Description of Work: To begin with only on technician showed up, he stated the other person slept in and would not be here. I had to physically help him bring in and get his machine to were my furnace was. He went into my crawl space to check ductwork and when he came out he did not wear shoe coverings over his shoes and I had to ask him to remove his shoes(after he tracked some mud into my house.)At this moment I was questioning my judgment on hiring this company. After completion he showed me what was in his hepa vacuum and stated this was what he got outta my ductwork. I responded to him I really can't tell because when I helped bring your machine in I glanced into that open area and it looked the same to me. A free dryer vent cleaning was also included in the service. When he was pulling off the louvers a couple broke. He said no worries I've got some extra in the van....well guess what, he left without replacing them. I had to call their company and got their vm. The return call I got, which to my vm did not make me happy in the least. Travis the owner, stated that it was my responsibility to maintain and upkeep those louvers with new ones every few years and I considering that a slap to the face. I keep a well maintained home and didn't appreciate his input. He did say though that his technician would come back out to replace. When his technician came back out he had the wrong size louvers. He had to run to lowes to get new ones. When he came back he placed the new louvers on. I stepped in my house while he was doing that and he knocked on my door to let me know he was finished. I told him thank you for making this right, and he said no problem. As he was leaving I examined what the new louvers and 2 fell right off, they were cracked and broke! I immediately waved him back as he was pulling out of my drive. When he came back to look at what I told him about he looked at them and got very frustrated and looked at me and said he put them on right and asked if I had done anything to them. I looked at him and said "really?" As I looked back down at the dryer vent and outta the corner of my eye he was rolling his eyes. I told him to go get some new louvers and get this done right and I was over this. He did finally come back and placed the louvers on correctly. Oh and I recently had my home inspected (after vent cleaning) and there were multiple spots were my heating ductwork is disconnected! I will never use this company again and would not advise anyone to use such an unprofessional company.

Description of Work: I took advantage of a Angie's List deal to have the air ducts cleaned. They did a great job communicating when they would be here, what they would do, etc. and offered to include the dryer vent cleaning for an additional $50. I agreed, and the service was somewhat completed. The air ducts were cleaned, there was minimal mess and disruption and the technician was pleasant. Once he was gone, I did laundry and found that they dryer was no longer drying clothes, I proceeded to remove many many handfuls of lint out of the duct as this service was not completed properly. I notified the office that I was unhappy and did not want to pay for the service, I provided evidence of my cleanings, and they agreed not to cash my check and send it back. Overall I'm satisfied with the air duct cleaning.

Description of Work: I purchased air duct cleaning through the big deal for $179. I was told I should have air ducts cleaned on my new construction home prior to moving. This was a waste of money. I did not see a difference after they were done. The builder was very clean. The air duct cleaning men were nice and on time. However, they did mark my stairwell wall taking the heavy equipment down to the basement. I did not discover this until it was pointed out by my movers prior to moving in.
