Moving Dawgs

These guys were great. They called before arriving, arrived on time and they work fast. They took care with my furniture and nothing was broken or damaged in the move. Before they left the ensured the items were placed where I wanted them to be and made sure I didn't want them to do anything else. I will most definitely use them for my next move and will recommend them to my friends. The guys who handled my move were Brandon Hamilton and Aaron Banker.

I'm very happy with the experience I had with John Byers and Aaron Banker with Moving Dawgs. They arrived on time, were courteous, and professional. I would gladly use them again when the need arises in the future.

They were fabulous. Three young men were very polite and fast. They double checked to make sure everything was packed and wrapped correctly. They were the most respectful young men I have seen in a very long time. It was like having three sons helping. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again. They were very quick with moving process and I would nominate them for the Page of Happiness. Crew Chief John Byers, Matt Whitfield, and John Whitney were just a pleasure to work with. If I was their mother, I would be so proud to have them as my sons.

Work was performed as requested. Everyone (Big John, John (Ox) and Laura) were very helpful and unloaded everything where it was supposed to go quickly and correctly. The reason punctuality did not get an 'A' rating is that the confirmed schedule arrival at 8:00 was not kept. I did get a call at 8:20 saying that they would arrive between 8:15 and 9:00.

I have used Junk Dawgs before and they are great! When I decided to move, I wanted to use Moving Dawgs. I bought one of Angie's Big Deals, $160 credit for $79. When I finally got possession of my new house, I called to make my appointment. I had to book a little bit out, but not far, and that was okay. They were to arrive around 3 on a Friday afternoon, after completing another job. I was told they might be early or late, depending on how that one went. It was a lot bigger than they had anticipated, so they didn't get to my house until much later. I talked to the lead man on the job when they were late, and they also called when they were on their way. That was okay because that gave me a little more time to get ready. Three young men arrived, John Byers (Big John), Aaron Booker, and John Whitney. They came in, discussed with me what I wanted moved, then Big John sat down with me and went over all the paperwork. Moving Dawgs charges a flat $25 transportation fee, so the hourly fee ($120 for three men) clock started when they actually started moving my furniture. These guys were on it. Very nice, very polite young men. They moved my things quickly and carefully. They seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs and each other. My new house was only a mile away. Upon arrival, they quickly brought things in, asking where I wanted them. They assembled my bed. When all was said and done, it only took them two hours to complete the job. After the Angie's List Big Deal, I owed them another $108. What a bargain! I was so delighted that I've told other people about my smooth move. Moving Dawgs also offers the "muscle" without the truck. If you need someone to help move things inside your house, or you have a truck of your own, you can hire the help. I am absolutely delighted with my move and my movers. I not only would recommend them, I already have.

They were on time and quickly and carefully moved our items from our driveway where we had them waiting to storage. They did a nice job loading our items in a small storage space. I gave them a B on professionalism just because I thought the $25.88 extra charge for driving to us was a bit excessive given we only used 30 minutes of our time. Otherwise I think it was THE absolute best moving experience I have had, especially how punctual they were and their responsiveness to emails to schedule the appointment.

This is the first time I had used professional movers in my 3 moves and I could not be more pleased with Moving Dawgs, form the very beginning they were up front with their costs (no hidden fees), simply a trip charge and an hourly rate. Seth and Ox moved us last Friday and they were very professional and at the same time extremely fast. We hit our goal of 5 hours with 5 minutes to spare. I had originally planned on using another company when I found these guys on Angie?s list. Being a veteran myself I will always go with a vet owned company. Vet owned companies tend to have great leadership and a great work ethic so it was a no brainer for me. I contacted them about my move and got everything set up in a matter of 10 min. The day of my move the crew contacted me to let me know they were on their way and I should expect them in 15 min or so. The crew arrived on time and surveyed the area, got a plan together and began to work. They were very efficient and got everything loaded on the truck in just under two hours. Once loaded we moved on to the new house and another quick walk thru and they began unloading. I think this is when the crew got their second wind because it took them a little over an hour to off load but it seemed quicker. I was very pleased with the whole process, from my initial contact with Kyle to the crew that moved my home Big John, John and Jorge (3 J's) these guys are efficient in every way and true professionals of their craft. We will always recommend this company and will use again if and when needed.

From the scheduler, Kyle, to the movers Ryan and Aaron, everyone was so pleasant and professional. Moving is very stressful but using Moving Dawgs was one of my best decisions. They were flexible with scheduling. They were punctual and they worked rapidly but carefully handled the furniture. I will definitely use them again.

1 truck, 3 guys and A LOT of stuff to move! These 3 guys were GREAT! VERY professional! We did have numerous scuffs on new walls, but I truly think that is to be expected. Scuffs can be painted. And, we did not have any problems with dings in drywall. These guys did wonderfully! They came w/ a job to do, and did it well. I would recommend them up and down!

Great price, great guys. They were 2 army guys...very down to earth and funny. Got the job done pretty quick. Nothing damaged. What else could I ask for?

The two young gentlemen arrived on time to move the heavy television. It only took them about 15 minutes to get the TV loaded in the truck. The TV went to my son's house and up one flight of stairs. Everything was satisfactory concerning the operation.

The showed up before their start time. They properly wrapped and transferred to their truck and moved. They were very careful and professional.

Two movers showed up on time and clearly explained everything before getting started. They were always very respectful of myself and the property. We had some difficulty moving a large armoire and they were very patient and helpful in finding an acceptable solution to get it moved up the stairs. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

William, Josh, and Ox did an exceptional job moving our belongings to our new apartment after the sale of our home. They were fast and courteous. I would definitely move with them again!

I found a beautiful piece of furniture that I neighbor would no longer need, I just needed to have it moved a few blocks to my home. I found the deal online and gave them a call. They were wonderful. I'm very happy with them and would use them again.

I called around to get estimates on our move, and Kyle was the only one who returned my call in a prompt manner. I explained to him that we were in a rush and needed to move within a week; he squeezed us in the schedule. He was also very professional in answering all our questions, and explaining exactly what we can expect. I will update this review after the job has been completed.

The movers where professional and well mannered, they were willing to go above what I would normally have considered necessary with wrapping of items etc. They had a small truck (which we knew about when I scheduled since the larger truck was booked the day we needed) and did their best to minimize the time needed even with multiple trips. We will use them the next time we move and will recommend them to friends. They were recommended to me as well.

On initial call a date and time was scheduled. James and Austin called in advance to let me know they were running early and we made arrangements for them to start early. They arrived on time. Once they recieved instructions the immediately started work and did not stop unitl the job was completed. They were very careful with the furniture and very respectful of the home. No damage was done. The moved a large dresser, a queen bed and nightstand from downstairs to up and attached the mirror to the dresser. They also took several items from upstairs to the garage and helped organize the items in the garage.

We would use this company again, as the price and service was good. The men were professional and worked hard. However, there was a lot of confusion the first day. The movers were several hours late, and we were told a few guys were coming to our house to help wrap the furniture. We were told this would not cost extra or count against our 2 hours and that they were doing it as a courtesy due to the late arrival. The movers showed up 2 hours later, and they sincerely apologized for being late and got to work. When the movers finished, they completed the paperwork and charged us for 4 hours. The other 2 men had previously left so it was our word against theirs for how much we should pay. The movers made several calls to their home office and ended up honoring the Big Deal. The second day, the movers arrived at the scheduled time. We made it very clear we only wanted two hours, and they stopped right on time.

Movers were professional and courteous. Very careful with the piano that had been my Grandmothers which was greatly appreciated. Delivered the piano to another location immediately and set it up in the living room; again being very careful.

They scheduled a 2 hour window of arrival and did manage to show up just at the tail end of that ... but within given limits. they set to work right away and after I showed them what was wanted they went to work and got everything done within about an hour. the two representatives were very personable and polite. I was quite satisfied with the job well done.

We love those guys, they did a wonderful job. They were very cautious and careful. They were very friendly. I would hire them again. I had no problems. I would recommend them to anybody and everybody. They were great. They were responsive and on time. They were very professional, I was very impressed with these guys.

Outstanding job. The guys were great, did exactly what they said they would do, moved the furniture with care, no damage to walls or furniture. Will absolutely recommend them to anyone based on my experience.
