I was very pleased with the quote. They tried to repair it and it was cost prohibitive. They returned it without charge.

They were reasonable priced. Their service was about a 24 hour turn around.

I brought the items to be sharpened into the store on a Friday and they were ready for me on Monday. He did an excellent job of sharpening and his price was very reasonable. He also oiled the tools.

While Neil wasn't actually able to help with the problem I was having (I needed someone who could service an out-of-warranty DeLonghi dehumidifier), he went out of his way to help me find someone who was willing to give the repair a try.

I took the mixer because the head was tilting down at an alarming angle. The shop owner spent over 30 minutes looking at the problem and fixed it. He told me the mixer would need servicing and quoted a price around $75.00. Since my mixer is old, I told him I would definitely be back for service and asked how much I owed him for fixing the head. He refused payment! We took the mixer and shaver back a few weeks later and it turned out both repairs were less than the estimate to service the mixer. Honest, punctual and friendly. We will use this service again and again.

I took my old parts with me and the man showed me that these parts would work just fine with my razor. He was very pleasant to work with. He also found some other parts that are hard to locate and I purchased those.

Very well. The razor was fixed in about 8 mins, and thus kept us from having to replace it. The vacuum was "trashed" and they took care of disposing of it for me. I felt that I got very honest feed back as this company does not sell vacuums. They did not charge for the assessment of the vacuum. They were fast, and I felt very honest with me. I would use them again.

I had purchased a small appliance through amazon.com and it was defective. Manufacturers Service Co. was one of two places listed in Indy for repair/replacement of the appliance. Having never dealt with the process of returning something purchased online, I was extremely grateful and surprised at how easy Mr. Welty made it. If I'd known about his store prior to buying online, I would not have done so and just dealt directly with him. He was very helpful, kind and honest. If I ever need any service provided by his store, I will not hesitate to return.

The curling iron was very old and no longer manufactured. But it was a "favorite", and I could not get along without it! They determined that the cord was bad and were able to find a similar cord from a different brand that would work. The toaster belonged to my mother-in-law (who was just recently hospitalized). It also was very old and a type no longer manufactured. To my mother-in-laws total delight, they were able to repair it. It is definitely true that most small appliances are not worth the money to repair - they can be replaced for less. But both of these items were worth more to us to have them repaired.

It was great to get all my knives done at once without having to leave them. They are very pleasant and I would definitely use them again.

I had been looking on the internet and in the phone book for someone to sharpen my very dull kitchen knives with no luck. All I could find were co's that would sharpen lawn mower blades and such! After joining Angie's List, low and behold, I found this company. I dropped off 11 knives, ran some errands, and came back to pick them up. I now have sharp knives again! The price was very reasonable, and the service was great! I will use them again.

They quickly serviced the machine (oiled and new gasket) and I was able to pick it up two days later. They were very friendly and I appreciated not having to be without the machine for very long.

I loved this place because it's a pain to drop them off and pick them up a few days later at the hardware stores and craft stores. He did it while I waited and it was cheaper.

Mr. Welty is very experienced and knowledgeable and took the time to show us the problem and explain what needed to be done. Magazines are available for while-you-wait service. The store is open Saturday morning to midafternoon which is very convenient for us.

One of few places that would do the work on dehumidifiers and Sears wanted $30 to trouble shoot. Manufactures did not charge for estimate and troubleshoot. Had to order motor from Sears but still had fast turnaround.
