Petermans set up the appointment for a particular day and told me that they would call me before the plumber came out to the house. I chose to be called 45 minutes before they came out, and they were right on time. Joshua, the plumber who came out to the house to do the work, was excellent! He was very professional and kept me informed during the whole job. He also wore the paper booties over his shoes when he was inside the house, which I appreciated as it kept my carpet clean. He had to cut off the old shut off valve and solder in a new section of pipe with a new shut off valve in it. He had to work in the crawl space and the closet where the valve was located. There were only 2 areas where I thought things could have been better. 1. It did not seem that the person that I talked to in the office when I set up the appointment had given the correct information to the plumber. When he came he thought I had a leak, and he did not know that I had a coupon even though I had been very specific with the office when I set up the appointment. Thankfully he had all of the things he needed to do the job on his truck already. 2. My final bill was $99 more than the estimate I was given. He explained that he had to add 2 hangers to pipes in the crawl space and that it took him longer than estimated to drain the pipes. I felt that an extra $99 was a little much for those 2 items. Overall, I was very happy and would definitely recommend them .

Our salesperson Sarah was on time and very professional. We decided on the Bryant Evolution system to replace our 11 year old air source heat pump and backup furnace. She scheduled installation within two days. Installers Mario and Jeff were at our home as scheduled and finished the installation by 2:00 the same day. They were friendly and professional and gave us instructions on the new system before they left. Overall all a very good experience.

An excellent experience from start to finish. Price, professionalism, and service were all top notch. We will be calling Peterman again for all our home HVAC & plumbing needs in the future.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The salesman Bob came out on-time and reviewed the work that needed to be done. I will note he did not look at the crawlspace of my home or make any notes regarding this facet. He gave me a quote and I received a supposed discount for being an Angie's List member and for paying directly, but it was still higher than previous quotes. They have a great automated system to keep you informed but I did not get a window of time prior to 10 am that day. I called the office and the employee's answering the phones were either really tired or need a raise cause their tone was not great. They told me I had an afternoon appointment and would call 30 minutes to showing up. The installers came out and were great guys! They did try to have me flush and reuse the lines for the same price which seemed a bit shady when the estimate was for new lines. The lines were over 30 years old and needed to be replaced. I eventually did convince them to install the new lines and they had some troubles getting into the crawlspace of my home. They were successful in replacing the lines and getting the unit installed. While no business is perfect, I think there is some room for improvement here in all the teams of their business.

Peterman replaced our entire sewer line in March, from the street and under the house. It's stressful enough to have an unexpected $10k sewer repair, but Peterman's unhelpful and unresponsive customer service has added to the stress. During the 2-day repair they left our sewer line unhooked for an entire 24 hour period, meaning our in-house plumbing ran into our yard that first evening. They told us that if we needed to use the toilet or shower, it would be no big deal to let it run into the yard. Big deal or not, it's not very dignifying for your family to flush waste into your yard and it's worse for them to act as if it wasn't a big deal. They also promised that they would only tear up about 4-6 feet of our yard with their pipe bursting replacement technology. Instead, they dug a trench that tore up 20-25' of our yard. Not a big deal, but it was misleading. What was a bigger deal is that the excavator they used to dig up our yard actually cracked our asphalt driveway in two places. It has been weeks since they said someone would contact us about it and no one has taken care of the problem yet. They also left the old, cast-iron sewer line under our house. They cut it out and just left it in the crawl space. We've asked repeatedly for someone to come take it and dispose of it properly but it hasn't happened. So, be warned that once they secure the job, their follow through and their customer service is not only bad, it is stressful to deal with. It seems like a very bureaucratic company that doesn't empower its employees to put the customer first and, as a result, they all want to pass you on to someone else in the company while your concerns never get addressed. We regret letting Peterman do the work.

This was a very nice experience. The two technicians who came were Ed and Ryan. They were very personable and professional, and good. This was the least amount of clean up I have ever had to do after having a plumber- I had none to do, in other words! That is a first! They were considerate about the house. They were also pleasant to have in my home. They both knew what they were doing and if I had questions, I was encouraged to ask them at any time. I actually did not have to ask them much about the process and install on the items as they explained things in a matter of fact and easy to understand method. Great team to work with, and would hire again.

Called Peterman to arrange a service call. They had a fantastic HVAC Service Technician on-site within about an hour. He certainly knew his stuff, was very thorough in his troubleshooting, and was able to resolve the issue in a fairly short amount of time. Everything was handled professionally, and honestly. They're now my HVAC service provider of choice.

It went fantastic. We built our home in 2006. We have had service agreements with about 2 HVAC companies for the last 12 years. NONE of them could figure out why the air conditioner wasn't working properly, UNTIL we hired Peterman. We paid those other companies various amounts of money to no avail. When a Peterman technician showed up they diagnosed and fixed the problem. Our system has run BEAUTIFULLY since then. We absolutely LOVE Peterman and will tell lots of people about them.

I'd give them five stars. Price and everything. I would recommend them.

EXCELLENT!!!! Basement drain was completely clogged (after 40+ years). After an attempt to clean and plunge drain, clean-out cap had to be chiseled out, line cleaned and new cap was installed. The whole process took 2+ hour. Cost of approx. 185.00 was very reasonable!!! Ed was the tech. He was extremely polite, thorough, knowledgeable, professional, very patient in explaining everything, presented options (with costs), and cleaned up after it all!

I’ve never had a project pulled together so timely and professionally before. The project lead/salesman, Solomon, orchestrated everything from sale to utility line marking to landscaping. He always kept me informed as to progress and explained what was going on. The fact that the landscaping crew showed up within 2 days after the drainage work was completed was also incredible. This company is definitely on my preferred list of contractors.

After unsuccessfully trying to fix a clogged drain ourselves we searched Angie's List for an emergency plumber. It was about 7pm on a Tuesday night and we couldn't wait any longer. I looked at a few plumbers and decided to call Peterman's. We reached an after hours answering service and they informed us the on-call tech would give us a call as soon as he could. About 20 minutes later Jon called and told us he would be out as soon as he could. With-in 2 hours he was at our house. He gave us a great price to clear the drain and even offered an amazing maintenance package. Jon was very professional and even at the late hour treated us like we were the most important customers he had seen for the day. He cleared the drain quickly and informed us that we would receive a call to schedule a follow up appointment to run a camera down the line to ensure there wasn't damage. The office reached out to me first thing this morning to schedule. He turned a "CRAPPY" situation into a quick painless process. I will use them in the future for all plumbing needs.

Purchased Quietside central air unit from Peterman for $2,600+ in 2012. Motor is failing now, just 6 years later. We are told by Peterman that these units have not been manufactured for several years and there are no parts available for repair. No option provided besides scrapping and purchasing entirely new unit. Multiple calls made to service manager about why that company's unit was sold in the first place, whether there are more repair options to explore, whether they are satisfied with only 6 years of life on a central air unit, etc. Calls not returned.

Easy to use. Prompt and didn’t push to buy what wasn’t needed

Lead Plumbing technician Drew Gomez gave me the initial quote to repair the leak in our condo slab. We awarded the job to Peterman when they agreed to do it immediately. Drew and helper Dan did an excellent job of getting to the leak under the slab in the laundry room and repairing. They minimized porcelain tile damage and did an excellent job.

Dave was excellent, he even worked in the rain to find the problem The unit is over 12 years old and sticker with model and serial number was not able to be read. He determined the problem and said that he could fix it but we ought to consider a new unit since the cost to repair is so high and the freon we use is no longer allowed after this year. We only paid for an evaluation.

Great, they were very responsive. They originally installed an AC unit in the spring and gave me a great price-match quote. AC was installed on time and properly. However, few months later AC unit was not working. They came out next day and inspected and saw that the heating unit which controlled the temp was not response. Since they couldn't replace the entire furnace that day, they rigged it up so that it would continually run and so that my renters could get AC on the next few hot days. No charge for that service. A week later they came out and replaced the entire unit and gave me a discount for being a returning customer. Absolutely will be using these guys in the future.
