Presto-X Pest Control

The moles are still here, and I can't seem to get rid of them. Apparently moles are very difficult to remove.

Used a "Big Deal" for this service, at $89.00, otherwise it would have cost $175.00 (quoted). The Big Deal price was high, in my opinion, but it was much more reasonable than the original quoted rate. Haven't seen any mites in ~ 1.5 months. Still have ants, but the numbers were knocked down with the treatment. Time to feed the remaining ants with insecticide granules, to keep the numbers low/in check :-) The staff (woman who arranged the appointment, technician who applied the insecticide, and consultant regarding the remaining ants), were all absolutely fabulous (professional, friendly, and eager to help). Top notch group.

Technician was courteous, professional, and efficient. I have no complaints regarding their work. The spray seems to have been effective as the house is relatively insect free. There was no a significant preexisting issue to address so gauging effectiveness is difficult. I am not sure if proactive pest treatments of this kind are necessary in my situation, but should an issue arise I would use Gold Seal to address that concern.

It worked out fine. They came out pretty quickly.

Sorry to say that another company beat them to the job. I was trying to get three estimates but time was of the essence and the contractors needed the area to be treated. Gold Seal arrived just as I accepted the other company to perform the work. Gold Seal was very kind in their response to the situation. Although I did not use them, I would still recommend them.

The provider came out and removed a nest in the upper portion of the house. They also noticed a second nest starting to form, and did that for free. The first nest started to get rebuilt by the wasps, but I contacted them and they came out to take care of it for free. I would use them again.

The applicator was thorough, he took care of our problems and did an inspection of the rest of the house.

Everything went very smoothly. On site techs were thorough and professional. They were knowledgeable and very helpful. I feel they went above and beyond our expectations. Office staff was prompt and courteous.

Alex, the young man who came, did a great job. He was on time and did what he was supposed to do. I have used this company for several years. I was happy to get a lower price thru Angie's List.

Servicer provider was prompt,very knowledge, respectful and cleaned up after himself. He offered suggestions to control problems we were having. His advice proved to be extremely helpful and has prevented other problems as well.

It went very well. only one snag, they didn't come when they said, but when I called there was someone at my home one hour after notification. There was also a mix-up regarding the add for special yard and house extermination. Provider said the add should have stated House and/or yard, but they honored the add and did both. They did an excellent job outside and inside for the price as listed in the add. No horrible fumes, and no insects weeks after extermination. I will definitely use them again.

They did this but those where old nests and new ones just being formed. I would have rather have a preventative system because soon after this we got an infestation of wood bees

Took Dave's advice. Will do nothing. They offered "No charge "as they had done no treatments of any kind. I insisted on paying the $25 for their "expertise service" and the peace of mind it gave me.

It went very well, he was professional and spent a lot of time paying attention to detail. He gave us the Angie's List discount.

I don't think I would get them again just because we still have ants. He didn't put anything different that I can buy at the hardware store. He was very pleasant but I think their stuff wasn't effective. They were professional and they were fine.

We were able to quickly set up appointment and found the staff to be friendly and professional. When the exterminator came to our house, it seemed rushed. He sprayed behind our home, in our kitchen and on our front porch which took no more than 10 minutes. There was visible powder on our kitchen floor and when I asked if this would be a problem for our dog if she licked it, he simply replied that it would be the first he had ever seen that with a chuckle. So, I was never quite sure if it was pet-friendly or if I needed to keep the dog and kids away from the treatment for a period of time afterwards. He was friendly, but didn't explain much about the procedure or seem to take too much time. I am not certain if that is typical because we have not had to have such a treatment in the past. We did get ants back in a month and half (just after their warranty period). The company offered to come back for $50 to re-treat or suggested an ant bait that we could purchase at a hardware store. We did purchase the baits but just got them and don't know how effective they will be yet. It was disappointing to spend $89 and have the pests back so soon, but do understand that we were officially outside of the guaranteed time to re-treat for free. Overall, I was fine with the company, but will probably try someone else next time to see if we have better luck keeping the ants away longer. But, to be fair, it has rained a great deal since the treatment and, apparently, that can increase pest problems and may be why they came back so quickly.

It didn't work at first and the ants came back less than a week later, so I called and they first said they didn't offer a guarantee for the Angie's List discount special, but when I questioned it, they put me on hold and then said they would come back out again for no charge which I appreciated.

Work completed as expected, price was fair, schedule was maintained.

Came a week before scheduled which was an issue.

Mark was very prompt and let us know that wood rot in crawl was not insect damage but water damage. I will definitely be calling Gold Seal back for a Termite Report when I have an offer on the home.

Originally, when company came out to do pest control spraying, they were at our house 5 - 6 minutes and left. I called about lack of service and the owner sent someone back to properly do service. Because of the " situation " was given a free year of pest control without even asking. I simply wanted the job done correctly in the first place. I have always been impressed with the sincere customer service by this company. 2014 was the year I received the " free " year. I would have thought that they would have followed up in 2015 asking if we wanted their service. So far, no contact from company.

The first trip out, someone sprayed around the front and sides of our house and also left some sort of crystals for the ants. I called back a couple of weeks later - within the 30-day guarantee window - because we still had ants in our kitchen and living room. Another person came and this time, sprayed all around the outside of the house. There are fewer, but we still have ants.

Provider took his time and was very complete.
