Mister Quik Home Services

This company proposed work for which I did not need. Mr. Quick's estimate was $2736.75. Also Mr. Quick wanted $59.00 for transportation charges to come and give the estimate. NO free estimates.

The technicians were at my house for about 45 minutes walking through what would be necessary. We talked about my options and then they prepared a quote. The numbers they presented were absurd and I let them know that I would only do the first outlet since they charge a $59 service charge if you don't perform the work. We talked about me getting a surge protector outlet since they didn't have one and I left to go to Lowes (1 mile). I arrived back at the house 20 minutes later and they were already gone. They did not leave a quote or proposal and they did not perform any of the work. They didn't even leave a note to explain why they left. I would never use this company again and would never recommend them to anyone else.

I called 3 companies on Angie's List and Mister Quick was the fastest respondent. They came out quickly for an estimate which I thought was reasonable. I had a free coupon from the list for a $59 call which they took off the bill. Patricia was super nice on the phone. Two guys came out (one had to crawl up into the attic). They cleaned up after themselves and they called me after to make sure everything was done right. Great Job!

They did an excellent job. Very reasonably priced and wore booties in the house so not to make a mess. Really quick and exactly what the estimate was. Very easy experience.

One of my breakers would not go back to the on position so I called Mr. Quick. They said that I needed an upgraded box due to the current one being a fire hazard. I had them do the job then because my house had no electricity. The price seemed high but I needed the work done. I later called another company for an estimate over the phone, which understandably is not as accurate but it was quite a bit less. The work was good but I would have liked to get some more estimates before having them do the work. There were few added costs that I did not see until the final bill which it would have nice to know before the work started. I also asked for documentation on why exactly I needed a new box and I did not receive it.

Went very well. The company representative was extremely nice, very clean and performed the work efficiently.

They are very up front and do a good job. They were out right away with the new fan.

From Brad answering to Patricia scheduling and Troy coming to do the work everything was a 100%. I can't recommend these people enough.

On time, quick, efficient and helpful. We had a circuit breaker go out during a storm and it couldn't be reset. We scheduled an appointment (conveniently on a Saturday) and the breaker was replaced.

Painless! They did what they said they would. Charged what they said they would, were there when they said they would be. Patricia was so friendly & helpful. I called on a Friday & they said they could be out same day. I didn't need them until Monday, so we scheduled for then.

I corresponded several times with Jim via e-mail and on the phone. Our move into a new home was delayed several times, but when I e-mailed Grace Heating, Jim remembered me and rescheduled the appointment. The gas company had provided him with fully programmable Honeywell thermostats at no charge. I was really please to find that he had held one back for us. Upon arrival, the furnace was cleaned and checked. The new thermostat was also installed at no additional charge. We'll go back to Grace for our routine maintenance checks and cleanings. In the future, when a new furnace is needed, Grace will be the company we contact for assistance.

Wonderful! Company called just as they said they would before they came out. Receptionist was very polite and caring. Electrician came out and had to diagnose what caused the breaker to trip. Found the cause was a faulty sump pump in the crawl space. Unplugged it and replaced the breaker.

Troy of Mr. Quik's was punctual, kept work areas very clean, did the work fast, efficiently, and charged a fair price.

I had a couple areas of my condo where the power just wasn't working. I was concerned because it seems like it would be a fire hazard. We found that one of the problems was just that a recent painting job resulted in a light switch being disconnected. I made the appointment and they had to reschedule twice, but for legitimate reasons. The next day they called and just profusely apologized, sent a very nice letter and a gift card explaining that this was not their regular service practices. It turns out the problem was when my brother installed safety outlets in the house. He'd followed the directions, but what he didn't know was how to rewire so when the outlets tripped they wouldn't take out electric in other rooms. It was really a simple problem once it was identified. They rewired the outlets to keep it from happening in the future. They also checked all of my outlets while they were here, finding one which needed to be replaced. They were in and out within an hour.

Excellent service. I called them and they were at our house within 2 hours. They labeled a whole breaker box in less than 1 hour ($159). I was impressed to say the least. They wore booties to protect my floors. Very nice, courteous professionals. They had all of their prices printed out in a brochure so there was no worry or haggling. I have called them 3 to 4 times and have always spoke with a charming woman, Patricia - never an answering machine, even at 7am. I will use them for all of my electrical needs in the future.

They arrived when they said they would. They waived the travel fee ($48) because I agreed to let them do the work. I thought the $266 per box/light was high but I wanted to get the work done as a gift for my wife. They did excellent work and cleaned up after themselves even in the attic. If companies like this would give an estimate without charging, I would have gotten other estimates.

Troy as promised, called before coming to do the repair. He was on time and was able to complete repair in the estimated time given. He was very polite, cordial, and tidy (placed disposable booties, shoe coverings, before entering home).

They didn't do the work as I specified even though I emailed the work list to Brad Huff and the technician had the emailed list in his hand when we discussed the proposed work. Item #1 was completed as desired, but #2 was only completed as far as the replacement of the light fixtures. And due my handicap I wasn't able to view the finished work, most of which was in the basement. I considered their prices rather high and their price structure rather strange.

Secretary was prompt, cheerful and very accommodating. Technician was friendly and professional. Plan to use the company for our future projects.

The gentleman was great. He arrived on time and was very helpful and knew just what we needed. When he entered the house he put on slippers over his shoes to protect our carpet. Not only did he put the light in but added a dimmer switch for us. Also, he helped us out with the fact that the light needed a hook to be put in the ceiling to make it centered in the room and over the new dining room table. When he left there was no mess for us to clean up. We are very happy with the company and will use them again for any electric needs we might have.

They give you a price up front for the work involved. The fan replacement turned out to be more difficult than anticipated. It took longer than expected and involved more work than an ordinary replacement. However, the price they give you is the price you pay, even if the work turns out to be more complicated than at first thought. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were prompt, pleasant and responsive to work needed done. They gave an estimate before the work was completed. Had to return to install light/fan after ordered and in, the handyman had to come another day to patch/final finish the area cut around fan. Work was great. We were not completely satisfied with the breaker relabeling and they cleared up most of that on the return trip to install light/fan.
