in 3 days when other flooring companies needed a 5 to 7 days. And our floors look great.

We had never seen the floor under our living room carpet, in the 25 years we have lived in this house. The workmen removed the carpet, the pad, and revealed an oak floor in very good shape. They sanded and sealed the floor, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. ProSand's system that includes bagging the dust instead of releasing it into the air is wonderful. Since we had just painted the rooms, we were especially thankful for the lack of dust.

Took 2 calls to get a response from the company. Scheduled an appointment for the estimate but the estimator showed up a half hour late for no apparent reason other than he had a different time on his schedule than I did. This explanation was a little hard to accept since he is the one I talked to when scheduling the appointment. Their price was very competitive, but I was concerned about punctuality so chose another contractor.

Came right out and was very polite, professional and efficient. The estimate price was comparable with others. Follow-up was done well and we are considering them for the job. We were happy overall with this experience so far.

To start, the salesman was a no call no show for the estimate and I had to call to reschedule. The estimate was fair and the sold a good product. My floors are unbelievable and I couldn't be happier for how they turned out. However, the day of the job, I was called by the project manager stating that the estimate giving was only for 4 rooms opposed to the 5 rooms that were in my house. How he missed a room in my house when I showed him ever room is still a mystery to me. So the president called me and told me it was a mistake and he would have to charge me FULL price for the room he missed. I said your crazy and almost pulled the job but he split the price for me and I agreed. Despite, my floors are beautiful and I am happy.

He was not reliable. He came out and said he would email us the estimate and we did not receive the email within a week and so we went with someone else.

From initial contact, all personnel were responsive. The flooring went in smoothly and looks very nice.

They did a good job. They are very good with scheduling and were able to get it done in the time frame we wanted. They were punctual and got the job done in one day like they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves and contained the dust from sanding the floors. They were very good in warning us of the odor of the varnish and chemicals of refinishing. We chose to stay in the house, but someone else may not want to do that. They did as they advertised. The floors are nice, look very good and have held up so far. They also come with a 5-year warranty so I feel comfortable that if something happened they would come back and make it right.

I said no, we did not need that to be done. He said he was going to give us an estimate for all these jobs even though we did not ask for that. He was almost bullying and would not take no for an answer. He then asked about out countertops, they don't even do countertops. I said we had someone else coming to look at them later this week. He took a couple a measurements, but did not measure the entrance or dining room which he insisted on giving an estimate for. He was more interested in the projects we have told him no about and was borderline insulting.
