The technician was very pleasant and very fast. Unfortunately, I forgot the technician's name and can only make out an M as the first letter in his signature. He also wrote on the spot estimates for installing 3 motion detection spotlights on different locations on the roof line - 2 and 3 floors up ($679) and for replacing 2 existing floodlights with motion detection ones ($266). At my request, he also took a quick look at my landscape lights and offered suggestions.

I felt like they were just trying to sell me something, I would not use them again.

They responded quickly. The came out within 24 hours. Completed estimates on other jobs and completed the work on our lamp post. I was pleased with the work which was completed. Turns out that it wasn't the power line that needed to be replaced, only the sensor light. The job took about 15 mins to do. My husband felt sick watching how easy it turned out to be and realizing we were paying over $100 for about 10-15 minutes worth of work. The photo sell unit was replaced and our lamp is working. He also hammered the post deeper within the ground to stop the leaning. We were pleased with the services completed. My only issue was that the service/travel fee of $59 was not to be charged b/c we are Angie's List members. I had to call back to have that charge removed from our bill which actually totaled $213.75. I was assured the $59 would be credited back to our charge card. We'd definitely recommend their services in the future and are considering additional work by this contractor.

Their price was so low that we were shocked. They came did the work and everything was excellent.

Our ceilings are too high to get to, so we had Mr. Quik replace our lights for us.

Although I called early in the week, they couldn't do an estimate until the end of the week, and they couldn't do the job in time due to other projects.

Grace was able to perform the work the day I called them. I was very happy with them and they will be the first people I call in the future.

The tech "MJF" was professional and helpful. We asked about several other electrical concerns we had. He was honest in his appraisals of the situations.

Dean was very courteous, did the job in about 2 hours. Answered all questions. Cleaned up. Wore shoe covers.

They were great in every single way. I appreciated the free service call. The guys were competent friendly and very clear about pricing. There are no surprises and I got more than my money's worth. This was a large job and they honored their original price.

Rapid response on both original and call back. This job was more difficult that it first appeared. I think that an extra 15-20 mins would have been found this existing problem. One of the switches in house was not connected in two way setup. This caused confusion in planning job.

Was very clean and wore protection over his feet every time he walked into the house.

They were early and done early. Price was cheaper than what they originally said.

They came to the house to give the quote. When we told them we didn't want them to do the work, they wanted a service charge ($59). The charge would have been waived, if the work was performed. This was not explained to me, when I asked for the quote. They ended up not charging me, but I would have preferred to know about the service charge up front. We ended up going with another company based upon price.

They charged so much, I suspect they used scare tactics to get me to agree to having them do the job they wanted to do. I couldn't afford to have them fix the things I wanted them to fix because I had to pay so much to have them fix something they said needed fixing. The metal pipes aren't fastened to the house on BOTH sides of the pipe.

Called for an estimate, and Jim Snyder came right on time. Grace's estimate was more than $1000 less, than the two others we had received, but called for a smaller unit. We did some research and learned that the unit Grace was recommending, was actually more appropriate for our small house, than what others had recommended. Jim gave us an education on HVAC, that helped us keep our current house (unit was installed in house we were purchasing) 10 degrees cooler, which helped us sell the house! Jim was very accommodating of our desire to have a particular brand installed. Unit was installed timely and the crew was great. Technicians have been very good about follow up with us. A great experience.

HIS ESTIMATE WAS DOUBLE WHAT TWO OTHER COMPANIES WERE. I FELT THAT THEY WERE INTIMIDATING, THEY SAID THAT MY HOUSE WAS GOING TO BURN DOWN, AND THEY SAID THAT I NEEDED THE WORK DONE RIGHT THEN AND THERE. I CALLED ONCE AND SET UP THE APPOINTMENT FOR THE ESTIMATE. THEN I REALIZED THAT THERE WAS A $59 SERVICE FEE TO JUST COME OUT AND QUOTE ME. I CALLED 20 MIN. LATER AND TOLD THEM TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT. THEY STILL SHOWED UP THIS MORNING AND AFTER THEY GAVE ME THE QUOTE HE ASKED FOR THE MONEY. I WENT BACK TO MY NOTES, BECAUSE I HAD 3 DIFFERENT COMPANIES COME OUT, AND I CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THAT I CANCELED. I DID CANCEL, THEY WANTED ME TO PAY, I SAID ABSOLUTELY NOT, AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME.

Everyone there was pleasant to talk to which seems important to my wife! The effort to be really nice, responsive and understanding was appreciated. All the technical guys who did the work were very nice and professional. People who use this service need to know on the front end that it is a Cadillac service. Their job is to run out on the last minute and take care of things. When you call them up, I figure they will probably charge double what others would have charged. Put into perspective, they are set up for emergency situations, just like the emergency room is more expensive than a doctors visit.

A very clean cut and professional guy, Jim Snyder came out for an estimate, explained all options. We decided to do a leak search on the AC first as he said if the leak wasn't repairable, they would apply that cost to a new heat pump. We ended up doing that as the leak wasn't repairable. They took special care to put down a carpet covering all the way down the carpeted stairs to the basement and still wore the little booties as well. Show up on time, hard workers, no mess with heat pump or water heater. A totally family run business. Jim estimated and his nephew and uncle did the actual work. All very nice guys. A very good price as well for a 13 SEER heat pump plus 50 gal water heater (total $4,800). The water heater box was damaged from warehouse and scratch paint (about 1 inch by 2 inches area). Cosmetic only, but they quickly agreed to replace it immediately when I requested it. The uncle came back the next day to fix a valve leak in the other water heater for no charge.

After he left I realized I signed the contract without getting a copy. I have not paid them anything yet because we are tying to get out of our contract. They were trying to charge for $2500 to completely replace a breaker box, which I thought to be absurd. We did have them repair 3 outlets however.

Grace Heating and Cooling came on a Saturday, holiday weekend at 8am. They were on time and professional. They did a wonderful job. They completed the job in a timely fashion. We will call upon Grace Heating and Cooling again and will recommend to everyone.

Scheduled to appear on Wed at 4pm. Called at 3:45 to say they'd be late. Called at 5pm to say they weren't coming. I gave benefit of the doubt and they rescheduled for Friday at 4pm. Called Friday at 3pm left message to call back. Called back at 3:45 and they informed me they were not coming. I canceled the service. The operator was courteous saying, "We totally failed you on customer service." No doubt. I would avoid them. They offered me $25 off in order to get a second chance to come out. But I hadn't been given any quote yet. So that was meaningless.

He installed a weather head and grounded one of my outlets.
