I was not happy with them. I had them come multiple times and on what I thought I was getting I didn’t end up getting a good deal. I had the same problem that occurred again and again and each time they tried something different and it was a little shady. It depended on who came out and they did different stuff and everything was quoted different and each guy did things differently than the previous guy and it never felt right. The price was fair.

Went well. Probably a mouse instead of chipmunk.

I purchased a big deal from them and their services turned out great. I like him. He came out right away. He did not charge me more than the big deal. He did what he was supposed to do.

They were great. They did my crawlspace, which is not a fun thing, to make sure there weren’t any termites or anything bad going on there and reported that it looks good. The technician took the time to go up the driveway because we had several ant colonies up there and now all the ants are gone. He proposed a package for us and he wasn’t pushy about it. He left it on us to decide whether we wanted it or not. They were really good.

I was having a huge problem with tiny ants when I bought the Angie's Big Deal. Gold Seal took care of this problem by placing ant "feeding stations" throughout my home. Within a few days, most of the ants were gone. Then I started seeing the winged ants that usually invade each spring. Gold Seal came back and used another product for these ants, and they were gone almost immediately. Gold Seal also treated my home's outside perimeter and positioned mouse poison in my garage, where the rodents come in during the winter. I bought not only the Angie's List Big Deal but also purchased a year-long termite- and pest-protection program after Gold Seal offered it to me at a very reasonable price. During that year, I can call them whenever I have a problem with just about any pest and they will return. Best of all, the program will last through next spring, when I am certain to have ants again! I had only one negative issue with an overly zealous Gold Seal employee. When I arranged for the plan that included spraying the outer perimeter, I was told it couldn't be done that day because it was raining. We set another date the next week. It was raining then, too, but a Gold Seal employee called to say he was coming out to spray. I told him I didn't want it done on a rainy day since the first representative had told me the spray would not be effective if rain occurred during or soon after spraying. A few days later, this same employee left a message on my answering machine saying he would be in my neighborhood the following Monday and planned to come by and spray the perimeter then. I called Gold Seal to say Monday was not a good day for me, and we set another date. (I wanted to be home when the spraying was done just so I could confirm it was done and also to make sure it didn't get done if it was raining or rain was predicted). When Monday came, this employee called to say he was on his way. I told him that his company had arranged a different appointment with me later that week, when no rain was predicted. There seemed to be some "disconnect" between him and his company since he didn't know I had called Gold Seal to tell him not to come on Monday and that a new appointment had been arranged.

It went well. This is the third time I've had them out over a period of about 4 years. I always get the "big deal" where they spray around the house to keep insects out. They always check for termites at my request. I found these guys on Angie's list where they were graded high and have used them every since. They always come on time, are very professional and explain everything they do. Good job.

My experience overall went very well. It looks like the termites have been exterminated. They used a non-toxic bait which was great for my pets. The staff is very friendly and professional. The pricing was comparable to others. I would highly recommend this company to others.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The service went just fine. They came out a couple of weeks after purchasing the deal. They're friendly, on time and met our expectations.

Prompt in scheduling and communicating with me regarding service! Seems to have worked, I can be in my yard without being bothered by the skeeters.

My elderly mother lives on the south side of Indianapolis. She recently found a raccoon living in her attic. I contacted Gold Seal's wildlife department. They sent Ron out to set a trap on Mom's roof. He checked the trap every other day. The raccoon was getting the bait [marsh mellows and dog food] but eluded getting caught in the trap for a couple days. Ron changed out the trap and did a different set up with the bait which worked after a 2-3 more days. Overall.....took about a week. Ron did a nice job. Setup of trap and monitoring is one fee up front. Removal of the raccoon is another fee of $55-60ish payable at the time of removal. Turns out....it was a female raccoon that gave birth. Three days after her removal.....3 babies came out of the attic/walked away. Gold Seal came back out and put a temporary block on the hole to the attic [until I could get there to fix it]. My mother has three dogs. It would be difficult to try to trap the baby raccoons without risk to the dogs getting in the cage on the ground. For now.....Mom's house is raccoon free again.

It went well. They did a nice job. They were kind enough to leave a note letting me know that they've been there so at least I know that the work did get done. It worked well. I need to contact them to start another service agreement. It did the job like we needed it to. They're very easy to deal with and talk to on the phone. There are no problems at all.

He was very nice, told us all about how they breed, not to leave standing water around. He did the whole yard. I'm not sure on the price, it was one of Angies deals so it could have been less. So far so good. We've been out in the evening and no bites yet. I thought they would come in from the yards around us but he said they don't travel too far from home, and hide during the day. Whatever he did seems to work.

I like them a lot. I did not have a big problem, but we did have an infestation on one board on a screened-in back porch. They detected and sprayed it for us. We haven't had any problems since. There was no additional cost. It was a one-time service.

I contacted provider in early June as I had purchased the Angie's list deal in April. They said they would be out the next week. On the day they were to come out (13-JUN), it was raining. They called to cancel and said the office would be in touch on Monday to re-schedule. Three weeks later, I called again as I hadn't received a call to re-schedule. They said they would be out the next week. They showed up on 9-JUL- during the one hour the entire day it was raining. He said he was unable to spray since it was raining and the office would be in touch to re-schedule. It is now 3 weeks later again and no response. It shouldn't be the customer's job to continue to follow-up with them to get them to do the work - especially when they've already been paid for the work - so I will be requesting a refund.

It took two tries. The provider did not show up the first visit and it had to be rescheduled. Once they came the service offered was excellent. The provider was apologetic, but I lost a great deal of time and had to be more engaged than I thought was reasonable.

Everything was wonderful. We had a problem with pill bugs when it was wet outside. We went to Home Depot for some pesticide, but it didn't take care of the problem. We found the big deal and they came out and sprayed the outside of the house. We haven't had any issues in the basement since they came out. We are expected to use them again for their 2nd treatment within the next month.

I contacted Gold Seal Termite and Pest control after purchasing a "Big Deal" on Angie's List. We set up a date and time frame (afternoon) when it was to be treated. The tech arrived on time and we discussed some of the insect control issues we were observing in our home. He then sprayed around the perimeter of my home and around the porch deck area. He completed the task in a short period of time and we have not seen any centipedes yet.

Pleasant fellow came out and treated the house for bugs. Not a lot to tell.

The first two visits proved ineffective at eliminating ant problem. With each following visit a more powerful application was used. After the third one it eliminated the ants and sow bugs. Pleased with the end result, just wished it could have been done with less follow-up trips. This ant problem was unusually difficult to deal with.

He did a thorough job and was very courteous.
