The service man (James) was very professional and curteous. Cost of circuit breakers seemed excessive to me.

Mr. Quik charges less for the furnance and a/c check once a year, than another company I had a contract with, and Mr. Quik also does one free plumbing and electrical check. I have already used them for plumbing.

It was small job, but they did a great job. Their price was fair and I would use them again.

It went extremely well. The person who came was very knowledgeable and he came out quickly. He diagnosed the problem very soon but he could not get the spare part immediately. He promised me that he will fix it by next morning and he drove 50 miles each way to get the spare part to be at my house by 9 am. He did a good job.

Yesterday evening, my large appliances (stove, furnace, dryer, dishwasher) started resetting and made me very concerned about an electrical issue in my home. (They were acting possessed; it was scary.) It was after normal business hours and I didn't consider it an emergency, but I called Mister Quik because they indicated they had 24 hour emergency service on their profile and I wanted to talk through the issue with a representative who was more knowledgeable than me. I was advised that what I was describing sounded like an issue with the different phases of electricity that run to my house. I scheduled an appointment for them to come the next morning (today). The technician arrived on time and was very polite. He determined that the problem was with the meter panel below my actual meter base. It was burning up and melting the wires due to a bad connection and needed to be replaced as soon as possible, as it was a fire hazard. I received an estimate for $783 for work that could be done today. I let them know that I wanted to try to get a few other estimates but would call back if I couldn't, since the nature of the problem was suggested to be so serious. I was able to get estimates from two other companies (miraculous considering the snow storm occurring today) and ended up hiring a different company to perform the work because their estimate was almost 50% lower than Mister Quik's and they, too, could do the work today. All in all, I was appreciative of the evening help and the quick service availability this morning, but the price was too high for me to consider calling them back for this job.

They were great, polite and were efficient. I felt the charges were reasonable.

I needed service the day I called to be ready for the installation of a gas stove the next day. In an emergency where very quick service is needed this would be a good compoany to use. The service was done promptly and well but two things bothered me. The price was much higher than I think it should have been. Even with the Angies List coupon and allowing for lots of travel time the price came to about $100 per hour. Beyond that, and what I think did not exhibit professionalism, the electrician wanted to "upsell" me by installing ground fault indicators and a surge protector. The surge protector would have been an additional $300. I can hardly guess what the GFIs might have cost. So my advice is don't use Mister Quick Eelctric unless you absolutely have to. They're quick but you really pay for it.

They were on time, very professional and I was very pleased with their work.

One man came out promptly - within half an hour. He saw that he would need a second man with a taller ladder, so we had to wait another hour and a half for him. Fortunatly I had put a stepladder and some padding under the chandelier to prevent it from falling while we waited. When the second man arrived they were able to get the chandelier down quickly and safely and put up a blank plate to cover the electrical box in the ceiling. All in all it went well and we were relieved, however we were disappointed with the wait, and we felt the charge was high, even though it took two men and ran into the evening.

It started off as a not too good experience but they improved upon their work later and things worked out just fine. We had an issue with the track lighting and there were three or four electricians that had come out. One person came out and installed it and a week later it went off. Another person then came out at no extra charge and fixed it. It again went out two days later. The third person who came out said it could not be fixed and that it had to be replaced. He examined the track lighting system thoroughly. We bought a new system and called them again, and they installed it at no charge, which was nice. They did a great job. I had to deal with four different electricians. The third person was the one who did the analysis that identified the problem, and the fourth person did a great job with the installation of the new system.

The service was very and he was prompt.

The electrician (James) came out one day after my first call to do the estimate. Very personable and knowledgeable. If we'd had the fixtures already, he could have worked on it that day. Scheduled for 3 days later, showed up on time, gave advice re patching the holes they needed to make to fish the lines, finished up everything the same day, took about 6 1/2 hours. They look great, and I am very comfortable with their work.

They did a pretty quick, easy job. The job wasn't that involved. They did a good job nonetheless.

Jason worked from 8:30 in the morning until 7:00 in the vening to accomplish the re-wire. He did performed more than what was quoted (re-wired all plugs in kitchen) but held the price. He cleaned up his work area and was very professional and amiable.

I was very pleased to find Mr. Quik!! Everyone I talked with was extremely friendly and helpful. They even told us where to find coupons to help with the cost of the emergency call. The electrician came promptly and was very courteous and efficient. We would definitely use Mr. Quik again and highly recommend to everyone!

Everything was good, and they were at my house within three hours of me calling. There were pricey, but I appreciated that they accepted my Angie's List coupon, which made the price more fair. I was happy with them and would consider using them again, especially if they offered another coupon.

He said it could take a 150 watt bulb. He didn't have any, so he went and got one and it is working great. He was very pleasant and efficient.

They did a good job with the work and everything went fine.

He showed up well within the stated time frame. Very polite and personable. Explained the work, and showed me what was wrong with the old switch. Completed the work quickly and explained the guarantee on the work. Overall a good experience.

It went well. They are very good. I do not have any complaints.

Upon contact with our interest in a back-up generator that would provide whole house coverage in the event of a power outage, they provided information, brochures to review, and an opportunity to view the actual unit that had been recently installed in a residential area. The installation was without problems, They were prompt and very professional. We are extremely pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend this company.

They were very good, but they weren?t the cheapest. They did what they said they would do. They did it in a timely manner and were very responsive. They were very efficient and very friendly. I would use them again in future.

We received 3 estimates from different electricians on Angie's List and decided to hire Mr. Quik. On the appointed day, Ray, our assigned electrician from the company, arrived and gave to us an estimate on the many jobs we wanted done. We agreed on the price and he set about doing them. Ray worked very slowly and methodically, attacking each job with care, intelligence and determination. He did a super job on each task, repairing, replacing, and installing. He answered every question and made suggestions for repair/replacement which better suited our home's needs. We felt like we got a good deal with competent workmanship on our repairs.

I had sticker shock. Didn't use them.

I have 2 electrical outlets in the front of the house and my roofers needed a third electrical outlet. So, I opened the garage door and let them use the electrical outlet in the garage. That night when they were all done, I went out to close my garage door and I had no power. I called my roofer the next morning and he immediately said that he would call an electrician. He said that he would pay for it, as it was their mistake. By noon, an electrician from Mr. Quick Electric and my roofer were both here. My roofer wrote a cheque to pay for the repair and he didn?t argue about anything. It was actually a blessing that it happened that way. There were 2 ventilating fans that were taken off from the roof. However, when the roofers took them off, there were some wires which were left hanging which could have easily started a fire. So, the electrician had to come and put boxes on those 2 wires. He did a fine job. He was pretty responsive, as he was called in the morning and was here by noon. I would call him again in the future, if needed.
