A nearby house was found to be infested with termites and we wanted to have our house inspected to find out if we had the same problem. Gold Seal responded quickly to our inquiry. Luckily, we don't have termites but elected to purchase the preventative treatment, there was no pressure to make the purchase. The company was very accommodating concerning the inspection and treatment times. The representative was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. All of our questions and concerns were answered, including those a week after the service was performed. We used Gold Seal Termite and Pest Control Company a number of years ago for a bee infestation. They had responded quickly and eliminated the problem in no time. The company truly cares about their customers.

The exterminator arrived on time. He took his sprayer and sprayed the exterior of the house to get rid of ants. He offered to spray indoors for an extra cost but I declined. When he was finished, I signed the papers and he left. It was effective because we did not have the ant problem that we had battled every spring. I will probably have them back again this spring.

Technician arrived on time, completed the inspection, and only charged half of the usual service call price.

They did the job and were very nice.

I have a contract with them for quarterly spraying for insects and other bugs. Must be working, because I don't have many bugs, inside or out, summer or winter. They also control mice.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal to have preventative maintenance for pests in the early Spring. They showed up right on time and sprayed the perimeter of my house. The technician was professional and explained to me everything he was doing and everything he was using. I would use them again. I usually have a bad ant problem every Spring but this year I did not.

I have already explained my disappointment over when the applications were to be performed. As long as they come out in March 2013 to perform the third application I will be satisfied.

I was having trouble with carpenter ants inside and outside my home and carpenter bees along my fence. The man that came out to spray was very thorough and spent a good amount of time determining where the ants were entering the home. He did a very heavy spray at the area he suspected they were entering. He also treated the full interior and exterior of the home for all insects. We stopped seeing the carpenter ants inside the home after treatment. For the carpenter bees, he walked our fence looking for their nests and treated each area found. He explained that we would still see the male bees, even though the females and the eggs would be dead within the holes that he sprayed. We continued to struggle with the male carpenter bees the remainder of the spring.

They tech was great and helpful. Though the spray didnt last as long as they said it would. We called the company to see what was the issue and they said it doesn't always last as long as stated because of weather. They offered to come out to respray for an additional amount but we declined.

There was an issue with the Angie's List deal, however I received a call from the company management who wanted to make a mistake by their company; right. I am open minded, and allowed the company to come back out on an annual basis for a year as outlined by management. Management went above and beyond to resolve the issue. We will now wait to see how the annual basis and professionalism of workers before we can make an honest assessment of the company.

From the moment I called I was treated to professional, courteous staff. My call was directed exactly where it needed to go. I had purchased an Angie's List deal which I had allowed to expire beyond the date indicated in my voucher for Gold Seal services. However, I was allowed to redeem my certificate for the Gold Seal exterior insect treatment I had purchased. I made an appointment about 3 days out and the Gold Seal representative was very punctual in arriving the day of service. He explained briefly what he would be doing that day and then went about the business of spraying all around my home's foundation and then distributing their dry treatment afterwards. I was very pleased with every aspect of my experience with Gold Seal.

They were very quick to remove the raccoons and apparently release in a wooded area

Every technician from this company has been very polite and patient. They do not mind hearing my concerns about bait safety nor about my sometimes vague descriptions of problems. I do not feel pressured to buy extra services. They are very careful about putting bait around food surfaces. I feel that I am treated as a customer as carefully as they would treat their own family members. They are careful not to track in dirt from the outside or insulation from the attic. I had a very poor experience with another extermination company who tried to sell me many extra services with fast talking and pressure, so I appreciate the dependability of Gold Seal. Update: I now have a contract for three visits each year. Mice and ants are no longer unwelcome guests. Dave does such a great job--always careful and thorough. I feel that he uses just the right amount of deterrent in only the needed places in the house for the problem after carefully sizing up what the outdoor creatures are attempting to do in the house. Luckily we have not had more complex problems with raccoons or squirrels that our neighbors have faced, but I know that if we did have problems, Gold Seal would help me solve them. I feel glad to have the help of such a dependable, expert, responsive company.
