Mac's Septic Service

We located it beforehand to save money. They came within a few days of my request. Surveyed the tank. Emptied it and gave us a few tips for a good septic tank. We had no idea how long it had been, but we knew the people from who we purchased the home hadn't had it cleaned and we had lived here three years, so we wanted to make sure we knew of its cleaning and what shape it was in. Mac's assured us it was in good shape.

They carefully moved the old and fragile doghouse to do the job, then moved it back. The men were polite and professional under somewhat difficult circumstances.

We called and set up an appointment at a time convenient for us. I ended up being late so missed them; they called back and rescheduled to swing by again later in the day when I was home. When I told them that I was told I should clean out my tank every other year, he said that my tank actually looked great and I could wait three years before the next tank cleaning. Very pleasant and professional; I appreciated their accommodating me even though I was the one who was late for the scheduled appointment.

Prompt for estimate, didn't jump to the most extreme expensive repair like previous companies estimates. Great service, explained everything and took time to answer my questions.

They were there right on time. They allowed me to watch. They pumped it.

The truck arrived at the house on time and they went right to work. In a short amount of time they had pumped out our septic tank and then waited for any runback from the pipes and drainage field and then pumped out the remainder. They were professional and efficient. We have used them for years, having them pump out our tank every 2 years and even had them replace our drainage field years ago when we had some broken tiles. We have not had any problems since then.

The work was done in a timely fashion. His crew was excellent and courteous.

Very Well... Pretty straight forward process pumped the tank out. They were on-time, polite and fast.

I had an appointment set up for 2:00pm to have a routine pumping/clean out of our septic tank. At 2:20pm I called to make sure someone was still coming. I was told that he would be there, but had experienced difficulties at a previous stop. The poor guy showed up at about 5:15pm. It was extremely hot out and he had had to do considerable digging at earlier job, but he still came. It would have been very inconvenient for me to reschedule to a different day, but time was not an issue. I do wish he had not left a trail of septic residue across the front yard when he removed the hose, but it washed away with the next rain. All in all, Mac's is cheaper and more reliable than any other septic service I have used and I will definitely call them again.

We knew we had a finger system problem because of the overflow in our front yard. The Dept of Health gave us three vendors from which to request estimates to correct. All wanted to replace system which would have required not only digging up the front yard but also the driveway at a cost of several thousand dollars. Mac's was the only one who thought they could correct problem by repairing the system; his thought being we could 'buy' several years. We are currently experiencing no problems and are able to flush commodes in both bathrooms without the problems we were experiencing before. Quite happy with the results.

I had an issue with my septic tank. The Board of Health got involved. They had to go by the Board of Health's instruction and inspection. They had to dig up my yard and did a great job re-grading my yard. The Board of Health made them do some additional work, which resulted in a bit of a price hike. They were prompt and started between 8-9 in the morning. There were three of them that came out. Any time that I went out they would stop and explain to me what they were doing and I really appreciated it. They were very nice! I would recommend them for septic services!

Our experience was a good one. Their guy arrived, we told him our problem (odor in the basement), and he agreed that pumping the tank would likely resolve it. Afterwards he explained to us everything he did in detail, as well as his thoughts on our tank, its size, and how he's pretty sure pumping it would take care of our problem, which it has thus far. As others have said on their feedback, we appreciated his honesty and lack of trying to upsell us to other unnecessary services. Will plan on using them again in the future.

I called early on a Friday morning and I told the gentleman who answered the phone that we were having problems with our septic tank and I asked if someone could come out that same day. The gentleman asked what type of problem we were having and after I told him, he said it sounds like the tank needed pumping and he said he had a truck coming out this way and they would be able to pump the tank sometime in the afternoon. He told me that someone would call me when they were on the way and he was very polite, kind and knowledgeable. I did get a phone call about 15 minutes before they arrived. I think the servicemen's names were Jason and Chris, they were both very professional and went right to work. They performed the work very quickly, and advised me that they had to pump more than the 1,000 gallons that I had been price quoted for and they got approval from me for the exta charge before they pumped the rest. They checked the condition of the tank and told me everything was okay, they were very honest and did not try to sell me anything, unlike to the other septic company that my husband had out last time. I highly recommend Mac's Septic Service and I plan on calling Mac's from now on for any septic system concern.

The drivers were punctual, did the work as promised. While they were working on the job, they were willing to answer questions about the system and what should be done to keep it in good working order. They were honest about the pricing for the services and did not try to up-sell during the job. One suggestion that I'll remember for next time is to have this done in a dry season so that the spring runoff waters from the leach field don't drain back into the tank and refill it as it is being pumped out.

Called on a Tuesday to have our septic system pumped out since we had just moved in and did not know when it had been completely last. Mac's was able to come out Wed afternoon since that fit into our schedule best. Driver was professional, and was able to explain what he was seeing with our system. He called before he came out since he knew he only had room for a 1000L and would either need to be later than expected or could pump that much. He explained that this would typically be enough for a typical system. Will definitely be calling again when we need it.

We started noticing our drains were slow, so it was time to empty the septic. This is our first home with one,so we were clueless. I called another company first but they were already booked for the day. I called Mac's and they said the first truck that could would be there, so we were on the and quot;on calland quot; list. It was only two hours later and Mac's showed up. I only knew where the tank was, not the lid. They found it right away, dug it up, and got my tank emptied. When he came to the door with the bill he suggested things we could do so we can go a little longer between draining. Both men were very polite and professional. I will be using Mac's from now on.

Our tenant called and said the plumbing was backing up. We called Mac's in the morning, they scheduled with the tenant and went out that day! Mac's found the septic and pumped it out taking care of the problem right away. The office was great at helping and getting the billing out. We would highly recommend them and certainly will use them again when the need arises!

We were starting to experience backup into our floor drain in the laundry room so we knew it was time to pump the septic and it needed to be done soon because of wet weather. When I called for an appointment they were able to get to me the next day. The technician was on time. I provided him with the general location of the septic clean out and he was able to find the port quickly. The technician saved us an additional $100 by giving us the option of pumping the last 50 gals or leaving it. After pumping the septic the technician restored the ground. We have used Mac's Septic Service in the past and will use them again.

I called the office of Mac's Septic Service and was informed that someone would be out soon to pump my septic tank. Richard came out soon and dug out my sewer lid and pumped my tank. he was very professional and I am happy with the service performed. I have used another company in the past, but this is my favorite company. I will use them in the future. thanks Richard
