Our garage door had slowly been deteriorating. Eventually, a few of the panels had broken and the supporting struts were bent. We called Overhead and they showed up that same day to give us an estimate. They did not try to steer us towards the most expensive options and gave us a wide spectrum of choices to choose from. He said the tracking was good and opener was good and only recommended we replace the door panels. He came out the next day, aligned our sensors, even helped us reprogram the remotes and homelink system in our vehicle. Fantastic job!

I called Overhead Orthopedics in quite a panic because my garage door had fallen off part of the track on one side and was hanging precariously above one of our vehicles. I spoke with the owner, Jeff Mowery, and he said he could come right over. He was at my house in approximately 45 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and began to fix the door. I was in a time crunch because I needed to get my son to a birthday party, so I paid him in full before the work was complete and left him to finish the job. I was very pleased with his quick and professional service. The garage door opens and closes so quietly now. He offered a 1 year parts and 90 day labor warranty. I would definitely recommend Overhead Orthopedics to my friends and neighbors. They will now be my "go to" company for when I need further work done on my garage door. Wonderful overall experience.

The owner is Jeff Mowery and he did a great job. He was on time and very knowledgeable. He is very careful and treats your home like his own and I appreciated that. He is just a very sincere guy and he has been in the business for 20-25 years. He is there when you need him. I am very happy to recommend him and I have recommended him too.

He charged a flat rate for the services, no extra charges after the initial phone estimate. It was much less than other quotes I had received. He was on time, called before he arrived, personable, and thought he did a fabulous job.

Jeff Mowery was very professional in estimating this job and doing the installation. The job included removing the old track and a very heavy wood door. The trim around the door also had to be replaced. I am very pleased with the quality of his work and the new garage door.

On Friday my garage door wouldn't open. I wasn't sure what the problem was as the opener seemed to operate. I thought it might be a problem with the door itself although the coil wasn't broken. Since this company had Saturday hours listed, I called early Saturday morning and explained my problem. Jeff said he could stop buy at 11:00 to take a look. He came right on time and found that the motor was bad on the opener. Since he couldn't get a new opener on Saturday I arranged for him to come on Monday. He was on time and it only took about an hour to install the new opener. I really appreciated his willingness to stop by on Saturday and his ability too install the new opener promptly on Monday.

We called Jeff late on Tuesday afternoon and made an appointment for the next morning. He came at the agreed time and it turns out he knows Chamberlains very well. He did the fine tuning our garage door needed and then did some routine maintenance - adjusted the rails and lubed the rollers. He explained how to do some extra programming of the opener as well.

My son backed the car into our wooden garage door, cracking it near the bottom. I tried to repair it, but it didn't close smoothly, and I could tell the tension wasn't right. Jeff came out the same day I called him. He assured me they do this type of work all the time. He was able to put a metal brace near the bottom, which made it very secure. He made sure the tension was right so there was no binding when it closes. He also checked tightened, adjusted, and lubricated everything...even though we didn't specifically ask for this. Now the garage door closes more smoothly than it ever has.

My garage door has been opening by itself for a few months, so I phoned Overhead Orthopedics just after 9AM today and spoke to Jeff the owner and told him the problem. He told me he was in my area and would be at my home within the hour. Very quickly he ascertained the problem and fixed it there on the spot and then serviced the door and my other garage door. He has given a 90 day warranty on the work he performed today, so if there are anymore problems with the door I just give him a call. I am totally amazed by his professionalism and the service he gave for an unbelievable price. I certainly didn't expect to have a fully working garage door today let alone before lunch time, thank you!! I've already spoken to friends and recommended Jeff to them.

When my power went out, I closed and locked my garage door manually. The power returned and the next time I went out, I pressed the button for the operner. Since I had locked the door manually, the opener strained to open but could not. The chain came off the pulley and a sprocket sprang loose. The door no longer would open. Also, when I opened it manually, it didn't want to stay up far enough. After checking out prices of opener repairs vs. replacing the opener vs. replacing the door and opener, I decided to go with the basic repair job. I called Overhead Orthopedics on a Friday evening. Jeff Mowery answered his cell and the poor guy was on the side of the road, having just had his truck rear-ended. I called again Saturday and he inspected the opener. Basically I had ruined it; he said it would cost almost as much to repair the circuit board as it would to replace the whole opener (which was 15 years old anyway.) Even though he sells openers, too, he told me I could buy my own if I wanted. He said chain drives are more reliable than belt drives although noisier. He also mentioned a current sale at a big box home improvement store and agreed to come back after I purchased one. I bought an opener at the big box that day, and Jeff returned Sunday morning(!) to install it. He has done so many installations that he zipped right through it. When he was ready to install the safety sensors, the brackets were missing from the box (the opener's box apparently had been purchased and returned before I bought it.) He had some brackets of his own and used those. We agreed I would get replacements from the big box to give to Jeff. I did that and left the brackets in the agreed upon location but he never came back for them...I guess he has plenty! Jeff also adjusted the garage door's tension spring at no extra cost...and that's something only a professional should do, so I was glad he offered. I am very happy with his work, speed, friendliness, honesty, etc. and his price. I appreciate having a knowledgeable person do the work and also not being pushed into buying a certain product. The ONLY negative thing I can think of to say, is that he plays country music (gag!) on his radio while he works! ;-)

I don't know if this could have gone better, I really don't. He is the whole reason Angie's List exists. His quality will compete with any large company and his price is half as much. I was in shock at how much the final bill was. One other company (a large one) came out to give us a quote and it was over $4,000...and they asked me and my wife to do the handyman work AND remove the doors. Jeff did it all with a smile and knocked it out in a day. Now my garage is fully functional and I have Jeff to thank. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience.

We were having some windows installed by Mr. Window. One of the installers called to my attention that some of the hinges were broken on my 18 year old door. He recommended Overhead Orthopedics. He installed an exact color match to my old door, and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. My heating bills are now less.

He came out within 2 hours of us calling him. He was super nice and came rapidly. He told us that our garage door had been installed incorrectly. It could be fixed easily but he could not do it that day, because he had other appointments. He did a good job and worked fast. His price was much less than we expected.

Jeff was fabulous. He responded immediately and quickly diagnosed the problem. Other providers had told us we needed an entire new system, including overhead bar. But Jeff showed us that all components were in operable condition after replacing gear, and with proper lubrication the system should have years of service life. He was honest, competent, quick, and reasonably priced. This is how business should be conducted! And without Angie's List we never would have found him.

I would use them again, if needed.

I contacted Jeff on a Saturday and explained my situation, that the garage door had been put down on top of our car, the door did not stop, and it was bent in the shape of a "V". He showed up the following Monday, explained that he could repair the door, but it was in such bad shape, it would not look good even after he did the repairs. He gave me a quote on a new insulated garage door, much better than the current door we had. After doing some price checking, I realized he was very competitive and I like doing business with owner operated businesses. He came the following day, installed the new garage door, took the old door away and was finished exactly as he said he would be. I love my new garage door.

I had him out twice and I would highly recommend him. He was not only very prompt, but he was early. There was something that wasn?t quite fixed to my satisfaction and he came out 2 weeks later and fixed it and didn?t charge me.

We have actually had to call Jeff twice for service this month. Within 19 days, BOTH of our garage doors had broken springs! For the first one, Jeff provided the replacement spring and my husband installed it himself. Yesterday when my husband arrived home from work at 5 p..m., we noticed the springs on the double garage door were broken. This is Christmas week; we're leaving town the next day. We called Jeff and left a message. He contacted us within 20 minutes and arranged to come out the next morning at 9 a.m. He promptly arrived at 9:00 and within 30 minutes both springs were replaced and the door was operational. Jeff's personal, prompt, quality service is terrific!

I would highly recommend them. They did not use the most expensive solution. He was very good and suggested that there was no need to replace my garage door. He also came back when something was not working and took care of it. I would use him again.
