Gold seal Termite and Pest Control Company provided great service! My business was important to them and they proved that by acting promptly and professionally. My initial call after purchasing an Angie's list big deal was not as smooth as I would have liked. Unfortunately my call was not returned. I asked Angie's list to return my money and they did. Promptly the President of the company called me and asked how he could get my business back? With price negotiations done he sent one of his best representatives to inspect and determine the right treatment for my home. This inspection was educational about the lives of termites and the products to treat for them. The inspection also revealed a true need to treat my home and garage for active termites. The representative was thorough, knowledgeable and courtious. The treatment of the Termidor product was done by a courteous and knowledgeable technician. And he was on time. As a home owner I know it is important to protect my investment and the equity in my home. For me that means identifying potential problems and correcting them quickly. Thank you Gold Seal for peace of mind.

They did very nice job overall. The price was very good. The worker was prompt, punctual, and courteous.

Called Gold Seal to come out to take care of carpenter bees and ants. While discussing the issue with them over the phone they recommended that I spray not only my shed (which the bees were attacking) but also my house if there was wood on it. I agreed even though it was an added charge. In addition, I was having ants appear in my upstairs master bedroom and downstairs kitchen. I signed up for their try-annual service for spraying the house. But the problem is no one told me they'd also spray the inside of the home, so when they came out to my house to spray for the ants and bees, I was at work... After the initial spray on April 5th, I continued having issues and well, they even got worse. I called again and they told me to wait 2 weeks to see if it was still an issue. I waited and kept using home defense spray in my bedroom and other parts of my home to combat the ants. Also, the bees kept attacking my shed. I called again and they came back out and they sprayed inside the home, which was a surprise to me since I didn't know that was originally included in the service, and lay granules down around the house. They sprayed something inside the holes the carpenter bees were making on the shed. None of that worked. I did some research on the granules and apparently you're supposed to go over them with water to activate them. They didn't do that. I continued fighting the bees who thank goodness don't have stingers but kept swooping at my head every time I went into my backyard... Kept fighting the ants that were appearing in my bedroom. Nothing was working. In late April I painted the master bedroom. We removed all the electrical socket covers off the wall and found an entire ant colony living inside my wall. It was like a horror movie how they all came running out and went everywhere. Thank goodness we had cleared out the room already. It took 3 hours and almost a full container of home defense spray to kill that entire colony. Also that same weekend, I discovered that the carpenter bees had started drilling into the house! I called Goal Seal for the 3rd time to come out and fix this mess. Their "spray guy" came later in the week and sprayed all around the house for bees. I found it very interesting when he was done that he said he was the only spray guy and he had NEVER been to my house! So that tells me all this time I had paid for a service that was never rendered. He confirmed that there were carpenter bee holes on the 2nd story of the house. I called again on May 12th because I started having ants in my bedroom again, but they said they couldn't make it out until 5 days later. I went away for the weekend and came back to ants all over my bedroom... I'd had enough. I went to Lowes and bought liquid ant traps, granules, and other chemicals and took care of the problem myself. I called and cancelled my latest appointment with Gold Seal and I don't want to deal with their awful service anymore. I cannot believe I let this go on for over a month and paid over $200 for this service. I feel like I never got the service I initially paid for and now I have holes in my house. I DO NOT recommend Gold Seal.

Josh turner was the technician. I called when the business opened and left a message. He returned my call in a half hour and said he would be at my home in (3) hours, which he was. He was courteous and his work was effective. He gave alot of explanation of what he was doing and why. He cleaned up after himself properly.

Called to get quotes for Sentricon application- Gold Seal was $100 cheaper for initial treatment and $100 cheaper per year for continued treatment/surveillance. I spoke with Phil yesterday and Mark came today. The treatment was finished within 20 minutes. They were punctual and professional.

.He was very professional. He didn't do anything that wasn't necessary. He was mindful of the fact that we have a dog and kids. They also left the bait traps and told us if we caught anything they would come right back out and pick it up.

Although it was only a mouse, Josh was great at taking care of the issue, which I originally thought was something larger than a mouse. While he was in the attic, he spotted an area where daylight was coming through, which he took care of by fixing the flashing. On a second trip, he baited the attic to deter more mice from coming in and staying.

I waited 24 hours and after not getting a return call, I called to check and see what the issue might be. I was told that the Termite Manager would call and that they were busy. One week later I called another company for an inspection since Gold Seal never called me back.

Went very well, He showed up when scheduled. Was courteous, informative, thorough and very professional.

They were very good. They got most of the nest but not all of it because they are very hard to treat. They came back and didn't charge anything. They were very prompt, competent, and easy to deal with.

They were okay. It took them like 15 minutes. I was expecting more than what they did. I could’ve done it myself.

Arrived for initial diagnosis. Explained in detail the work that was to be done. Left brochures and a written estimate of the work to be performed on the initial visit. After hiring them the service techician returned to complete the work. Very thorough and completed the work on time. Very courteous with each contact made.

We are pleased with their work. The overall experience is excellent. They are punctual, responsive, and professional. The price is good. The quality of work is excellent. I will continue to use this provider.

I haven't seen any bugs since they were here. They were very professional and they came out when they said they would.

I was very pleased. I had a coupon for outside treatment, and they gave me the same coupon price for the inside treatment as well. It was a good deal.

They did a fine job and the price was very, very reasonable. I would use them again.

I have some buddies that work for them. I would absolutely use them again.

From talking with Phil early in the morning to when Fred arrived later that afternoon I have to say I was totally impressed with their service and this company. Phil was great describing what he thought was going on and worked hard to get someone out the same day. When Fred arrived I showed him the spot the bees were going in and out of... and then he also took a walk around the property to make sure there were no other areas of concern. He found a few developing wasps nest and took care of those as well. The whole process was very professional. I am sold on this company! Great job!

We got three treatments from them. They were prompt. They scheduled the appointment right away. Service was good. Hopefully the treatment works. We haven't had any problems since they came.

(see above) Everything went very well and the whole process of removing the bird from between our two walls took less than an hour. We were happy they were able to remove the bird safely and take it from our premises as well. I would recommend this company highly for a job well done, a reasonable price (including Angie's List discount) and prompt, professional service.

They were good. They came and did their job. I didn’t have to worry about anything. They were neither cheap nor expensive; they were average.

They are very responsive and quick to get an appointment. They spray inside the home and always let us know to keep our pets away from 24 hours after the spray.

They sprayed the house for ants and put mouse bait throughout the house, all of which was fine. However, I specifically asked them to check in the garage, too, which they claim to have done. However, I later learned from a different (and better) exterminator (Reliable Pest Control) that my garage was overrun with mice, who were feeding on some some grass seed that had spilled on the garage floor and had been there a long time. Gold Seal said absolutely nothing about the horrible mouse problem in the garage, they just put a few bait stations out, which of course did nothing to solve the problem. This was a problem that was not obvious to me, but which should have been obvious to any externminator that was paying attention. I will not use Gold Seal again.
