Peterman s did an absolute wonderful job! The entire crew was professional. The job manager was present for quite a bit of the time the work was performed and was very knowledgeable when we asked questions. They were all very prompt and thoroughly cleaned up while they worked plus at the finish. I would not hesitate to use the company again!

In 2009, they installed a new heat pump and electric furnace, and they also cleaned our air ducts. When they came out, they did not have the necessary heat pump in stock, so they installed a better model heat pump at NO EXTRA charge. Everything went fine. Since then, we have had them come out for maintenance tune up. It is still operating fine. They also put in a new digital thermostat.

I am always happy when Peterman Heating and Cooling comes over to work on my electrical heating and cooling needs. I feel I can just trust them to be there for me if I need help. They are always prompt and tell me exactly what needs to be done. I have used them for the last 3 years.

When I first moved to Indianapolis and had a problem with a furnace, on a weekend, I contacted Peterman. The sales person, who is still with them, came out and told me I had to purchase a new furnace. I was quoted a very high price. It was during the winter and I had no choice, but to get it fixed. The next day I heard an advertisement on the radio stating the furnace that I just bought was being offered to the public for $500 less. I contacted Peterman and asked why I wasn't offered the price. To try to make a long story short, I asked for the old furnace to be returned to me. I called another company to check out the old furnace. This company told me I only needed a $100 part. There was no reason for me to purchase a new furnace. I contacted the Owner of Peterman and told them what I discovered. I was told "We have good sales people. You should never have signed the contract." The owner spoke to the employee and got back to me and they admitted that they got one over on me. They would not budge one penny. To make matters worse, they filed a lawsuit outside of the County where the property was located because they knew the Judge in that County and that he would be sensitive to their needs. The house was only 7 years old. They lied to the Judge and told him the furnace was more than 20 years old. I will never do business with Peterman and warn anyone out there to think twice. I don't care what kind of a comment they add to this. I can prove the court case and can give you the HVAC companies name & number to verify the furnace only needed a minor repair..

We had major problems with our installation but Peterman took care of all our problems and extended our warranty. We consider them very reputable and would do business with them again without question. We give them an A rating because they stepped up and did what was necessary to resolve our problems.

We have been very pleased with their prompt service over a period of many years on four different properties. They have replaced worn out furnaces and air conditioning units as well as providing ongoing maintenance.

Excellent customer service. Salesman (Tim) went over options thoroughly without trying to over sale, explaining pros and cons and how each compared to old system. Arranged install within week. (Not an emergency as other system was working.) Technicians (John and Mario) arrived on schedule. They were very professional. Work lasted about 6 hours. They made sure I understood everything and cleaned up thoroughly. Salesman stopped in early in work to check on progress and answer questions. They installed a couple of simple but very helpful extras including a user friendly filter box to accommodate regular filters. A huge improvement over my old system which required odd size filters. Communication throughout process from initial call to company to post installation was great. I highly recommend Peterman and will use them in the future.

My experience overall was good, the service was OK, but I felt they were overpriced. He was informative but he couldn't fix the problem. I appreciated the information that he gave but I am seeking another plumber at this time. He was knowledgeable and they responded right away, but I feel Peterman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing's pricing was a little high. I am still looking for another plumber, so I have nothing as of yet to compare them to, but for what they came out and did, I do not feel it was worth the amount of money that I was charged.

They were at our house within 1.5 hours of our original call, on what was likely one of their busiest service days/weekends in the history of the company. The service fee was extremely reasonable based on the circumstances and level of service provided.

I found out about the problem on Sunday, and they came out on Sunday. They were responsive to my request on the weekend and installed the sump pump for me. The plumber who came out did not fully test the new sump pump. The pump worked, but what I did not know is the sump pump had a broken piece. We did not realize about the broken piece because he did not test the pump fully. After I realized it I called the manufacture and they replaced the part. I called Peterman back again to replace the part and they did not respond right away. I called several times. I finally got talked to the manager and told him about the problem. He told me he would call me back but he never did and a week went bye. I had to fix the issue myself. I felt the price was expensive because the price was only for installation, it did not include the pump because I already had the new pump.

I cannot say enough good things about Peterman's Plumbing Service. My first contact with them was about 2 o'clock on a Friday afternoon, just when the really cold temperatures were starting and I had been dealing with trickling water for over a week. I was waiting on a call back from another plumber ( who had been highly recommended), but the call never came after several days and I panicked. I called Peterman's and spoke with Pam, who is in charge of scheduling for plumbing services. She scheduled a service call on Saturday and only charged me the week-day rate of $49! Three plumbers from Peterman's have been at my home and all three have been on time, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. There are still some plumbing fixes to be made, but the reasons I originally called Peterman's have have been resolved. I would highly recommend Peterman's for any plumbing issue. I feel confident that if they cannot fix the problem, they would refer you to someone who could...I believe they are that reputable.

It worked well. They were good and reliable. Everything worked fine. They came out the next day after I've purchased the deal. They found the problem quickly and fixed it.

They call us to schedule a time for the inspection. Their techs do a good job, are very neat, and are very thorough.

I was worried about a suspicious smell coming from heating unit. They did a complete check of system and cleaned it out of all the dust. The tech Larry was so friendly and helpful and gave me suggestions on how to keep the house warmer. I went ahead and purchased a second cleaning and check of air system come fall and got a discount for doing so. I have had a lot of bad experiences with other companies and so I am always skeptical, but peterman did not disappoint!

At first we had a scheduling issue. They were set to come out the day after we called (Friday) but no one came. I called and they woman in charge of scheduling figured out they had placed our appointment on the following Friday. She was VERY apologetic and so nice about the whole thing. She immediately scheduled us as first appointment on the following Monday morning. We really appreciated the EXCELLENT customer service. Scheduling mix ups happen all the time and they handled the whole situation wonderfully! On Monday, they showed up on time. It went very well! He was friendly and thorough. He explained everything he was doing and what the issue was. He made the necessary repairs and cleaned up. They called a few days later to make sure everything was still working properly. They did a wonderful job. We didn't feel like they overcharged or tried to find more things to charge us for. They just did their work and then willing to stand behind their work.

The two men came out and assessed the problem. Then began working to fix the pipe so I could have water again. I appreciated their professionalism. I also appreciate the way they cleaned up after themselves. They gave me recommendations about what I could do to help prevent freezing in this area again. I also appreciate that they let my dad watch and talk to them as they worked. My dad is 83 and he is use to doing my home repairs. This is one that he would have done in his younger days, but I felt it was too much for him. The plumbers really showed him respect and I very much appreciated that.

The serviceman was courteous, prompt, and performed the work in a timely manner. Although I described the work that needed to be done on the phone he had to go back for a service run for materials. This incurred an additional $40 fee which I wasn't expecting but by purchasing the deal Peterman's had on Angies List plus using the 10% coupon for plumbing job helped with the cost. when replacing the gas line, the repair person seemed unsure of what needed to be done but he contacted a more knowledgeable person and the job proceeded smoothly. I appreciated his honesty in having to ask more questions and verify the knowledge that he had. My home was cleaned up once the job was completed and water was checked to be sure that turning it off had not interrupted my service. I was very satisfied with this company.

At roughly 11:30pm on a Saturday night I discovered that our sump pump had become overwhelmed and the sump pit was backing up a bit. The back up alarm was going off so I went to the basement to reset it. When I knelt down to do so, I heard a hiss coming from the PVC pipe that was attached to both the sump pump and the drain line leading out of the house. After just a couple second of this hissing sound, the pipe fell off completely almost as if it were saying, "Forget this, I give up! No more water flowing through me!" After the pipe fell to the floor water immediately began shooting up like a fountain from the pump and at the same time water was cascading down to the basement floor from the drain pipe that exited the house through the basement wall. I say cascade, but it was more like a fire hose opened up from the wall shooting water on the basement floor Niagra-style. I called the first three advertising plumbers I saw on Angie's List- not because they were offering a coupon but because I know they are only allowed to advertise if they are one of the best of the best in the first place. Peterman was the third of my three calls and the first to respond after others gave me arrival times anywhere from 10-18 hours later. Craig was the individual who responded to my call. He said he lived just a few minutes away and would arrive directly, in about 15 minutes. True to his word, he showed up exactly 15 minutes later just as my indoor basement swimming pool was beginning to fill quite nicely and very rapidly. There were a couple of significant roadblocks that Craig encountered along the way that required what I would refer to as on-the-fly-expert-plumbing-engineering but ultimately Craig did everything he said he would. He showed up when he said he would, he did all he could to remedy the situation, he answered questions, provided me insight as to what to expect over the next several hours, and provided me with assurance that not only would all be well but that if it wasn't he would ensure that whatever remaining problems there might be that he would fix those as well. Craig estimated that there was roughly 3200 gallons of water in my basement and that the water line in the worst spots was nearly 6 inches and that in others it was as low as 2 inches; yes, our low water line was 2 inches high 50 feet away from the sump pit. After Craig left at 2:30am, I went to bed only to wake at 8am that same morning. When I checked on the basement, all standing water was gone, the pump was operating properly, and the new piping and seal were holding just as expected. Sure, the floor is still soaked but thankfully our unfinished basement is used primarily for storage and our minimal losses are mitigated by this fact. Needless to say, this was an emergency plumbing situation and Craig treated it as such going above and beyond every feasible notion of professionalism, urgency, and attention.
