They did have to reschedule a couple times but they did get out here to do the work and overall I would say it went very well.

He was on-time and professional. The powerwashing and sealing of the concrete was done timely and well and the brick paver sealant looks amazing.

They were very efficient and professional and the driveway looks very nice.

Found Stephens w/ a groupon. I contacted them shortly after the groupon purchase. I had to leave a message, which initially had me wary, but this isn't too uncommon w/ smaller operations after issuing a groupon - as they tend to get slammed w/ business - which is the point. They called me back in a reasonable amount of time and scheduled me in. They called to check in a couple times prior to the date/time which I like. They arrived on time, got right to work and did a fine job. I found Stephens to be professional, punctual, no-nonsense, helpful, informative, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. Thanks again guys!!!

He was very knowledgeable, honest, and even took money out of his pocket by recommend I don’t use his service which I really appreciated. He even offered to refer me to someone who can do the work and was very clean and courteous.

The two owners were efficient and professional. They were on time and completed job within quoted price plus some extra work. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

The driveway was extremely dirty and now it looks great. I did use a groupon and saved about $100 on my very large driveway. Because of the groupon, it took them 2 days to call me back to schedule a time.

I thought it was expensive but they did an excellent job. They driveway looks good and they were good communicators; they kept in touch with me all during the process and were on time to do the job.

We took advantage of Angie's Big Deal and called for Tyler Stephens to come wash and seal our driveway. It occurred at a time when it was raining a lot. However, he kept in touch with us and we scheduled the work. The rain made rescheduling necessary, but Tyler was very agreeable and we eventually completed the job. However, Tyler came to check things out and realized our driveway was two connecting driveways because we live on a corner. He explained that the deal offered by Angie's List covered only 700 sq. ft. and ours was an additional 1250 sq. ft. We accepted his offer to do the entire job for $250 more which we thought was reasonable. He noticed that one of the aprons at the end of the driveway needed repair. He recommended someone who did small jobs and offered to return after it was finished and seal that part of the driveway for no extra cost. And HE DID! He was very good natured--when it rained while he was scrubbing the driveway. He was soaked and laughing when he completed that part of the job for the day. He was very courteous and careful with our landscaping along the driveway. He arrived when he said he would and even offered to take away debris left by another contractor. We couldn't have asked for better service. We would like to recommend him for an award.

They were really nice. There was an area that he needed to come back and re-do, which he did. The customer service piece was very good.

Everything was great. Tyler came out several weeks ago to measure and to give me a date they would come out to do the work. They were there on the date and time he gave me. Very efficient.

Went well. There was rain during that time that delayed getting the sealing done. But he kept me informed of when to expect him.

I initially saw and purchased their Exterior Home Pressure Washing deal in Angie's List for $149 on March 28, 2012. The information I received from Angie's List was to contact them in order to schedule them to come out to do the work. I called and left a message, and received a call back within a few days. I was informed that they were still out in Arizona doing their "winter work", but would be back in the Indy area the following week. Tyler mentioned that his sister would contact me the following week, which would have been the first week in April. I did not hear anything from them at all during the first week in April. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and was going to wait until the following week. On April 10th, I finally received an email from Catie. This email was obviously sent to everyone who purchased the Big Deal from Angie's List. The email stated: Hello! We at Stephens Concrete Sealing would like to thank you again for your Big Deal purchase! We are in the process of scheduling the large volume of jobs we received from this big deal by location. If we have not contacted you yet, it is because we are not currently scheduling your area but please be patient, we will contact you this week! Also, if you have not done so, could you please specify in response to this email whether you request driveway sealing or home powerwashing. The scheduling for these two options is slightly different because our home sealing must be done in the appropriate whether conditions. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us! I immediately replied to the email, as requested, with my name, telephone number, and complete address here in Greenfield, Indiana. So, I waited the rest of that week, and even the following week. I never heard from Tyler or Catie from the date of the email (April 10th) until April 21st! Almost a whole month has passed, and nothing was scheduled. So, I decided to finally reach out and contact the company. I made a phone call & left a message on Sunday evening, April 22nd. I wanted to hear something soon, either to schedule an appointment, or to request a refund. After a couple of additional calls and messages left on Monday, Tyler finally called me to schedule an appointment that week, on Thursday morning, April 26th, at 10am. That was fine with me. During that phone call, I clarified with him that the house that needed powerwashing was in Greenfield. However, with all of the rain on Wednesday, Tyler called that evening to reschedule. I said that was fine also. He rescheduled the powerwashing for Thursday, May 3rd, at 9am. I was looking forward to the work being done, as there is a lot of dirt and even some algae on the siding. And it has been over a month since I purchased their powerwashing service. Then, on Thursday, the day of the appointment, Tyler was having some problems finding my home. After a couple of calls, and discovering that he was on the westside of Indianapolis instead of being in Greenfield, he said that he would not powerwash our house, because we were out of his service area. He said this, in spite of the fact that on their Angie's List profile, it clearly states: Service Area We Service All Of Indianapolis and Surrounding Counties As Well. Greenfield is in Hancock County, which is immediately east of Indianapolis. Tyler said he was not willing to take a loss by driving out to do this job. He did offer to contact Angie's List for a complete refund, which I anticipate receiving in the next day or so. However, this does not compensate for the time and effort required by me to have him come and perform his service on our house. Others may have had a different experience with Stephen's Concrete, but this has been mine. I am extremely disappointed with the company, especially with their "customer service." To cancel on the day that you were scheduled to do the service, because it is an inconvenience & "a loss" to the company, is no way to run a business. The location of my home in Greenfield was clearly given to them, both on the telephone and by email. I informed Tyler that I would be writing this review about the company. He did apologize several times, and did call Angie's List about a refund. But, it is still very frustrating to have everything canceled on the day of the service, especially after having very little contact with the company for an entire month prior.

5/9/12 update: Tyler informed me that he had had a family emergency that had prevented him from contacting me on or near the initially agreed upon time. 5/5/12 update: did get a quote from Tyler today. Still not clear on why he hadn't previously called when he said he would in early April to provide a quote. His quote was the lowest but I will not be going with him as I've already scheduled someone else to do the work. Never heard back from Tyler nor anyone else.

Overall experience was adequate and somewhat worth the cost. Not sure I'll get it done with the company again though.

I graded them only fair on responsiveness and punctuality because they messed up the scheduling initially, confirming me for the wrong date, but he did fit me in later in the day that I expected him, so it was not a big problem, after all. I very much appreciated his conscientiousness, as I mentioned, and I was very pleased with the work he did.

It went well and the principals of the company were trying hard to accommodate our needs at a reasonable price.

The Groupon price only covered 1/2 of our driveway and extra charge was requested. My wife told me that the charge was about $100 more. Then he pressure washed the front patio area and charged another $100- a job I could have done myself in 15 mins or less with my $120 Costco equipment. Had I been home, I would have declined the pressure wash on the front patio area. We paid $200 plus the Groupon purchase.

I think he did okay. I may have him come out to do some follow up work.

It was hard to tell if they actually did anything. The rust marks remained.

We are trying to get the house spiffed up good to put it on the market. Tyler did an excellent job of cleaning out all the gutters. The deck which is not wood but a composite material that acquires a heavy green mold over the cold months, now looks brand new after his pressure washing job. Ditto for how the driveway looks - it had been stained last year by a dark mulch that sat on it for about a week. I am very happy with Tyler's work.
