Response from My Guy Services
The member had purchased our Big Deal for 119 which included concrete pressure washing and sealing up tp 500 square feet. We responded immediately and scheduled the job Thursday, January 26 at 10 a.m. We arrived to the job around 9:55 as scheduled and proceeded to measure the square footage. We then gave the member a call to inform him that he has stamped concrete verses regular concrete. In our Big Deal fine print, it states that "stamped concrete is not included" because the cost of sealer is about 4 times the cost. We then proceeded to try and explain this to the member. He could not grasp that there is a difference in sealer cost. We requoted him Big Deal prices as if we were using Stamped concrete sealer which was about a $100.00 in additional cost, a savings of about 50%. After the explanation, we could not come to mutual agreement. The member asked us for a refund. Then, we received this report. We at Stephens concrete take our Angie's List reports very seriously. I do not believe this report reflects our companies image. We were on time, professional, responsive, but unable to come to an agreement. There was a simply a misunderstanding about the fine print. In all fairness, we contacted the member and reflected on the report. The member said we deserved an F because we were unable to come to an agreement to do the work. Once again, as a company we were responsive, professional, and did everything we could to exceed expectations for this customer. We also followed up with Angies List to ensure this customer received his refund in a timely manner.
