Showed up on time and did the work quickly.

The job went very well. They came out as soon as they could; they were very responsive.

We were impressed. I sent a letter to them thanking them for their great service. They were very punctual, called me to let me know when they were on their way. There were two different workers that have done work for us and they were both neat, professional. What I liked about McNeely was that they charge by the hour rather than by the job, and it saved us $100.00. They are the only company I will use again.

I called them on the 19th of March due to the water heaters going out and after my review they were not getting gas. After their tech came out he determined that the system was more complicated than he anticipated and called another tech to come and assist him. After the other tech came out they both determined that the safety relay switch was bad and told me that they recommend waiting until Monday to get another. In the meantime they eliminated the safety gas switch and wired the blower motor to run non-stop for two days until they came back. Monday the owner Pat came out with the 1st tech to review the situation and determined that four months ago when we had the new water heater put in the tech who did it (from another company) did not install a safety switch which turns the blower motor on when the system calls for gas. So they installed a new safety device on the newer heater. Also the re-installed the safety shut off they took out on the 19th. The system worked fine for the day and then went out again. I called them back and after returning they determined a relay in the blower fan box was bad, they changed it and we were up and running again. Later that day the system stopped working and the blower fan was acting as though it was burt up, it was turning very slowly and when the heaters turned on and got too hot due to the fan not working the system shut off completely. This is part of the safety system I was told. I asked Pat if the fan was acting up as a result from his men wiring it to run non stop a few days earlier, he said no. I was not convinced and called the manufacturer and several other plumbing companies. They all said the fan is only to run when the heaters call for gas or turn on to heat the water. It is not designed to run non stop. After talking to other companies about the system and the troubles we were having I asked them what they recommend, they all said a new system with a 75/gallon power vented water heater. I asked Pat for a price and asked him to really sharpen his pencil due to the problems we had up to this point, and the fact that his company may have been the result of the fan not working properly. He called me back Monday like I asked and gave me a price of $2625.00 for a new system. I asked him if this was his best price, given the problems we had thus far and the money we had spent with his company to this point. I then asked him for the make of the water heater, he said Rheem 75,000 btu with power vent, the price he gave me on the heater was $1600.00. I was not satisfied with this and called a plumbing friend of mine. He came back with a price of $1060.00 for the heater. For the simple fact alone that after the initial charge from Mcneeley was due to inexperience and lack of knowledge and then the $600.00 mark up on the heater from Pat after I asked him to sharpen his pencil is the reason for this report. I own a service company and when and if we get into something we should not have we will work with the client. I feel this company was not personable in any way and would not ever use them again or recommend them to anyone.

My experience with them was excellent. I called on a Sunday night I had to get an emergency service because I did not want the basement to get flooded. They came out within the hour and did temporary fix on that weekend before the rain and waited for the rain to stop and then came out and fixed it. I spent $791.25 on that service.

I think I described it accurately as above. They did of course, checked the floor and sink and under it to make sure there were no more leaks. Fortunately it was a simple matter of chaulking which we did after they left (and only because the home warranty did not cover chaulking. Since I am deaf, they emailed me when the truck was coming...something that Jake's failed to do. I definely will hire McNeeley again. For once I am going to listen to my property manager who recommended them.

First rate service. The owner worked on the job himself and was very competent. Took the time to explain what we was doing and why it made sense.

I spent about $135 on that work. I have used them before and they are responsive to the calls, show up on time and the do a good job.

It took them 3 trips to find the problem and found out it was just a few screws that needs to be replaced. But the problems are fixed and I feel safe now.

They did excellent work on both jobs. On the first job, the cement in the basement was thicker than expected, resulting in additional hours of work and cost. They did remove some of the additional charges based on the estimate we were given. We were very happy with the price we agreed upon.

They do plumbing as well, but I use only their heating and AC services. They changed their name to McNeely Owned at some point and it used to be McNeely and sons before. I get my water boiler serviced by them too. They hurry and send in anyone that is available when I call them. The guys who come out have no clue about my furnace about 99 percent of the time. I have a furnace that is like a 1950 style and is only about 5 years old. McNeely replaced it about 5 years ago. In a situation like that where you heat water with gas and in-circulate it at baseboards is a pretty old method. None of the younger guys would know about such a method. I have used their services for decades and I have always been happy with them.

He showed up on time to do the work for us. He told us the price in advance. He came back when we had a question and helped us with everything that we needed help with.

They're great. They fixed something for me that my previous plumbing company couldn't fix it and I appreciated that. They answered my initial phone call immediately.

I live out of town, so I needed to coordinate the replacement long distance. David (the person who found the problem) called me to explain the problem and then was the one who did the repair when I was able to be in town. He arrived on time and was finished quickly. He made sure that he explained the process and showed me what he had done. The office people were very nice and efficient and worked with me well.

We contracted for a bathroom remodel with Flooring Specialist in Carmel. They hired McNeely Owned to install a tub and quoted $500. McNeely indicated to me that they would allocate A PLUMBER for an entire day in case there were gliches. Their maximum rate is $60 an hour, which would translate into $480. McNeely sent a plumber who installed a tub and left with the assumption that the work was done. The next day our tile installer discovered that the faucet, which was available to the plumber would not fit over the tub because the faucet connector was too low on the deck. The same plumber came back, over my objections to raise the connector, which required removing the tub. Then, despite being told that the valves for the faucets were at the right level, he raised them and we could see the mechanism under the faucet handles. So they had to remove the tub and lower the valves. When the tub was reinstalled there were cracks in it. It had to be replaced. They sent a bill for $3,960.91

INSTALLATION WAS SLOPPY. THERE WAS AN AIR LEAK AND PIPES WERE NOT FLUSH TO SIDE OF FURNACE AND WALL. COMPLAINT WAS MADE. WORK WAS RE-DONE PROMPLTY WITH NO CHARGE. APOLOGIES GIVEN.

THE GUY SEEMED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. HE SPENT A COUPLE HOURS WORKING AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING. HE GOT IT FIXED AND IT HAS BEEN WORKING FINE SINCE.

DID GOOD WORK, WAS VERY UP FRONT ON PRICING, ADVISED HE COULD DO IT AT OVER-TIME RATES, OR SAVE AROUND $200 BY RETURNING ON MONDAY, AND HE WAIVED THE SECOND SERVICE CALL FEE. THE WORK SEEMS FINE SO FAR.
