I have been using their services for about seven years. Their gentlemen are always pleasant and on time. I like having a yearly agreement with them because if I have a problem they will come right out.

The crew was clean and professional. They did a good job.

The two young men arrived on time, and wasted no time during the hours they were at my home. They were knowledgeable and friendly. I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Because of the extra work they did on the pipes and duct in the master bedroom, that room is warm and pleasant for the first time since I bought the house.

They were very knowledgeable and prompt. They did not pressure me into anything I did not want to do but offered helpful suggestions. I would use them again.

They show up, check things out & don't try to sell us anything we don't need. I think they keep us from having problems in the future. I would also give them an A + in responsiveness.

We called them for air duct cleaning because of a burning rubber type smell that we have had since Peterman put in the furnace and air conditioner two years ago. Peterman had come out after we noticed the smell and tried to help us figure out the problem. We have tried numerous things to get rid of the smell. We have called them to clean the air duct about six weeks ago thinking that might be the problem, and when the technician realized who it was by asking me what street I live on; he said the would have his boss call me back. No one ever called.

They did a good job. I set up a service contract with them as well. They are very prompt when I call them. They are clean and courteous when they are in my home.

On Sunday night 02/11/07, I was feeling groggy and was getting a headache in my bedroom. Not being able to determine what was wrong, I moved my carbon monoxide detector to my bedroom and within 5 minutes it was screaming, I immediately opened windows and doors (it was cold outdoors) and called Peterman's answering service. Within minutes I received a call back from a serviceman and explained to him what was happening. He advised that I shut the furnace off and they would be out on Monday morning 2/12/07 (the day before the big snow storm). After checking my furnace at about 8:00 A.M, it was determined that the heat exchanger had a crack in it. We discussed my options of repair versus the purchase of a new heating system. I decided on a new system since my old system was 16 years old. Peterman was able to get the new furnace and installers to my house within 3-4 hours and installed my new furnace so that I had heat before the storm. With better weather the AC was put in on March 8th.

Very well. He called within the designated time frame and arrived promptly. He serviced the furnace and arranged to have the ductwork checked out. He was pleasant and efficient.

They gave us the most competitive estimate of the four companies we called. They were able to start the work three days after we hired them. Three employees arrived promptly in the morning and completed all of the work in one business day. All of them were courteous and professional.

They were very professional and knew what they were doing. I will use them again and use their services for heating and cooling.

Derek came to the house within 2 hours of my initial request for service. He discovered that the furnace had been water damaged and said it had to be replaced. He provided an estimate of the cost of replacing just the furnace with the same type of unit (@ $2400), as well as the furnace/AC combination. He patiently answered a series of questions I delivered over several days. I found his answers were always supported by any research I did on my own, and I feel he recommended what would serve my needs best rather than what the company might have wanted to sell. In the end, Peterman's had the best price for the type of unit I wanted, the best deal on an extended warranty, and the most accommodating schedule for installation.

They came on time and did a great job, installing both units in one day. They cleaned up after themselves very well. When there was a minor problem that evening (a wire popped off the thermostat), they came right back out, found & fixed it quickly, as well as solving a minor vibration problem. The new furnace gives us heat in rooms that have never received heat before. They sealed the ductwork well, and insulated it. Overall, we were very pleased with them. I have already recommended them to my mother. I would confidently recommend them to anyone.

Peterman was by far the lowest price of 5 contractors that came out to give a price for complete electric furnace and Central AC replacement. I had called them because of Angie's List rating, and because they handled Heil equipment, which had been recommended. They showed up the day that the job was scheduled, and completed the work in a reasonable time. Initially, there was a personnel problem with one of the technicians, but he was replaced and the job went just fine. The equipment looks and works great.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ON TIME, NEAT, CLEAN AND COURTEOUS AND MOST OF ALL HONEST!!! BECAUSE OF THEIR HONESTY THEY SAVED ME LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. THEY PROVIDED A SECOND OPINION AFTER A FRAUDULENT CO. LIED TO ME. I WILL ALWAYS USE PETERMAN HEATING AND A/C.

I CALLED PETERMAN TO GET A SECOND OPINION ON WORK THAT ANOTHER COMPANY SAID "NEEDED" TO BE DONE TO REPAIR MY A/C. THE OTHER COMPANY WANTED OVER $500 TO REPLACE MY COOLING FAN MOTOR AND CAPACITOR ON THE COMPRESSOR. PETERMAN DETERMINED THAT THE MOTOR WAS FINE AND ONLY NEEDED A NEW CAPACITOR. THEY SAVED ME OVER $350!! I WILL BE USING PETERMAN FOR ALL OF MY FUTURE HEATING & AC NEEDS!

ORIGINALLY CALLED OUT OFF HOURS FOR SERVICE CALL TO REPAIR NON-OPERATING FURNACE. DECIDED TO REPLACE DUE TO COST OF PARTS NEEDED AND AGE. REPLACED 20 YEAR OLD GAS FURNACE AND 26 YEAR OLD A/C WITH NEW HIGH EFFICIENCY UNITS THE FOLLOWING DAY. CHARGED LESS THAN TWO OTHER COMPANY'S QUOTED FOR ADVERTISED ''WINTER REPLACEMENT AT COST'' DEALS. DIDN'T CHARGE FOR OFF HOURS SERVICE CALL REPAIR TIME SINCE UNITS REPLACED INSTEAD.

AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. PETE'S CREW WAS MOST COURTEOUS, LEFT THE AREA CLEAN, WERE NICE TO OUR CATS. WE CAME UP WITH A GOOD PLAN TOGETHER -- BETTER THAN THE MECHANICAL ENGINEERS WE HIRED, AND HE SAVED US SOME MONEY -- ABOUT $2000, WITH SOME PRACTICAL CHANGES. PETE WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO MY CONCERNS AS THE WORK UNFOLDED. WHEN THE BILL CAME, THEY HELD BACK BILLING THE FINAL $500 UNTIL THE WORK WAS COMPLETED. THE UNFINISHED TASKS ARE DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND PETE'S CONTROL, I.E. THE WEATHER AND ANOTHER MAJOR PROJECT.

THEY SIMPLY DO A NICE JOB EVERY YEAR. VERY PUNCTUAL, DO NOT TRY TO SELL ME WHAT I DO NOT NEED. MY FURNACE AND AIR CONDITIONER ARE AGED AND THEY KEEP THEM RUNNING WELL, I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. PRICE REFLECTS SERVICE CONTRACT TWICE A YEAR.

BOTH THE MAN WHO GAVE US THE ESTIMATE AND JAMES, THE INSTALLER, WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. BOTH MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF FEEL SECURE WITH THE PRODUCT AND THE INSTALLATION AND ALSO FEEL THAT IF ANY PROBLEMS DO ARISE, THEY WILL BE HANDLED CORRECTLY AND IN A TIMELY FASHION.

THEY CAME AT 8 AM THE NEXT MORNING, AS PROMISED. WE HAVE USED PETERMAN FOR AT LEAST 6 YEARS AND ARE EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE. WE SEE THE SAME TECHNICIANS YEAR AFTER YEAR. IT IS NICE TO KNOW THEY VALUE THEIR EMPLOYEES. THEY ARE HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL!

THEY ARE RELIABLE AND HAVE COMPETITIVE PRICING. THEY ARE HERE WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL BE HERE. MY FURNACE DID REQUIRE 2 FILTERS AND THEY WERE DIFFICULT TO GET OUT, AND THEY MOVED THE AREA FOR ME TO BE ABLE TO GET TO THE FURNACE FILTERS.

THEY WERE REFERRED BY A FRIEND, WHO I ORIGINALLY CALLED FOR HELP. THEIR SERVICE CALL FEE WAS VERY REASONABLE, THE SERVICE REP. CHECKED EVERYTHING, AND I WAS SATISFIED.
