I showed the crew around and they began work immediately. They were careful as I just had the kitchen floor installed. After the installation I was instructed on the particulars of the furnace and humidifier. They cleaned up everything and hauled away the old furnace and two old metal doors I threw in to seal the deal. When my husband returned home from work that evening he could tell immediately upon stepping into the house we had a better heating system in the home.

Excellent service! Bob was on time, thorough & really helped me understand how to maximize my heating system. The $ 170 is a subscription & covers annual heat/AC check ups. Very reasonable!!

Excellent. I called to schedule an appointment at 9:30 a.m. and a technician was here between 10:30 and 11:00 and he was done about 12:30. Could not have asked for better service from Peterman HVAC or Allen the technician. We ended up buying a service plan.

The technicians (Rich & Bob) were prompt, courteous and took care in their work. They didn't suggest a myriad of additional services that would raise the price. I was pleased that they were able to keep this 17 year old unit capably operating.

I have been very happy with their work. Scheduling appointments are handled by their office. They always contact me with several scheduling options. Service has always been punctual and professional. The technicians are capable and efficient. They have provided good recommendations and advice. They do not try to solicit unnecessary work or repairs.

Showed up on time, they were careful not to dirty our rugs/carpets with their shoes or equipment. Cleaning was vacuum only, but he was willing to scrub a vent with cleaner as well.

Serviceman called as instructed for approval for work to be performed.

The estimate was lower than competitors, so I chose them. Air duct cleaning crew came a day before the installation crew. The air duct crew removed the old equipment and cleaned all the duct work throughout the house. In addition, they helped me move some large pieces of furniture in from the garage. The next day the installation crew came about an hour and a half late. They worked until 6pm installing the heater, ac and a couple add ons. They were going to go over the system with me and explain things such as the new thermostat, but the tech really wanted to go home. Within an hour, I noticed that the heater was on but air conditioning was coming out the vents. I called the sales rep and he asked me to call the service department. A technician on-call came within an hour to inspect the system. To my supprise, he went through the entire system to be sure it was installed correctly. He found that certain wires were crossed which caused the heater and the a/c to run simultaneously. He also discovered a leak in the newly installed humidifier. This technician took the time to explain the system and listened when I said I did not want the thermostat programmed. The service tech and the air duct cleaning crew were the bright spots of this process. As for as the company goes, they take care of their customers. A handyman cut through a wall and severed an a/c line prior to installation. Peterman Heating and Cooling did not charge the handyman or me for this added cost. I did appreciate that very much and so did the handyman. There is room for improvement, however, in the end it all turned out fine. Possibly, just a little customer service training for the installers.

The experience was really good. Everything ran very smoothly. They had the best price and I liked the salesman a lot. He worked with me on getting the price down. When they came out to install it they took the old one out. They covered the floor since they are hardwood floors. They installed it properly.

Went great. Peterman employees always show up on time, do thorough job. We wouldn't use anyone else.

They did a very good job looking over things and were prompt, professional and the think I liked best is that my ac unit is about 25 years old....they didnt even mention the idea of selling me a new one. They said its working fine, just keep doing what you are doing. I loved that. It would have been easy to try and pressure me into getting a new one...so I am very thankful they were not pushy sales people. I've experienced that with other compnaies and I hate it. AND...they didnt find anything wrong with either unit...which also is unusual...as I've come across many companies who "find" things wrong during the inspections.

I have two central AC units (two zones), one of which had the coils freeze up. Once unfrozen, it stopped blowing cold air. I called Peterman and scheduled an appointment. Since I had one unit running, I did not pay the extra for a off-hours service call. The repairman found leaks in both systems. Plugged each and filled the freon. He also told me the cause of the frozen coils was the location of my dehumidifier and suggested where to locate it. Since the service call, I have had the best AC, nice and cold, with the most even humidity since I bought the house 10 years ago. The $587 was for repairing the damage, the service call, Freon and I bought a service contract on both units. I think the price is fair for the work I had done and the service contract I bought. What is GREAT, is I forgot about the service contract, yet they reminded me that I had some free service calls built in for periodic maintenance. They called to remind me and schedule it. Most firms would have kept the money and let me forget.

They always show up on time and do a good job. They always wear bootees so they don’t track in dirt. They are very efficient and have a reasonable price.

They are very thorough. They are always on time for the appointment and provide real good service. I don't have any comparison for price.

I have a plan when they come twice a year. They always do a good job. They show up when they’re supposed to. They are good people.

The work has been fine. They send the same repairman all the time, so I am able to know his name.

The service was awesome. The man that came out and gave me the quote was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained things to me when I asked questions. I had a couple of concerns and he explained them to me. The two gentlemen that put in the units did a super job. They knew what they were doing. They went to work and did a good job.

Peterman Heating and Cooling performed service on our HVAC system. The next day I came home to find the ceiling under the unit caved in due to water. Peterman's technician did not put the drain line back into the drain which caused the water damage. It look me hours to find the cause of the problem and to clean up the mess. It will likely cost me $500 - $1000 to fix the damage they caused. Peterman Heating and Cooling was very professional and owned up to the their honest mistake. They came out and repaired my ceiling and repainted it. I was surprised that they were willing to do this. I don't think many companies would have done this. Because of the way they handled this they have earned my trust and I would definitely use them again.

Everything went well. Peterman was prompt, professional, and their prices were reasonable.

It was a great experience overall. The technician started the tune-up on the exterior a/c unit, replacing the capacitor. He then needed to add 0.5oz of freon to fully charge the system. He explained everything he was doing step by step and would answer any questions we had. He also did an inspection/tune-up on the furnace and heat and found nothing wrong with that system. He suggested things we could to do save money on the work he performed that day. Great pleasure to work with.

Service was great, our home is so much less dusty now! Wasn't the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for and we loved it!

Fixed our furnace during the ice storm this winter. Made sure the other furnace in our home was able to heat the rest of the home until the repair was made to the second one. They are wonderful!
