Things went great! Getting the Big Deal done took a little longer than planned, and while the ducts were being cleaned the tech also noted that the furnace blower was pretty clogged up. He put in a LOT of extra effort to clean that out, and the fee was quite reasonable. Part of the Big Deal also included a dryer vent cleaning, but since I had recently cleaned that anyway, they went ahead and cleaned out the bathroom fans instead for no extra cost.

We've used Midwest Air Solutions before (in our current house) after purchasing an Angie's List deal, and so wanted to do it again with a house we'd just purchased prior to moving in. We're very happy and would certainly use this company again in the future. We purchased a deal for only 1 system with unlimited air vents and returns, and so paid extra for the 2nd system (as expected). The technician arrived on time, was courteous and professional, and explained everything he'd be doing. Although the work took longer than expected (3-4 hours), the house is fairly large and he had to trek up multiple flights of stairs with the equipment so this seems totally normal. The house is over 100 years old, and we could easily see tons of dust and debris inside the vents and returns throughout the house prior to the cleaning, and everything looked clear and clean afterwards.

I had an excellent experience with Midwest Air Solutions. They were very flexible with scheduling around my work schedule and were friendly and helpful when I had to reschedule. My contact person, Nikki, got back to me promptly, and I received a lead call prior to their arrival. The service was excellent and thorough, and the young man, Simon, was friendly and very tolerant of my three dogs. :-) All in all, it was a positive, professional experience, and I am happy to recommend them to others.

I bought a Big Deal and it went incredibly well. They were able to fit me in their schedule at a convenient time, and stayed in communication the day of the appointment, and were even able to start a little early. He worked quickly and efficiently, no problems. I could tell a difference in air flow in some rooms after he was done, and the dryer works so much faster. Bonus--we didn't sneeze as much when we turned on the A/C.

Wonderful! They came out and performed a whole house air duct cleaning, sanitizing and dryer vent cleaning. Our air ducts had not been cleaning since the house had been built! Dust does not accumulate nearly as fast as it had prior to the cleaning. Wonderful! Would definitely use them again!

I was looking for someone to clean my air ducts (which had never been cleaned in 17 years). Found a special on Angie's list which included cleaning and sanitizing air ducts along with cleaning my dryer vent. Called Midwest and talked to Simon. I made an appointment with them and Simon came out on March 17th. He showed up on time and started work immediately. He was at my house for some time and did a very thorough job. He was professional and explained everything to me. He showed me pictures of the cleaned ducts and they looked great. I felt like he was honest and would recommend this service to anyone needing their ducts cleaned (and dryer vent).

The young man arrived punctually and was very polite and courteous. He explained each step of the process fully and worked quite efficiently. I highly recommend!

Simon was awesome! He cleaned all of my air ducts, furnace, and dryer vent. He was very thorough, friendly, and efficient. He got so much junk out of my vents, and my house feels very clean now. I bought the maintenance program so I'll get a check-up every year and full vent cleaning ever 3 years. Great experience start to finish and a really good price for this service (mine was little more than coupon because of the size of my home and number of vents). I would definitely recommend them!

Very professional. Arrived within the scheduled window. Cleaned out the ducts and it was apparent that this service had never been done. House is 36 years old and the dirt, toys and other flotsam was vintage. Simon did a great job and the price was reasonable. There was a broken duct that was discovered and the price that was quoted to repair was also reasonable and completed quickly. I would recommend Midwest Air Solutions if you need your ducts cleaned.

The person who came out was very professional and efficient. We felt like he did a great job. It took a few hours, but was not really disruptive at all.

We have our ducts cleaned out annually. Since we had our basement finished back in August, we felt it was especially important to get them done this year due to the construction and the drywall dust. I saw the deal they had posted on Angie's List for $299 but noticed the statement reading that for homes larger than 3500 sq ft, we'd need to call for an estimate. I did and was quoted $350 and was told I could pay when they arrived. On the day of the service, the weather was cold and rainy and the forecast was that it would turn to snow. They called and asked if I still wanted the service as they were afraid their equipment may make a mess if it was messy outside and they had to drag into the house. I agreed to take my chances. When Simon came, he was polite and friendly. I walked him through the home to show him where the vents were. He made every effort to get the equipment into the house without marking anything up. After an hour or so, I had to go get the kids from school. Since he expected to be there for another hour, I went to go get them. While I was out, he called me to let me know that there was a lot of construction debris in the furnace. I questioned that because we had the furnace cleaned/maintained back in November. However, I believe that it was entirely possible that his cleaning may have jarred more dust from the ducting that the furnace guys would not have touched. In any case, he said that cleaning this would add another $75. I agreed bringing my total up to $425. After all was said and done, Simon cleaned up after himself and took the same care with the equipment as he left. He was pleasant and professional the entire time he interacted with me.

The service was fine. Getting it scheduled was way harder than it should have been. My wife did all of the work and I don't know all of the details. They were here about three months after we bought the deal. There were no additional fees. They could get better at scheduling, maybe do it over the web.

This was a $299 big deal purchase. They did it in a timely fashion and the ducts were clean when they finished. They could have done it in a quicker time period.

Great! Tech arrived on time, did not wear his shoes on my new carpet, worked efficiently and finished in a reasonable amount of time. I had just had my bathrooms redone including taking out tile floors (ie, lots of dust) and the tech took extra care in getting the returns totally cleaned out.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! The service provider was supposed to take pictures before and after and clean airducts throughout house. The service provider sprayed air freshener and left a magnet and bill for additional costs. I demanded description of services actually performed and I got a robust list, but when I challenged that such service was actually performed (i.e., they said they cleaned dryer vent and it clearly had not been touched in years), they sent me a revised list of "cut and paste" of Angie's List deal. Prior to engagement, I demanded before and after pictures, which were promised numerous times, but never delivered. They also threatened to charge me a $35 "billing fee" if I did not remit payment for extra charges. I never agreed to any specific payment terms. I spent a couple of weeks trying to verify they performed any service.... my conclusion, this is really expensive air freshener!

Service was great...very personable technician. The service has really helped with dust particles in the air. I bought the full package deal because of my square footage...so no one tried to sell me anything else. Fair price for the work done. Took him about 2 1/2 hours. Kept everything clean while he worked. Cleaning is a bit noisy, but expected. I have little dogs, so they stayed at the neighbor's house while having the service. My house feels cleaner!

Excellent service - very professional.

I hadn't had this done before but had been told it would be noisy and create a big mess. Not so. The technician was conscientious and not intrusive. The work was done in about 3 hours. I felt that this was a thorough job. I will use them again.
