The air conditioner was rusted. It was only good for 10 years and it was already 12 years ago. They have been taking care of the house since we bought it in 2004.

We had some communication issues. They ended up coming to my new address not my old address where I needed the work done. We were able to reschedule for a few days later at the correct address. They were very punctual. They replaced shut off valves for a washer.

I wanted to use Peterman Plumbing but changed my mind when heard that changing a toilet fill valve is over $200.00 plus a trip charge. Got another plumber to do the job for half the price. This was a disappointment because Peterman was responsive and prompt.

It turned out fine. I had them redo a shower. The first time, they sent one plumber; there was a miscommunication so they had to return. That time, they came back with 2 plumbers. They were at the home for an hour.

The job went well. He called to let me know when he was on his way, showed up a few minutes early, wrapped up the work in a timely manner, and solved the problem.

From beginning to end, getting our a/c replaced with Peterman was a great experience. All this thanks to Tim G, our super salesman! He explained things in an intelligent but easy to understand way, didn't try to sell me beyond what I asked for/needed, and followed up both on his own and when I had questions during the decision making process. The price and warranty were good, in-line with quotes from other reputable companies. The install happened quickly, and the installers were clean and professional. We had one major concern with the install, but it was dealt with quickly and therefore will be omitted. Tim G called while "out of town" (I suspect he was on vacation) to deal with my concern. He handled it quickly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and we are! Overall great, and I truly believe Tim made all the difference!

The guy came on time, was a nice, personable guy, and did the job well. My concern was that the Deal didn't waive the trip charge but was applicable only as a discount for $12.00. I felt the Deal was misrepresented and I would not have purchased it if they had informed me of this. Everything about their work was great, but I felt they should have waived the service fee as I was told. The coupon for 10% in the booklet is a better deal.

Chuck arrived on time and replaced the drain in our soaker tub in the master bath. He did a great job! We also has a leak in the guest bath and he was able to fix it even though it was an older faucet. He was professional and he knew what he was doing. I would call Peterman for any future plumbing projects!

Very well I set up an appointment and they were on time and got right to work. They found the problem and fixed it at a reasonable price.

On Sunday morning, I walked out into my garage to leave home to find water spewing from a pipe to my water softener and the garage halfway flooded. While I know how to turn off the water to my home, I was unable to get the nozzle to turn to shut it off. I searched Angie's List and found Peterman as the first company listed with an all A rating and an emergency contact number published. I called the number and left my information with the dispatcher. In just a few minutes, I received a call from the on-call plumber who was actually at another job site fixing someone else's emergency. In just a few sentences describing what was happening, the gentleman asked what brand of water softener that I have. When I told him the brand, he immediately said "I am sorry, m'am, but that company does not allow us to work on their softeners. If I work on it, and something isn't right, it will void any warranty that you might have on the system" In other words, he was not going to be able to come and fix the real problem. When I asked if he could help me to get the water turned off to my house, he did everything he could on the phone, including instructing me how to turn it off at the meter which is underground in the front yard of my house. He was on another job so could not just drop things and come to my aid at that moment. Once he instructed me on all the things to try, we hung up the phone, and I figured that our business was over. About 40 minutes later, after he finished the emergency job he was on, he called back just to make sure that I had been able to get the water to stop flowing. I was happy to tell him that I had been able to shut off the softener which stopped the leaking. I very much appreciated the return call to make sure I did not have water spewing all over the place at that point. Regardless of whether or not the company could fix the problem, it was very considerate of this worker to take a few minutes to make sure things were okay. If I have plumbing needs in the future, I will put Peterman's at the top of my list to call simply based on the respect and consideration given to me by this one plumber. I do regret to say that I did not make note of the gentleman's name so that I could mention it in this review.

Great, Technician was very professional, checked the a/c for any issues fixed what was wrong and got my system up and running. Will definitely call again.

I purchased the companies offer on Angie's List for A/C tune up and cleaning because we wanted a professional to tell us we are good to go for the summer. The company contacted me right away and got us on the schedule. The company sent out a fantastic tech that cleaned and serviced our A/C unit and gave us the thumbs up for the summer season. I've used other contractors in the past and I didn't call them back because it didn't feel right. This company was FANTASTIC. The office personnel were great and the techs are knowledgeable and personable. Peterman Heating and Cooling's phone number is now on my fridge. They earned my business by not only knowing their profession but by knowing how to treat people.

Professional and friendly, wore shoe covers when inside, explained what they did and the results and status of unit, advised on other offerings but not high-pressure. Have been servicing my HVAC for 15+ years and installed current system.

The tech said no problem and only had to pay for service call. Honest !

After receiving the original quote from Bob Herron, I decided to go with Peterman. When I called to set up an installation date, I was thinking 2-3 weeks. Bob said they could do it in 4 days. The morning of the the installation, the crew(John, Mario and Wayne) arrived on time and got to work. They disconnected and removed the old units and started installing the new. John did the A/C and return air duct fabrication, Mario did the furnace and Wayne did the duct cleaning. They started about 8am and were done by 2pm. I am happy with the way the new furnace and A/C perform, and have had no problems or complaints.

First time they came for the bathtub issue they could not figure out what the problem was. The leak that we had seen that had caused damage to the ceiling (bathtub is on a second floor) could not be reproduced. I paid the service fee but had no solution (days later I was able to find the issue and fix it on my own)... Second time they were called they were able to perform the shower head replacement and water softener leak repair flawlessly. Great job. On both occasions the plumbers were very professional and exhibited great knowledge of their craft. I was very pleased with the service... Only thing I would have liked to see was a waive to one of the service fees... I agree with them charging a fixed amount just to come over, but given the fact that the first time they were unable to find the issue it would have been nice to not have to pay for it again when I called the second time... This is one of those things that would have applied to this specific situation... Overall it was a good service and wouldn't hesitate to use this vendor again.

Perfect! They came out the next day and gave me a quote that was almost half of the other quotes I had gotten. I scheduled them and they arrived on time and got right to work. They were done and cleaned up in just 2 hours! Both Adam and Craig we're nice, professional and tidy. I will hire them again and recommend them to everyone!

They installed a new water heater for us. Everything turned out great!

They came out to help with a plumbing issue with a toilet. I had them back out later that week for a leaky outside faucet. The same representative came both times. I think he did a good job. He seemed knowledgeable about the two different things he took care of. He also tried to explain things to me while he was doing them. He was on time and cleaned up after himself before leaving.

They put in a new A/C. I had him come out to service the heater and when he came out I asked him to check the A/C and he told me that it wasn't his category, but that he could and he let me know that it could stop at any time. I appreciated that. They are always polite and professional.

Peterman Heating and Cooling has serviced our home for years. Their employees are professional. We have their plan which allows emergency service on holidays while avoiding holiday rates. In 11 years we had needs on July 4 with sweltering heat and Christmas Day with freezing temperatures. We recommend Peterman Heating and Cooling

Great job. Fixed the problem without having to replace the entire unit Theirs was the lowest estimate and the furnace has kept working for 2 winters now
