I am glad I took advantage of the Angie's List Special Deal for this service. I had been wanting to have this done -- good safety measure to have dryer vents cleaned so there isn't a fire. I was pleased with the response time in scheduling the appointment and happy with the service performed.

The service was fine. Our dryer vent is attached to the outside of the house with a 3foot plastic tube, so it is pretty easy. It was not like they had to go through the roof. They were very polite, well mannered, they did call that morning to say they weren't able to come out, and when I told them that it was not acceptable, they came out. Their individual workers, and the workers they had assigned heard me, and so, they accommodated us and came out. They were cordial, and very polite. They were young and did what I asked them to do. They need to work on their professionalism, I think it will come with age.

The service worked out fine. Everything got vacuumed the way it should of.

This was the first time we ever had air duct cleaning of our 30 yr old house. I purchased an Angies Big Deal offer for $179 for up to 2500 square feet. The value was listed as $450. An HVAC company had previously given us a $600 quote for the same service, so it appears to have been a great deal. The technician appeared quick, efficient and was friendly and courteous. I only wish he had taken a little more care when placing equipment and asked before placing some items of equipment on (finished wood) floor and furniture if those areas were OK for placement. Nothing was damaged, but I was a little concerned damage might occur when I noticed the placement. I don't know how one can tell the quality of actual cleaning for this type of service since you can't see into the ducts, but total tme here was 1 1/2 hrs and he showed me how much collected on the furnace filter and, (when I asked) solid waste in top of collection bin (can't view dust in bottom of bin). I would use them again for this service.

Surprised that he was agreeable to come on a Saturday. Showed up on time. Was professional in workmanship. Cleaned up after himself, showed me the debris that he pulled out of ducts, told me of service plans available and when he recommended repeat service.

went great except scheduling process is confusing

It rained very hard that day and I felt sorry for the young gentleman, because he had to go outside to blow out the dryer vent. Not only did he have to get on a ladder but had to unscrew the cage we had placed around the vent so birds wouldn't make a nest inside. It took him a average of 10 to 15 minutes in the rain. They did an excellent job, because I thought I would later go outside to clean up any mess left -- there was none. I am thinking about having check my whole house venting system. Thank you, Simon.

The service was efficient and professional.

It went great! They were fantastic. They were able to accommodate my schedule first of all and they were of thorough and actually did some extra work that we agreed on and they found some things and they really did a great job. It was just $50 for all the extra work and it was really a great deal.

Simon was the technician who cleaned our air ducts. He did an excellent job in a 2 hour time period. This was an Angies List Deal that cost $179; and I paid an extra $50 to have our air ducts sanitized after they were cleaned. The sanitization is to last 6 months. Due to the type of furnace we have and its placement, we did not have to have a hole cut into our furnace, nor any small 1" holes cut into our air ducts, as all our air ducts vents are in our floor. Our home is built over a crawl space, but Simon did not need to enter it. He used a cleaning whip, to loosen the dirt from our air ducts, which was inserted through each air duct vent in our floor, one at a time. Then all this dirt was sucked into the H.E.P.A. filter system that was hooked up to our furnace in our garage. This process worked very well; as a lot of dirt was removed. I did not ask about a video inspection before and after, nor was it offered; but I will ask for one the next time I have my air ducts cleaned. The results would be interesting.

The cleaning went find. The vents needed to be cleaned after 20 years of cats. Simon was on time, very friendly and professional. The most important item for me was that he did not try to up-sale me to a more expensive service. Will use them again in the future.

Went reasonably well. Would have helped if he had checked whether the external vent cover is closing and opening its flaps when the dryer is off and on. After he left I noticed that one of the flaps was staying open all the time. Other than that he came on time and did his job.

I had scheduled a 9:00 to 11:00 window for service. Simon called at a few minutes after 9:00 to confirm service and let me know he was going to come soon. He called when he was on his way too - I appreciated this because I had a lot of things to do that morning and was able to schedule around this service call. He arrived, surveyed the situation and immediately got to work. He did the cleaning, was pleasant and respectful and completed it in an efficient time. He even knew how to access the code he needed from the Angie's list site! Over all a pleasant and easy way to get the work done.

We originally purchased the Angies LIst deal several weeks ago. We registered with the website to setup a schedule and waited more than a week and did not hear anything back. I called to follow up and was told to register with the website so I did. Gave it 24 hours and never heard anything back... not even a confirmation of receipt. So at this point we were feeling uneasy about moving forward (it should not be this hard to get scheduled). Communication could be better and first impressions matter.

Arrived on time and went to work immediately.

He put a large vacuum on the duct work and blew compressed air down each duct into the basement where the vacuum collected all the dirt. He did a nice job and took about 2 hours. He showed me pictures before and after inside the ductwork, and all the dirt the vacuum collected when he was done. It was a good job and with the discount it was a good price.

Simon arrived on time, introduced himself, brought his tools in, went through the house telling us what he was going to do and went to work. He would often tell us about his progress. My wife and I really appreciate the fine professional job done, the hard work, and the fair cost also. Thanks again to Midwest Air Solutions and Simon for a business you can count on today.

They were able to get me in during the time I requested and showed up during the timeframe they gave me. The technician cleaned my duct work in about 3 hours and even told me how bad they were on a 1-10 scale (10 being the worst). Our home scored an 8...yuck! They told us what was found in our ducts and how long it had been since they were cleaned last. I would absolutely use them again and I will take their recommendation of cleaning them every 2-3 years.

Midwest air was friendly and got the work done, once they actually came out. they canceled several times and called at the last minute to let me know. it was frustrating because I missed three days of work due to three cancelations. their pricing is very reasonable and the work was difficult too assess. after they left, I experienced a lot of dust all over my home for about two weeks. I am not sure if this is normal after this type of service or not. if you are wanting prompt ... I might reconsider. if you are watching the wallet ... good place to go

I think everything went really well. The technician was great and he was helpful. He offered some sort of anti-bacterial that he was able to put in the vents to help clean them out. So there was that additional service, but all went well.

They finished their prior job early so they called and asked if they could arrive early. They were very polite and careful about getting dirt and snow in the house. They worked together efficiently and completed the job in about 1.5 hours. I'm very satisfied with their work and would use them again.

My experience with them was alright. There wasn’t anything good about them. It was just a deal that I came across on Angie’s List.

They did a complete cleaning of all the vents. Very professional!

It was okay. It was just a normal duct cleaning, there's nothing pretty to tell about it. Everything was fine.
