Excellent Job! Installed new hardwood floors and they are beautiful! Carl was great to work with and Prosand beat the competition. We are very happy with the results!

I was very pleased with the work that was received, the workers were very professional and did a wonderful job my floors are absolutely gorgeous my friends come over and that's the first thing they notice I would recommend them to anyone! I will be calling on them again in the near future for refinishing hardwood floors in bedrooms

I got to tell you this is some of the worse work I have seen. Hired out sub-contractors do a very lousy job. Mostly ruined the floors. Owner makes it clear he has NO desire to discuss anything after sale and payment. The "used car salesman of the flooring industry." Dustless system is on par with "quality work"

The work was terrible, I have to sue them for the work.

I was given a quote of $3,294.00. I thought the price was fair and called to schedule the work. I talked to Carl. My concern was the down payment. The quote said they wanted $2,470 down. I thought it was written wrong. I told Carl I thought 10 -20% was more reasonable. He told me everyone expects that kind of down payment. 80%!! When I said no, His indignant response was "Well then I'll just take you off the schedule. I went to Sean Schuck Hardwood and put a $660 deposit on a $3300 job and he did an amazing job. No way would I recommend him. I would steer people away from him and the company.

Had one of their vans almost cause a wreck this morning. After trying to cut me off in traffic the employee flipped me off. I called there shop and the gentleman that picked up the phone tried yelling at me for calling it in. Extremely unprofessional and would suggest anyone to use a different flooring company.

Carl is very arrogant and rude, and is a thief. He conned my husband into paying an extra $200 for 20 minutes of repairs to the floors that was their fault and they had originally agreed to repair, but never came to do them while under warranty. How convenient. They also slopped stain all over my floor trim and I had to spend hours repainting all of those, but didn't charge them my labor fee! Do NOT do business with this company! My floors also look terrible with all these black swirl marks from the stain getting into the sanding scratches. That can't be how professionals work.

They came when they were supposed to. The two guys were very informative and pleasant. They kept me posted as the job progressed. They sanded two times, stained, and finish coated twice. I did cover everything with sheets but there was very little dust. I chose the stain after they cleaned a space and applied the stain to show me what it would look like. Then they sanded the two colors off and finished it. They did the dinning room, hall way, closet, entry way. My floors are beautiful. I've been bringing in my friends to see the results. I will definitely have ProSand back when I need another room refinished. The owner Carl came to my house measured and told me all about the procedure and gave me the quote in writing. It was all very professional. And he was not "pushy" nor did he insist on doing more than I wanted done.

When I called to schedule they had a cancellation and I grabbed it so the work would be finished before my husband returned from travel--I wanted to surprise him! The workers showed up, were very helpful and respectful and did a great job. However, they accidentally spilled stain on our 1 year old concrete driveway--right in the middle. They scrubbed as best they could but the stain was still obvious. I spoke with Carl, the owner, and he said they would take care of it. As the work finished I asked about the 3 ft diameter stain in the middle of my white concrete (1 year old) driveway and I was told that they would come back on Saturday morning--the next day--to do additional work. Since my husband would not return till Sunday I told the owner that I would like to make payment after the work on Saturday was completed if it appeared satisfactory or wait till my husband could evaluate it on Sunday. The owner called and chewed me out, screamed on the phone at me about how he "can't make payroll if I don't pay for the prior 2 day services right now" and I need to "TRUST" him--as he was screaming at me--he bullied me to tears so I agreed to pay. Once I said I'd pay, he very SWEETLY said, "will that be visa or master card maam?" Sickening how he purposefully bullied me then acted like an angel. I have 3 other rooms that need refinished but I will not call a company owner that bullies women and is unprofessional and doesn't make their mistakes right. I didn't hire them to give me a big brown stain in the middle of my driveway or to scream at me on the phone and intimidate me to tears. The work by his employees was very good and I would work with them again, unfortunately, the owner ruined it for all of us.

Carl Padrone the owner came to our new home and gave an estimate for carpeting, hardwood floor refinishing and epoxy application to the 4 car garage of our 6900 sq ft home. He took a good look at the home, and the new Porsche 911 parked out front and asked for $30,000 even. Need I say more? (We ended up spending $7000 for the carpet, $1000 for the hardwood refininshing and $1100 for the epoxy). If I can't trust him to give me an honest estimate can I trust him to do honest work?

They were excellent. They were very responsive and showed up on time. They were very reasonable in price. They got the job done quickly. They covered everything and took very good care of everything. They were very respectful of our property. I would highly recommend them.

They had to do the hardwoods twice because they made too many marks and the floors were not even. This was a hardship and I wished I had asked for them to pay for a hotel the second time. The second time was a little bit better but far from perfect. Still uneven marks on the floors as well as bubbles. They also put on the wrong finish, a matte instead of semi-gloss. My phone calls went unanswered.They ordered the wrong color for the carpet, I ageed to keep it for 1500. off the price. The pattern of the carpet was not uniform from one room to the next. The installer said we needed to ask for that ahead of time! Not very professional..they were just trying to save money at our expense.One tile person was very messy, leaving black grout everywhere and his installaltion was uneven. The result was not professional.The removal of the mantle left uneven marks in the drywall and the large tile used for the hearth has lots of flaws. In our opinion the owner does not hire the best people and he rushes them through a job. This is not what we were promised and we cannot recommend this company. Update: I am sorry Pro Sand does not remember the facts: The 1500. deducted was because they ordered the wrong color of carpet. I agreed to keep the carpet for the deduction. It would have cost more, in time and money, to reorder the right color. Also, I saw that he didn't right it down when I ordered and I reminded him as he left, because the color names Scone and Crumpet, are easy to confuse. I called 3 times before I got a response regarding the correction of the pantry floor. This was agreed to as they were being paid. We did not with hold back any money because of that. We trusted them to come back. When the pantry area dried, we saw that the area had a different sheen. I checked my paperwork, it said we were to have semi-gloss on all our floors and that was why the Pro Sand worker put semi-gloss on the pantry area, he was following the original work order. It is not our fault that the other guys put on what I later saw was matte on the rest of the areas. And it was a pro sand employee who suggested the semi-gloss because is easier to correct if scratched. This was my first experience refinishing floors and I thought I was going with a pro who would follow through. The phone calls regarding this matter were NOT returned. Many mistakes were made on this job and it took longer than most. Throughout it all, we were never mean or rude and many times we had reason to be, especially since none of the mistakes had been our fault. The reason they redid the floors the second time is because of their own mistakes. I really understand that they did not want to come back and do the floors a third time. I am not being vindictive, and do not expect any refunds. All this could have been avoided if only my phone calls regarding the wrong finish had been returned. I made this complaint because it is the right thing to do and hopefully no one else will have to experience what we did. As far as we are concerned this unhappy, expensive ordeal is over, even with all the untruthful things that were said in the Pro Sand response.

The quality of the brazilian cherry was amazing! The carpenter who did the work was so accomplished in woodworking. He did an excellent job and was very pleasant to have in our house for a week! The stairs are a conversation piece, they are so pretty. Thanks you!!

It was a wonderful experience, from start to finish. There was no dust, there were no problems. The floor was in fabulous shape. I could not be more delighted. They were fast, the price was reasonable, and the end product was wonderful.

Carl the owner came out to estimate the cost of refinishing the existing hardwood floors in the master bedroom, closet, and stairs in the second level of my home. I had some concerns that I pointed out as areas of trouble which included gouges in numerous places around the room that had been made by a floor scraper when the carpet installers had last been out to the house. He reassured me that they could take care of those and that the floors would look brand new when they were finished. I initially wasn't interested in having the walk-in closet floors refinished (it was carpeted at the time) because they were in particularly bad shape. Carl had me pull the carpet up so he could see the hardwood underneath. After seeing how the tung and groove didn't meet up, leaving gaps between the floor boards of as much as an 1/8 of an inch, he assured me that these floors would look great too after they were finished. I also had yet to install the baseboards and molding around the room. He told me to go ahead and have all the work done before they refinished the floors. Carl assured me that they tape everything off and there wouldn't be any trouble with them damaging the new woodwork and trim. My wife remained at home to oversee the work that ProSand was doing and when the crew arrived, they were very off-putting. During the first day they were there, they damaged they drywall and when my wife asked them about it, they initially denied doing it. Only upon asking them twice to fix it, did they do anything about it. They also installed a couple new steps on our staircase. On of the steps they installed had a large knot located right on the edge that popped out leaving a whole facing outwards. Not only did that look terrible, it could actually catch on your feet as you walked up the stairs. I had to also convince them to do something about this as well ( which the end result was a terrible patch job with wood filler). Once the entire job was finished and went upstairs to see the work, I was extremely upset. They crew got stain all over the newly installed WHITE baseboards and trim work. They hadn't taped anything off in the entire home, forcing me to have to paint everything.The crew also failed to fill any of the gouges in the floor that I specifically asked be taken care of. When I went into the closet, I found that all of the gaps between the floor boards remained. When I called Carl and told him about all of this, he basically told me that it was my fault for not being at the house myself to make sure that his crew did the job right. He later came out to my house in person to check the work. He basically told me everything was fine and I could tell that he had never any intention of fixing any of the issues I had with the work. He told me that my floors weren't very nice to begin with and he basically talked down to me the entire time. He was incredibly rude, and condescending towards me. At the end of our interaction, I told him how his crew was unpleasant to my wife, lied, and had the appearance of a biker gang. At hearing that, he abruptly left my house yelling, "Here's your ten year warranty" and slammed my front door while leaving. This was the absolute WORST customer experience I have EVER had in my entire life. I would suggest finding a smaller local company to any sort of refinishing work in your home or business. A local craftsman would take the time to do the work the right way unlike ProSand.

The work was done quickly and the finish on the replaced board perfectly matches the original boards.

Carl and his crew were prompt, professional, and did excellent work. Carl was very knowledgeable, and gave us a quote almost immediately. The house was dust free, and he and his crew did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves. We were very happy and would use them again. Their price was competitive with the other bids.

They were very professional but the guy that came was abrupt. They seemed to know what they are doing. The price was to much for what I wanted to pay.

It went great and they did a good job.

After agreeing to install hardwood material that I supplied, my general contractor refused to follow through on his commitment. He cited warranty and coordination issues and refused to even have the material evaluated after I had taken the steps to deliver the material to the site. After a quick Google search, I reach Carl Padron, the owner of Prosand flooring. I described the material and the impasse that I had reached with my general contractor, and Carl agreed to meet me on site to make the threshold determination of whether the material was usable. Carl was prompt, courteous, and professional. He evaluated the material and advised us that the material was worth using. He clearly described the process and engaged my general contractor in a discussion regarding the risk and benefit of using my material. After some persuasion on both Carl's and my part, my general contractor agreed to engage Prosand. Warranty and coordination issues were clearly addressed, and Prosand completed the flooring project. The installation and finishing crews were timely and accommodating. I was given the opportunity to review several sample areas before choosing a stain color, and the end product is exactly what I wanted. This is especially satisfying considering that I was not exactly sure what color would look best with our paint colors, cabinets, furniture, etc. I am extremely happy with end product, but what I am most pleased with is that Carl enabled me to push through the impasse that I had reached with my general contractor. He was objective and reasonable, and all parties worked through the process with eyes wide open. While many flooring companies may be able to produce a quality finished product, Carl and Prosand bring a level of professionalism that enabled me to achieve the result I wanted.

The owner (sorry forgot his name) showed up on time, measured the house and went over his bid with me. He was very thorough told me exactly what was expected of me (move furniture) what the sanding process entailed and the final finish they apply. I didn't proceed because there was so much else to do here and refinishing the floor would probably be one of the last things I do. I still intend to update the bid from him, and take others, when it's time.

The owner was able to give me a quote in a short amount of time. Dusty and another employee did the work. They did an excellent job. I had an armoire that was difficult to move or work around and they came up with a solution for temporarily putting it on the brick hearth of the fireplace. This required them to have to come back at a later day to finish up the trim around the fireplace where the armoire had been. They did this at no extra charge. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves and the job seemed truly dust free. I would definitely use them again.

The initial installation went well, but they re-installed a toilet incorrectly, but after a little prodding, they sent someone out to fix it and everything has gone well since then.

Carl had come out previously and given me an estimate to refinish and seal my painted hardwood floors in my living room, dining room, and hallway. I received a few estimates and selected ProSand because the estimate indicated the job could be done in 1 day and Carl was very professional each time I spoke with him. They arrived on time the first day. As soon as they entered my home, one of the employees told me that it was not going to be a one day job. He stated he knew from his prior experience that it would take longer than that. I was frustrated with this news, simply because I was not prepared to be out of my home and hadn't made any arrangements. But, I was willing to deal with the work taking longer- as long as it was done right. The two employees on the first day were professional, and easy to work with. On the second day, a different employee came out. He was rude and seemed irriated to be at my house. When he arrived, I asked him when I would be able to walk on the floors that day - and his response was, "not till tomorrow atleast". So now my 1 day job as suddenly became a 3 day job. I explained to him that was not acceptable. I was willing to go one day over, but 2 days was not going to work. He told me very abruptly, "Well, call Carl (the owner)." I called Carl and he reassured me that I would probably be able to walk on the floors later that night, as long as the final coat was applied early enough. I told the employee this information, and he rolled his eyes and said "I have only been doing this for 20 years, but ok". I felt like I was in the middle of a dispute between the employee and the owner and I really wasn't interested in their issues. A few minutes later, Carl called me back and stated he would be coming to my house in the late afternoon/evening to place a fan to faciliate the drying process. I stopped by the house around noon that day - and the final coat was just being placed. I again spoke with the employee and he told me that he wasn't sure I would be able to walk on the floors and that he didn't think I should have been given the option of being in the house that day at all. Again, I felt like I was getting conflicting information and I was in the middle of the dispute between employee and owner. I left and did not return home until 10PM that evening. When I arrived back home, I was shocked to find the doors to the enclosed porch on the front of my house still propped open. It never dawned on me that I would have needed to specifiy to anyone that the doors should be closed prior to them leaving my house. Granted, no one could access my home from the porch - I still had some personal property on the porch that could have easily disappeared with the doors propped open (especially after dark) A fan had been placed in the kitchen and the floors were dry enough for me to walk on. I will say that my floors look beautiful. Considering that they were painted black and they are now natural red maple - I am very happy with the results. And, if it were not for the conflicting information, the rude employee (1 out of 3) and the door being left open - I would have given ProSand an A. They did a great job with the floors and trim. I really felt that all the employees I spoke to were very knowledgable about hardwood floors and the refinishing process.

I was very pleased. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them. I have already recommended them to others. They were very punctual. When they said they would be here they were here.
