Description of Work: I had a spring break on one of my garage door openers. Jeff came out the same day I called him to replace it. At the same time he noticed my other garage door wasn't running very smoothly, so he proceeded to work on it AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. Quite honestly, he spent about as much time on the second door as he had on the first AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! He completely lubricated both door's rollers and springs and replace three of the rollers (at a paltry $3 per roller). I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. As he was leaving I told him that I was a regular Angie's List user, but I confessed that I haven't always been real diligent in taking the time to write reviews. However, his extra effort was so impressive, I assured him that he could bet the ranch that I'd be taking the time to give him a "Gold Star A+" rating. Overhead Orthopedics is absolutely the top of the food chain in my book!

Description of Work: Had a fantastic experience! Jeff replaced our garage door opener last week. Jeff was honest about what we needed, and his price was the best, too! He was able to come out quickly to help with our problem. He also got our existing key pad to work, and didn't try to up charge us with buying a new one. Will absolutely recommend him!

Description of Work: Garage door spring had broke. Our house was built in 1955 and original garage door spring broke. Jeff installed a new spring, lubricated parts and ensured door working appropriately prior to leaving. He was very professional and did a nice job.

Description of Work: Our ca. 1996 Sears garage door opener quit working (motor ran, made usual noise, door did not move). Their guy determined that the grease on a plastic gear had dissipated, thus stripping the teeth off of it. He replaced the gear, lubricated it, adjusted the settings, oiled rollers and bearings, etc. He also told me how to lube the replacement gear every five years to prevent the same thing happening in the future. (original instruction manual for the opener failed to mention anything about lubricating this gear). I'm planning on lubricating this gear every leap year.

We also had some rubber flashing at the bottom of the garage door that had been eaten by a squirrel or chipmunk. This left a gap which could let mice and so forth into the house. He also noticed a crack in one of the garage doors, which needed a support. Jeff came out within hours of my wife's call and took care of all of these needs.

I CALLED JEFF MOWERY LATE IN THE DAY (7 PM) AND HE CAME OVER TO MY HOUSE TO LOOK AT THE DOOR AND MEASURE THE SPRINGS. HE THEN TOLD ME THAT BECAUSE I HAVE A VERY HEAVILY USED 8 FOOT DOOR, THE SPRINGS THAT WERE REPLACED IN THE PAST WERE NOT GOING TO LAST VERY LONG. HE WAS RIGHT, I HAVE REPLACED THEM ABOUT EVERY 3 YEARS. I SCHEDULED A TIME TO HAVE JEFF BACK THE NEXT MORNING AT 11 AM. HE WAS PROMPT AND CALLED TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY. JEFF REPLACED THE SPRINGS AND DID NUMEROUS OTHER ADJUSTMENTS AND LUBRICATED BOTH GARAGE DOORS.
