Description of Work: I contacted the company because of concerns about a bad smell in the water. The serviceman called to let me know that he would be a bit late, then arrived at the time he said he would be there. I was impressed that he was honest in his assessment that the smell was the result of issues with city water, and that he didn't perform work that was not needed, nor did he try to sell me products that weren't needed. He only charged me the $30 fee for the service call. If ever I have a serious plumbing problem, this is definitely the company I will call.

Description of Work: The lower level drains in our house backed after heavy rains. Called on Metzler due to Angie's info & reputation. They were concerned, prompt, and listened carefully to my problem description. A man named Richard showed up, listened again, confirmed the problem by testing, then cleaned my outside line to the street, and tested again to confirm it was OK. He was friendly, pleasant, cleaned as he went, and left no mess or clean-up behind for us. Great service!

Description of Work: I have used Metzler multiple times for basic plumbing and maintenance needs. On this particular occasion, I had a broken garbage disposal. They advised me over the phone, based on my description, to not bother paying the price for a service call and to replace the disposal. My uncle replaced it, and the next day the dishwasher started to back up. When I called Metzler back, they again, helped me over the phone. Their assessment of the problem was 100% correct, and once again saved me the money of the service call! They walked me through how to fix it (and I know nothing about plumbing!)
