I requested refund, they told me how to go about doing that thru Angies List.

Purchased a "Big Deal" for $139.00. I do not have experience with pricing an asphalt sealing drive- so I am unsure if $139.00 is 'good' deal'. Therefore the "B" on pricing. The driveway is not in disrepair, is a 2-car width, is straight and level and less than 1000 sq ft. I was contacted and scheduled in a timely way- around the recent rain storms. The day of the sealing, no one had called me, so I phoned to confirm they were going to do the work today. I was told they'd be starting closer to 1pm, due to wanting the drive to dry out. I reported the drive was already dry, but that information did not change their estimated arrival time. Due to a last minute work obligation, I needed to be gone during part of the service window and I left a note at the front door explaining I would be back, hopefully before they began and for sure before they would be finished. When I returned, 2 men were present and were working. Neither introduced himself and the pick up truck with attached work trailer was not marked with any type of a company sign. I was told the debris on the drive was blown off and the border of the drive was being done first. No repair work on the crumbling edge of the drive was performed. I wondered it that was part of the package, since the $139.00 was the higher priced deal Stephens had offered. Apparently it was not. I did ask if they could also seal the asphalt at the very end and slight curve of the driveway. This leads to an asphalt cul-du-sac road. I was told no because that was part of the road. I was hoping they would consider sealing the area too, as it collects rainwater and become a muddy puddle eyesore until the water finally sinks in. So, the job was done and was a basic sealing job. It turned out fine.

All good! Scheduled appointment. They arrived on time and ready-to-go. They cleaned our concrete driveway, and for an additional charge, they cleaned our concrete sidewalk and front stoop. (The charge was per sq. foot, and I cannot recall the amount; it must have been reasonable, though, or I would not have agreed.) The concrete had not been cleaned in years and was very discolored. When the cleaning was complete, the driveway, sidewalk, and stoop looked so good. We are very pleased with their work, and we would use them again.

I hired another more professional company.

It turned out well. They did the job and did it well.

It was a good deal coming in, but they actually measured more space, so it was like $240 more, and I asked them what I would receive with the sealing, they said that their protection would keep the color, but I haven't noticed all that. The pressure washing was good, I am not sure about the sealing yet. He said that it was more of a long term thing to protect the cement. The big deal sounded good, but when they came out they said they needed to have more done.

The company kept rescheduling to perform services and they continued to not show up or call to let me know. I did not end up using the big deal.

I used Stephens in July of 2012. A year ago he was driving by the house and noticed "stripes" in the drive. He contacted us and said he would come back and take care of it. i replied that they were not his fault, but a result of the blade on the snow removal truck. I was impressed that: a) he noticed what he saw as a defect; b) he contacted us to offer a correction. He contacted me earlier this year asking if we wanted the drive done. We set the date to do it last week.He is professional in his contacts, he has proper equipment and is careful and exacting in his work. I will use him again.

They came out when they said they would and overall it went ok. I saw them do the pressure washing but didn't see the rest or really notice a difference. They were responsive enough and we had no issues with scheduling. However, again, I'm not really sure what difference it's made so I don't think I'd use them again.

He didn’t show up for either of the two dates we had work scheduled. He never called to let me know he wouldn’t come. I decided to use another company because he hasn’t made an effort to reschedule.

Job was quick with good results. Had good communications with regards to scheduling.

They came when they said they would. They did what they said they would. They were good. They completed the work in less than a half hour. They did some patching of the driveway and the pricing for the deal was average.

They were supposed to also edge the driveway before power washing, but they neglected to do so. I did not catch it until afterward. The power washing was spotty; some areas were done very well, others very streaked. I asked the technicians to pay extra attention to the bottom of the driveway near the street since it was beginning to pit and I wanted to make sure it was sealed properly. I was not present when they sealed the driveway, but it did not appear they completely sealed that area since it was not shiny like most of the rest of the driveway. In addition, the winter wreaked havoc on that area which tells me what they did put down was not effective. The gentlemen were courteous and prompt, but that did not make up for the quality of the job. I will not hire this company again.

They said the next time they were out by me they would call me and give me the estimate. My driveway was around 1600 ftt and the price would be $240.00. I called to let him know that I would not be able to afford the work right now because I am waiting for my neighbor to get the money to me. I told Stephens that and he said that there would be a $30 service call price for coming out to give me the estimate. In addition I got a letter letting me know there would be this $50 service call charge and then a late fee of $35 if I do not pay it by the 27th of this month. He never mention this service fee or late fee when I contacted them to come out and give me an estimate. If they had told me this in advance I would not have asked them to do the estimate. I do not plan to pay this as it was not mentioned earlier.

Sealing was done while client was not home. Stephens cleaned up after finishing and owner did not see any mess. Stephens has sealed driveway in past and owner has been satisfied.

It went well; I would highly recommend Tyler's work. They worked industriously and efficiently inviting me to observe /critique as I wanted to on each step of the process. I chose Tyler in part because his price was @$500 less than another provider's quote and $1200 less than a third provider who had a $2100. minimum. Also, he provides an additive called Shark Grit to the sealer to prevent the surface from being overly slick when wet.;that was appealing to me because the front sidewalk can be slick underfoot ; I liked that assurance of more safety. It does not impact the appearance, however. I enjoy having a revitalized driveway. I feel confident he would return if there were any concerns on my part.

Had a couple delays based on weather and availability of asphalt, but minor. Kept in contact the whole time.

They did a great job. They showed up on time and on the date we scheduled. The work was done well and they were professional.

Set up two appointment dates, one to wash the driveway, one do seal. Waited half a day both days, they never showed up. Contacted them and they said they forgot, and could maybe reschedule next week, but rain forecasted. Also looked more at reviews, and this has happened many times, and seems to have led to outright arguments with customers. Vendor insulted customers in Angies List reviews (e.g. "Customer is plain ignorant""). Decided I don't want to deal with such a vendor after similar trouble.

Tyler came to house to look at the job of repairing front patio. He informed me that he would not be able to do what was needed that he only does walkways. The deal description led me to believe that concrete patio repair was something that this company did or I would not have purchased the deal.

Services not performed, and no explanation or contact from vendor.

This company was great! very prompt and courteous! The work was excellent, they watched to make sure, if it wasn't they went over it again. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again!

I called to inform him that we bought the deal. He came out next day to see the pot hole and repaired it a few days later. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Great job!

We have a very big driveway. They did a great job! It looked like it had been painted. They had two people who were very professional.
