I called on a Sunday & my call was returned promptly by the owner. He explained my problem to me and indicated that there was no immediate danger of fire. Told me the Sunday rate versus the weekday rate and we scheduled Monday appointment. Kent Davis, the electrician, was prompt, courteous and repaired the problem with efficiency.

The guy came out and he was very careful and thorough. He gave us suggestions. He went beyond the service request. They explained everything that they were doing.

He arrived within the 2 hour window I was given. I asked them to quote adding a switch on some flood lights and fixing the plugs. Adding the switch was going to be $319.00. Seemed high so I did not ask them to complete. The work to find the problem on the light switch cost $197. It took him 30 minutes to find the plug that had a loose neutral wire, tighten the wire and the rest of the plugs worked. He suggested the surge protector for $268.00. I thought the price seemed high, but he was there so I had him do it. It may have taken him 15 minutes. When he totaled the bill, he did not take off the Angie's List coupon even though I told them when I called that I was an Angie's List member (so be sure to remind them). He did a good job, but you pay by the job not by the hour with this company. I think they are pricey.

They were very accommodating to fix the several electrical jobs we proposed, the electrician did not have everything on the truck (we needed new light cannisters) so he made the trip to hardware store to get the right fixture, he was also very fast & efficient.

'Grace' was fantastic! I called and they had someone out within a few hours even though it wasn't an emergency. The problem was completely explained to me. The solution was priced fairly for the service call and parts. In addition, they charged with unit with freon and just in time, the next day the Indiana summer started and the temps jumped into the 90's but I was cool and comfortable with a ready to go air conditioning unit. They also answered my questions about regular service and maintenance.

They arrived on-time to do the work asked of them. I would use them in the future. They were professional while they worked. I would recommend them. The quality of their work was good.

It went really well. They showed up right when they said they would. They were quick. They were very informative about other things that could be helped in the house.

I had been without power for over 2 days and most companies I called couldn't get someone out to give me an estimate until Wednesday - Mr. Quik sent someone the same afternoon I had called. Pam, who answered the phone with "how can we make you smile today" was cheerful when I told her she could make me smile by sending some one out today to give me an estimate on the repair I needed. She checked her schedule and said someone would be out mid-late afternoon. Dean showed up as scheduled. He did a complete inspection of the damage, both on the exterior of my home and also at the breaker box in the basement. He then wrote up a complete estimate and explained each portion of it to me. He also informed me that he would be able to complete the work that day. The price seemed to be in line with what I had researched prior to them showing up so I authorized the work. Dean started the job, and even cut the partially-live IPL line that delivers electricty to the house. He kept me informed as he did the work, and at one point was waiting on a part and asked if I minded if he left to go back to the office to get it because it was taking so long. I told him to do what was best, just be sure to come back! He came back shortly and finished the job. IPL showed up a bit later to reconnect my power to the pole and the IPL personnel said they thought that Dean had done a great job.

I would use them again. They followed up the following day to make sure everything was okay which surprised me.

This was the second time I have used them with positive results both times. I spent 36 years in the Insurance business working with all types of service providers the good, the bad, and the really bad. Mister Quik by far is one of, if not the best I have ever worked with.

I had already purchased the panel and planned to do the work until I went to pull the permit and found out that Lawrence doesn't allow homeowners to do their own electrical work no matter what their qualifications are. So there I was with a panel and the breakers that if I hooked up I'd have a hard time getting IPL out to hook my meter back up. So to Angie's List I came and searched for a contractor with good reports that could do the work soon. We were moving in to the house that weekend and I wanted the work done before we had to worry about living there and the dog, the cat, and all that fun stuff. I called Mister Quick and the lady on the phone was very polite and professional. She had a technician scheduled to come out by noon the same day. I couldn't ask for faster service. Tony showed up to do the work and he was very polite and professional. He understood my situation and was ready to get to work. I went back to work and by the end of the day, I had a new working panel with surge protection installed. They were, as their name states, very quick and very professional. I feel like the price was a bit much for the work done, especially since I supplied the parts, but I was in a pinch and needed the work done quickly so I am sure I was partially paying for the quick response. I've used less expensive companies in the past but the turn around time and hassle was much greater.

He took about two hours and he charged $250 an hour. We wont have him again. We did not ask how much it would cost and he did not say. He charges more than our family lawyer!

Mister Quik sent two guys up to the house and neither introduced themselves or were kind. They both basically gave the vibe thanks for wasting my day coming to your house. Based on the 2 guys alone I would not do business with them.

The electrician was prompt and courteous. After he finished, the company called to inquire about the work. About a week later they sent a thank you card. I was impressed that they were very concerned to be sure work was done and we were satisfied. I did feel the cost of installation for the outlet was somewhat high. Other than that, I had no problems and I would call them again.

I called them at noon and they were out by 3:15pm.

Our initial contact was with Meg who has an outstanding phone ability, plus excellent people skills. She kept us informed as to the tech's schedule, what was happening and when it was going to happen. Their staff was outstanding. Their technician Mike was well qualified in both the technical aspects of the job plus the customer service, which seems to be lacking these days in many aspects of daily life. As subscribers to Angie's List, our Mr Quik referral was an all around good experience for us.

We were very satisfied. Jim, our tech, was very thorough and informative. He showed up on time and was very polite. We also received quotes for a few other items that we will likely have done in the near future. The fixed price quote system that Mister Quik uses definitely fell in our favor. While Jim did a very professional job, it took him 2-3 hours longer than anticipated, and a per hour charge would have escalated our bill. We would use this company again.

A month or so ago, we noticed a lot of lights flickering in our house. Called Mr. Quik and they came out and ran some diagnostics. Found we needed to replace our electrical box in our 30+ year old house. They showed us the problem and we hired them to fix it. Then, a couple weeks later, we called them again to fix a couple outlets that didn't work in our house. They had to check almost every outlet in the house to find the problem, but their electrician finally found the problem and fixed it. We're very pleased with their prompt and courteous service.

I greatly appreciated the time Chris R. took in explaining the problem to me and how to keep it from happening again. He seemed stumped a couple of times but kept at it until he could figure out the tricky wiring.

It was an excellent experience. We have used them twice since. They are very nice, they provided us with a discount coupon for future uses ($25) and they seem to genuinely care about providing quality service.

I called them in the afternoon and they were able to service me by 4:00pm. The receptionist is wonderful.
