Moving Dawgs

NotI purchased a "deal" from Angies list for 4hrs of moving which would be 2 men for 2 hours. I called to secure our moving date. At this time I was told all the details, such as how long it would take for the move and my responsibilities such as removing ligght bulbs and covering the mattress. I appreciated this. This way there would be no surprises on moving day. On moving day Aaron and Brandon called to see if they could arrive 15 minutes early. This was certainly fine. They arrived, explained the paperwork and began. It was awesome. They were always polite and professional. Not one thing was damaged and the move went smoothly and quickly. It was a very pleasant move. All we had to do was watch and let them know where to place everything at the new place. We were all very pleased with MovingDawgs and do not hesitate to recommend them highly.

They arrived a half hour after the scheduled time, they did call to let me know their estimated time of arrival. They worked really quickly to move the furniture out of the old house and into the new house. I have a very narrow staircase to the upstairs in the new house and they were able to get most of the furniture up there that we were hoping to get up there. It was a great experience and the helped the move.

I had a great experience with Moving Dawgs. They call when they were on their way, which gave me a heads up and to finish up my last minute packing. When they showed up, they looked around and planned what would be best to move out first. They were extremely professional and worked very quickly. I felt horrible because I lived on the second floor of my apartment building and the staircases were very narrow, but they took it like champs. When we got to my new house, they had the truck unloaded in 30 minutes and had everything exactly where I wanted it. They even took the time to help me fix my annoying fire alarm that would not stop beeping. I would 100% use Moving Dawgs again for any moving or junk removal needs I have.

The guys were very courteous and diligent workers. I was pleased with the work and their attitudes.

It was SUPERB! I bought a Big Deal as they were highly rated and it was an outstanding value. The gentlemen called before arrival as promised, showed up on time and were exceptionally kind to work with. They were prompt, efficent and stellar at their job. The coupon ($135) offered 4 man hours and a truck, however, they didn't have a truck available and we had to rent our own moving truck. There was not availability to substitute for the lack of a truck, nor were there offers to discount the price. What we ended up receiving was 4 man hours at $135. The movers called 10 minutes prior to arrival time to let us know that they would arrive 45 minutes late citing that they were arriving from the SW side of Indy (we were in NE side), however, I wish they would have planned their time better so we didn't lose 45 minutes of our time. When they arrived, we learned that the movers were actually from the Junk Dawgs side, not the Moving Dawgs side which did make a difference since they had much less experience with moves and relied on us for guidance on how to pack the truck. The lead rep, Ryan, was very good and professional, however, the other, Austin was not at all. He spent time looking at his phone at the beginning of the job to the point that we finally asked him to put his phone away, to which he replied that he was texting with his boss because he was in trouble. Turns out, when the crew was en route to our job, they had some issues with their driving, and Austin joked with Ryan that he would just tell his boss that he was drunk. The crew needed a lot of direction for a service that we thought should have been more professionally and efficiently completed. Our advice to potential customers would be to double check to see which crews are available to service your move and specify that you want the Moving Dawgs crew, not the Junk Dawgs crew.

Interaction was professional and prompt in scheduling the work. I was to meet the movers at the storage unit at 2:30p. I waited until 2:50p. When no one arrived by that time, I went back home. Just as I got home, the mover called me. He was very apologetic explaining that the first move of the day was taking much longer than expected. He called me back when they were leaving to meet me. There were two movers - they introduced themselves and apologized again for the delay. They were pleasant and very careful not to damage anything as they packed the truck. Once at my home, they were able to quickly move everything from the truck to my garage. The move went very smoothly besides the delay. I would definitely use Movie Dawgs again.

Our move was scheduled with Moving Dawgs at their convenience for August 6. I had paid $80 for an Angie's List Deal. They called to reschedule the time at least once. On the day of the move, both of us in the household developed intestinal flu or food poisoning and were unable to function. When I called to ask to reschedule, the man at Moving Dawgs said they would come anyway. I insisted that we were too sick. He insisted again and I repeated that we were very sick and I needed to hang up. He said said OK. Then someone called back to tell me that when we rescheduled, there would be an additional $100 fee. I was too sick to argue. The next day when I checked me email, I discovered that Moving Dawgs had charged my account (the one I had used to pay for the Angie's LIst deal) an additional $100. This $100 surcharge may be in the fine print of the "special deal" somewhere, but surely illness is a good reason to cut a customer some slack! I will never use Moving Dawgs under any circumstances.

Everything was excellent. They were professional and courteous in setting up the appointment. WHen they arrived, they were also professional and made everything easy for me. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone in the Indianapolis area.

The moving experience went well and the project was accomplished within the 2 hour time frame that I had purchased with Angie's Big Deal. The 2 young men were very clean, courteous, accommodating, and careful. They arrived at the end of the 2 hour scheduled timeframe but kept me informed as to their arrival time. I was having a horrible day and the delayed arrival presented some problems for me, but Aaron and Brandon were very understanding and worked hard to please me.

We asked for two men and one truck and three men showed up, which increased the cost, but all in all, the move happened quicker than it would have if only two showed up. They moved everything very efficiently and in good time. They were also very professional.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were really good. We would highly recommend them. We didn't have to pay anything extra; they came in with a minute to spare. They were very professional. They took their time with her. Nothing was broken or got scratched. We bought another of the Big Deals to use again.

This was a very stressful event for us. There was miscomunication from the beginning about the arrival time. Bought this for my daughter and when she called for an appointment the only time they had available was the final day she had to be out of her apartment by 5:00. This was a 2 hour Big Deal moving coupon so when we scheduled her time for 1:00 to 3:00 we thought it meant they would be there by 1:00 or so. When nobody was there at 1:30 we starting panicking that they forgot. We started calling and there was no answer. finally around 2:00 the driver called and said he was on his way. They arrived around 2:35. We still had to do final vacuum and mopping of the apartment after they moved her. While we were waiting, we had moved all of the boxes and the movers only had to move about 10 pieces of furniture. They were friendly and professional, but I cannot believe nobody was answering the phones to let us know what was going on. We left messages and the manager called me at 5:30 and told me that the 1:00 to 3:00 time slot was their arrival time and that they explained that when we called for the appointment. If they would have had someone to answer the phone to let us know what was going on, it would have saved a whole lot of frustration.

They were very nice, clean cut young gentlemen that arrived to rearrange the furniture in my house. My boyfriend had transferred out of state and I needed several heavy pieces of furniture moved around the house including basement, 1st and 2nd story of my home. All went well. The deal was $79, plus a $25 fuel surcharge. I would feel comfortable using them again.

Very well! We scheduled a moving date and time approximately a week ahead of time and then had to delay the move for an additional week. They were veryu accomodating! They called the day before and morning of to confirm location, and arrived on time. We had used the Angie's list half-price coupon for 2 movers for 2 hours. By moving day we had determined we needed to rent storage space, so they loaded the truck for a first stop at the storage facility and then continuing on to the new home. Once everything was unloaded and placed where we wanted things, they loaded a few other items and took them to the storage facility as well! The "Dawgs" were very professional and provided guidance on wrapping certain pieces of furniture to keep them clean. We will definitely use them again when we need to move the stored items to the new home and, most likely, haul some stuff to a donation center!

I called Moving Dawgs because I purchased a Big Deal for $79 for four man hours of moving services. It took several days of phone tag before I connected with someone and scheduled a date. I was called a few days later and asked if I could change the time because it conflicted with another job - I agreed to change from an 8:00 start to a start between 2:00 - 3:00. I was called on the day of the move and told that they were running late and would not be here until 4:30. They actually arrived about 5:30. Once here the two movers were apologetic, efficient and professional. They completed the job within the two hours and even took some furniture items to a nearby Goodwill to help me.

Great - We had to move twice -- once from our apartment into a temporary location and then into our first home. With a very limited budget and limited manpower, Moving Dawgs was just what was needed. We were so satisfied with them for the first move, we didn't hesitate to call them to help us for the second move. Excellent service.

Very clean, prompt, professional, and courteous

My mother moved into assisted living, making it a rather emotional day. The guys from Moving Dawgs (all either former or current military and/or public safety officers) were kind, courteous and careful with her possessions. They were able to safely move her prized possession, a grandfather clock that had been shipped from Germany. And even better, one of the guys had been stationed in Germany where he had taken an interest in clocks so he knew what to remove and to put back to get it in working order after the move. I was so pleased that I purchased the coupon to use them again for my personal move.

I was needing someone to help move quickly. The initial contact took a few days to get a response. Everything from then on was good. They showed up on time. I noticed some dings on the wall but I guess I half expected that. I would use them again.

The guys were good. I felt bad because the apartment we were moving from was in the back of the building, so they had to carry things a very long way. Most of the time was spent packing up the old apartment because of the long walk. Our new apartment was very close to the front door, so that was nice that we didn't have to make them walk a long way again. They unloaded the truck very quickly and even helped us with extra stuff we already had packed up. It was hot that day but they did not complain and were willing to do what we asked. The price was extremely reasonable and I would use them again in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were okay. They were prompt and the young men who came were very well-mannered. They did what we asked them to do and they did a nice job. In fact, I'll have them come tomorrow to do some minor moving.

It went well except for the rain but they were very forgiving about the rain as they took us off the clock while it was raining which was wonderful. They were here for 4 hours but they charged me for 3 as it was raining. They have very young and energetic guys who are very friendly and personable. They did a great job.
