They were prompt, quick, and polite.

Didn't end up using Moving Dawgs as they transferred the "moving" portion of their business to Jays Moving

We didn't have them come out; made other arrangements through no fault of the provider.

It was a small job but all went very well.

Honest, willing to help. Packed well and moved rapidly and efficiently. On time both days.

They were timely, professional, and good to work with. Many of my boxes were "slightly used" - seemed ok to start, but later found they didn't hold up to heavy packing - but I was able to use the new boxes they provided for heavier items.

This moving company is the worst!! First of all, I dealt with three full-time people who have never served in the armed forces. That was my first mistake - taking them at face value. I fully support anyone armed forces, but there are persons in this organization who never served. The day of the move: The 2 movers showed up early because they were in the area. I thought this was a good sign - wrong! There was an older man and a young man, both related, neither were armed forces or firefighters. The older man kept making the young guy do everything. One person cannot do a job alone. The older man spent his time openly cursing and complaining about his supposed days off, working long hours, how could his bosses do this to him....in front of me and my family. The older man kept calling his work office on his cell phone and not moving my stuff - the young man had to keep things moving. My sister asked the young guy why the older one treated him this way and why was he doing all the work, and the young guy said he was paying his dues. They finally got the truck loaded in 3 hours - way too long. I had a 2 bedroom partment and everything was packed up! My family and I got to the new address, but the truck didn't show up for over an hour. The movers took an unscheduled and unknown dinner break. We thought they got lost! I kept trying to call them and their office and nobody answred. They show up and they are only taking a few boxed up and down the elevator lift on the back of the truck at a time. It was taking forvere! Again, the old guy was barking orders while the young guy did everything. The young guy kept apologizing to me because I was so angry. I couldnt get thr office on the phone to complain. My family, to include my 63 yr old mom, had to jump in and start moving my boxes or we would have been there until midnight. Then they have the nerve to charge me full price and for that time the older guy did nothing. I left messages on their office phone all weekend. I finally got ahold of a an office assistant who felt bad and said a manager would call me right back. It took another 4 days for the manager to call me back. The ONLY thing they would do was to return $100, nothing more for all of the time and work MY family did doing THEIR job. I got the chech in the mail for $100 2 weeks later and put it in a drawer because I still had boxes everywhere in my new house. I just cashed that check and it BOUNCED!!! Insufficient funds!!!! What kind of business is this? Not only did it bounce, but I got charged a $15 fee for the bad check. BE VERY CAREFUL if you decide to use this business. I think they need to be invested for bad practices. I have left messages and am still trying to recover my money.

It went really well, guys ran a little later than expected but really worked hard and were awesome so i would use them again. Honestly can say enough nice things about the guys that helped us.

The 3-man Moving Dawgs team moved our large furniture (upholstered chairs and larger) approximately 20 miles, to our new home. They were extremely careful and efficient. We really appreciated their help!

UPDATE TO MY RATING: ----------- I just updated my rating on this move from a B to an A. You really learn about people and companies when things go wrong, not necessarily when things go right. The story I originally listed is below, but afterwards, I got a call from Moving Dawgs. They were really working to learn from what happened. I was told they were using my experience as further training for their crews, and they offered me discounted service on a future need. I just hired them to move a bedroom and dining room set that I bought. They gave me a meaningful discount on the move to make things right and the move went off without a hitch. You have to love people that own their mistakes and strive to improve! --------------------------------------------------------- I really struggled with this rating because I wanted to give them an A, but just couldn't: Positives: Prompt Charged what they said Courteous Nothing broken They fit me in on short notice by splitting the move between two days, which I really appreciated Negatives: Just one. Even though they came and estimated the job in person, they ran out of room on the truck. Thankfully they took all the really big heavy stuff and it was a short move. Basically they took almost no boxes of our things. I spent a large part of the weekend shuttling back and forth in a pickup truck, loading and unloading over a dozen times to get things moved. It was not a huge problem for me since it was a short move, but what if I was moving 100 miles instead of 2? I would have also liked for them to have said, hey we made a mistake and we will make a second trip or we will finish the job tomorrow or the next day and only charge you the additional labor. Something other than, sorry the truck is full so we are done. Again, for everything they moved, it was an A rated experience. I also realize that things can stack in a truck differently and they may have miscalculated the room they would need. My issue is they left it as my problem when they left versus proactively figuring out how to help me finish the move. I think that this sort of thing can be fixed by revisiting their own business processes and how they instruct the crews, but for now, I felt a B was fair.

Long story short, We needed to move all of the contents of my 2 bedroom condo in Avon AND a storage unit near the condo to an old house in broadripple. They were prompt, professional, and they worked their tails off getting all of the furniture inside an old 3 story home built in 1929! Bill and his crew were awesome and worth every penny! Thanks again guys and keep up the great work!!!

These guys took the stress out of moving. Jordan and Justin were hands down the best. They took great care of our things. These are the ONLY movers I will ever consider.

Someone from Moving Dawgs came to my apartment and gave me a quote on moving the contents from Avon to Carmel. When the day of moving arrived, two friendly young guys showed up. They immediately walked through my apartment, took an assessment of all the boxes, saw my very heavy bedroom furniture and commented on how there should have been three people sent to move me instead of just two. The guys did a great job of getting everything loaded, but it took them about three hours. (And this was only the contents of one person; I'm glad there was no one else to move!) They were respectful and careful with my belongings and they hustled the entire time. By they time they reached my final destination with my furniture, I knew this was going to go way over the price I was quoted. And judging by their reaction to the stairs leading to my new place, they were not expecting to haul everything upstairs, either. Luckily I had a friend drop by and he helped them unload items off the truck; if he hadn't been there I'm not sure how long the entire move would have taken. All in all, the movers themselves were fantastic, but there could have been more foresight and planning at the very beginning of the process to make sure there were enough resources available. In addition, it would have been nice to receive a confirmation call the day before the move. Because, let's face it, moving is stressful. Instead, I called Moving Dawgs myself for no other reason than peace of mind that I was still on their schedule.

The crew was efficient and experienced... could have been more professional.

Bill and Mark arrived at 8:15 an as scheduled. They reviewed what we wanted done and got their paperwork signed. They loaded the furniture to be moved and were finished by 9:30 and left for the Greenwood property. When they arrived at our new home they promptly unloaded the furniture. The move went as smooth as glass, we had bought a $200 worth of moving for $99. I would hire them again and would highly recommend Moving Dawgs. .

I have moved several times (about 10 times in 8 years) and this is one of the best moving companies I have used. They were scheduled to come at 8 am but with the storms that morning, they came at 830, but Tyler had called to let me know that ahead of time. They moved everything without damaging walls or floors. Since it was storming, they were respectful to not get the house or the condo muddy or dirty. There were about 15 minutes when it was raining very hard so they clocked out and clocked in so we weren't charged for that time of the storm. They broke a wine glass that was in a box, but Tyler called Zach at the office and they took 40 dollars off of our move to replace the set of the glasses. It was very much appreciated. I will definitely be using Moving Dawgs again when we move to a house.

I had paid for 2 hours and they told me in advance that after the two hours were up they needed to leave regardless of if everything was done. I had hoped that it would be done in 2 hours. They ended up leaving about 15 boxes. They did move all the big stuff. They were very nice and helpful and they did move everything efficiently.

They were very professional, worked efficiently, and enjoyed their work. They were very careful and made sure that everything was in its place before they left. It was a pleasure to have them in our home.

Everything was fantastic, Josh W., and Jerry were much faster then anticipated, they did accidentally bump into some door trim, and there was a small ding afterward, but the owner came by and gave me, more then enough money to compensate for the minuscule repair. They did have to recruit another team to help move the safe from my relatives home into my own. I would most definitely use this company again if in need of moving in the future.

After purchasing the Big Deal on Angie's list for this service, I was contacted by Moving Dawgs right away and soon met with Ryan Howard. He thoroughly inspected the job, and gave me a reasonable quote for what I needed - which is actually two moves! One move got the furniture out, and the next one will be to get the furniture back in. I had asked for a first thing in the morning move, and I got an 8am to 8:30 am slot. The guys from Moving Dawgs showed up about 10 minutes early and were ready to go. They worked straight through, and got everything loaded and secured in the POD. Everything I wanted taken to the basement was stored in an orderly fashion. The guys were respectful and polite. This hardwood floor refinishing projects is one of those big ones that, with hope, will be worth it when it's done! Moving Dawgs took the hassle out of one big chunk of this project. I was very impressed, and have no hesitation recommending them to anyone needing moving services.

It was just fine. They were on-time, clean and well-spoken.

First Visit - Moving furniture out rooms. Jeff and Charles were here on time, went immediately to work. They completely emptied out a bedroom and a den within 35 minutes. They were professional They were friendly. Second Visit - Moving furniture back into rooms. Ryan and Bob were here on time and went immediately to work. The returned all of the furniture exactly as I wanted it. Never nicked a wall or damaged any furniture. There two were very professional and friendly. All work was done within 45 minutes. These two experiences were positive as a customer and I will hire the Dawgs in the future. Thank you.

In July, I purchased a Groupon for Moving Dawgs knowing that I would be moving sometime this year. I contacted them in November for an estimate and their representative was punctual and very thorough for that appointment. He walked through the house, looking at all my furniture, and then gave me the high end estimate for the move. On Dec. 15, Big John and Bob showed up right on time and went straight to work. They took care with everything, including shrink wrapping one of my son's 7 foot Lego structures. The camaraderie between these two made for very efficient teamwork. Halfway through the move, their boss showed up just to check on their progress. Once we reached my new apartment, they unloaded everything where I wanted it and even offered to hook up the washer and dryer for me. They finished the job in less time estimated and saved me $75. When I move in July to my final home, I will definitely use Moving Dawgs again and hopefully, I will get the team of Big John and Bob.
