We joined Angie's List specifically so we could share our terrific experience with Gold Seal. When Phil took our initial call, he asked detailed questions that allowed him to make recommendations, which were thoroughly explained. The conversation was handled so professionally that it was a no brainer to proceed with the work. Steve showed up right on time for the promptly scheduled appointment, and as he went about tending to the activity, he was generous with his explanations, and offered a number of hints to prevent future varmint incursions. And indeed, this is a matter that is no longer of concern, thanks to Gold Seal. Nice to see a service rendered so well from initial contact through execution, with dandy results.

Contacted Gold Seal after finding them on Angies List. They were very responsive & sent out someone for an estimate very quickly & worked around my schedule . Dennis came & walked around property taking measurements. He was very friendly and professional as he explained how the pesticide worked and the different pricing options. He said he would have a price for me the next week, however he did not due to the fact he was off that week. He called with a quote the following week. I called when I saw the "big deal" that was on Angies List. They offered me that price without hesitation and quickly set up an installation time, again around my schedule. We have kept up the maintenance agreement with Gold Seal by paying the fee each year. I have not been at home when they have come to check on the system, but they say they have. We have had no more issues with termites on our property so I tend to believe them. They have always been very courteous and quick to answer any questions anytime I have called them. I have no complaints.

They were fine. They were friendly and professional, and I would recommend them.

Yellow jackets had gotten into a hole in an exterior wall. They worked their way so far that we could hear them moving around from the interior wall. I called Gold Seal because they had an Angie's List discount of 10% and they were highly recommended. I called on a Friday morning, but they were booked for the day. The gentleman on the phone said they could send someone out the next day, Saturday. We were not going to be around that day, but he said they could send someone out to do the work and the exterminator would leave a bill. I was surprised by their willingness to do this and thankful that we could get this moving so quickly. The next day, the exterminator (Ron) arrived early and we were home when he arrived. He ascertained the severity of the infestation and said it would be $75 minus the 10% Angie's List discount ($67.50 total). Ron was thorough and professional. It was a pleasure to work with him on this project. Ron explained the process of bee removal in detail and then went to work. It only took him about 10-15 minutes to finish the job. He also said that Gold Seal sells the dust that he used for bee removal. But you have to be fully protected, including a plastic bag over your head. I passed on that one, but I'm glad to know you can buy this stuff and do it yourself. Gold Seal Termite and Pest Control Company is an excellent, family-owned operation. I highly recommend them for any pest control or animal removal projects.

We had a whole that covers our roof. They sealed it for us. They are very responsive and did a good job.

They were able to send someone out the next day. Everything went smoothly, and I have not seen any bees since their visit.

I called on Tuesday morning to employ Gold Seal to get rid of bees in an interior wall. They were able to come that afternoon and do the job. While on the phone in the morning, a description of what would be done and approximately how much it would cost was given. We asked that they arrive after 3:00 if they were able to come that day. They came at 3:15. While they were there, they applied the Preventive Exterior Treatment that we had previously bought from the Big Deal. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. We could not have asked for better or friendlier service. We would not hesitate to call them again.

Gold Seal had an $89.00 Angie's list special to spray for all kinds of bugs around the perimeter of the house. I called them when the special was advertised and made an appointment for July. I also asked them to examine an ant problem I had and inspect for termites. They arrived promptly to spray around the house on 7/14 and also sprayed where I had the ant problem in the garage. The next day they came back (per appt I set up) and inspected for termites. The termite inspection was free. These guys are well-informed, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone with pest problems and I'll certainly call them again.

Great. They called me before I called them. They quickly set up the appointment within a matter of days and showed up on time. They were professional, friendly and curtious and did what they promised. They did not attempt to sell me anything additional or present options for future service.

We have not had any problems with bugs (that we know of) since the application in April (it's now July).

Prior to treating our home's exterior with pesticides, we were seeing ants, centipedes and spiders coming into our home. Initial treatment on 6/7/11 greatly reduced but did not eliminate pests entering home. However, they offered to return after 3 weeks if there were still pests entering the house and they performed a second application with a different chemical at no cost to us which was performed on 7/1/11. The results have been few or no pests entering the home since July 1st. I was very satisfied with their service and would use them again.

Casey arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He explained the process, assured me that it is safe for people and pets and then went through the house applying the treatment, to include the basement and outside.

Gold Seal service is fantastic. We've had a problem with ants that they recently treated in early May. With all the rains recently, the ants had reappeared. Gold Seal said they'd come out to treat again as a warranty visit at no charge, even though we were past the 30 day warranty period. They scheduled a visit within 2 days of my call this week. Ron, the rep that made the visit today, was courteous and professional and took the time to answer my many questions about our pests. I heartily recommend Gold Seal and would certainly enlist their services again in the future.

They did a really good job of getting rid of carpenter ants for us. They make sure there is a need to come out, and do not try to charge you without a need for the service. I would highly recommend them and would call them again.

Josh and a member of the team with Gold Seal performed an initial inspection, provided recommendations and performed appropriate services. Follow up visits to confirm resolution were frequent and appreciated. Communication of activity was excellent by all involved, particularly Josh, who provided documentation of visits and actually called me to give me updates.

Over the phone, they recommended things we should check before considering treatment. They described what carpenter ants were; that they only feed on wet wood; and things we could do as a homeowner to reduce the activity of carpenter ants. We had a problem with smaller ants, so decided to go ahead with the treatment. They told me how to prep the home before they came. They told me in advance what was going to be done and how long my young children should be out of the house. As a stay-at-home mom of preschoolers, that was important to me. I was also told the time frame the treatment would be effective. After 6 weeks, we haven't seen any ant activity in our home.

The technician, Mike, showed up on time. He was in uniform, he was neat clean and friendly. He had serviced my house before and he remembered being at my place. He took note of any concerns I had and answered any of my questions. I am pleased with the service performed and would use Gold Seal again in the future. I called on Sunday and left a message. Did not hear back on Monday so left another message. Got a call back on Tuesday morning, and scheduled an appointment for Friday. Phil was very informative and helpful on the phone. Appointment time was 10:00-2:00. Called Friday morning to get a better idea of time and was given a an idea of time. Casey called to let me know when he was on his way. He came in with sprayer in hand. We talked about what we had been experiencing and I showed him one that we had saved. He identified our issue as wood roaches. He was very informative and honest. He also inspected for termites and found nothing. He answered all of my questions, and provided a great deal of helpful information. There was no pressure to pay for a service that, in the end, I did not need. This is the kind of ethical company I wish I could always deal with. Awesome experience. I feel much better informed and know what to look for, and will definitely call Gold Seal again if I have an issue.

. They were responsive as they kept their appointment. What they did was not affective so we had to have them come out and they did without much nudging. We have one of the Big Deals. For people who work outside and are not at home when they come to do their work and I know the company does say you don?t need to be at home when they arrive to do the pest control it would do them a service if they did at least suggest or ask people to go around the house with them or where they have seen the problem most or get them seed put before they do the treatment. I would probably use them in the future.

A time between 8 o'clock and 1 o'clock on June 4th was set to meet at our home. A representative called around 8:30 to say he was on his way. The technician sprayed inside our home where the ants were seen, a couple of areas in the kitchen where the potential for ants is greater and into the crawl space vents near the area where the ants were present. The outside perimeter was also treated. Seven days later, no ants so, therefore, the treatment seems to be working.

I was not present when Gold Seal came on 5/21 as I was not notified by the serviceman. Relatives were at the house. I was not able to see exactly what was sprayed and whether or not granules were distributed around the house. However, upon seeing bugs 14 days post treatment, I called for a reapplication as they have a 30 day warrantly. Today, they came out to re-apply. He thoroughly sprayed the basement, enclosed porch, garage, and all around the house including outside window sills. He also applied granules around the house. There was no additional cost for this second application. The serviceman was professional friendly. He was also very thorough.

Casey could find no termite activity and explained that the season for carpenter bees was almost over and saw no signs of current activity. He suggested we call early next April to spray for the bees. Casey was informative and saved us money. This is the kind of professionalism and service to the customer that all companies should provide. We will certainly call Gold Seal next year!

It went really well. It had been some years since I had a termite inspection, so checked Angies List and contacted Gold Seal. Dennis Duckworth came out, and I was really surprised to find out the termite inspection was free as long as I wasn't refinancing my house. After he did the exterior spray, answering my multitude of questions, he did the termite inspection which was negative. I loved his professionalism and his thoroughness. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, and recommended we have them back in two or three years to check again.

These guy were just great. Mark came and made an inspection and gave me prompt quote. The other company I talked with was going to install the monitoring system around most of the house for about 20% more. Even though I did not tell him that I had another quote, he told me that simply putting the monitoring/bait system in probably wouldn't solve my problem since they had come in under a concrete porch. Mark came out twice to drill through he wall in the basement and through the porch. He was very cautious about drilling through the ceramic tiles in the porch. Followup was simply excellent. The monitoring/bait system was put all around the house.
