Great experience. Sales rep was easy to work with and explained our options very well. Individual doing the installation arrived a couple days after the purchase and were in and out within an hour.

I called 1-877-go-Lowe's this morning and got an immediate estimate from Lowe's national hot water heater center. The local store called me back within an hour, and they confirmed the model number, costs, warranty coverage, and said that the unit could be installed this afternoon. A few hours later, the Lowe's contractor, David, came out and installed the new unit.

They were very responsive. They came up with a good plan. The job moved as fast as it could move as there were a number of elements that had to be called on. For example, we had to order a cast iron sink, and a new spigot for the sink. We also had to order handles for the cabinets. They helped us with all of that. The price was a little on the high side but we knew that coming in because we were looking for a place that could do all the work we were needing done.

Visited Lowe s to buy carpet, were told for our 600 sq. ft. bedroom & 2 closets install would be $159.00. Paid $35 for installer to measure. Installer called to set appointment but did not leave a phone number, so I had to call Lowe s and fight the phone tree for 20 minutes to get the phone. Installer made the estimate on Wednesday and I assumed they would order, but 5 days later I was called to pay, went to the store, invoice was wrong, had new invoice which was also wrong, had a third bill created (on which they jacked up install to $199), and I tried to pay: in all 45 minutes in the store. Installer called 10 days later for appointment, said they would be at my house between 11 & 1 pm, they showed up over an hour late, without even calling to let me know. Was told install would take 3 hours, it took over 5 hours. Install is OK; doesn t look a good as old carpet in corners, etc.

They called us once the appliance was in and we scheduled a time for them to deliver and set it up. With Lowe's in general my thoughts on having to mail in a rebate for free delivery is unconscionable.

They had the blinds in sooner than they said they would, and it all went well.

Installer called in advance and we agreed on a time. He arrived on time, reviewed the job with me and began work. He was very neat and cleaned up when he finished. He explained the operation and left the manuals. So everything went very well and I am completely satisfied.

We had very good service. It was installed promptly and they did a really good job. The washer was installed in the basement.

While waiting for the contractor Lowe's called to reschedule because the store sold the unit we purchased. On the second appt, the installer couldn't do the work because he couldn't manage the necessary electrical work. On the third appointment, the electrician subcontractor was a no-show. To their credit, a member of the installation department got her husband who "moonlights" to take care of the electrical work. The water heater got replaced but the well pump, sump pump, and water softener were not working after Lowe's installer did his work. Also, the electrical isn't grounded because the husband moonlighter didn't know how to do this. The Lowe's subcontractor said that it wasn't his fault that the sump and water softener weren't working but he could come out and take a look. By this time, I decided to have an Angie's List plumber and electrician fix things. It took 3 appts for 1 job. I'll buy hardware and tools there but no more installation jobs!

We experienced disappointments from the very start. First, E & S (installer) missed the first appointment completely and tried to reschedule second one at the last minute. Our report to salesman about this resulted in a lie. He told us that they had their own in-house installers and we would not have to deal with E & S. When the carpet came in they were 4 hours late in getting to the house and only then were we informed that the carpet was short and that they could not complete the job in one day. Lowe's was able to secure a matching piece and it was rushed. We allowed E & S to begin installation, expecting completion that day or the next. It was finished on Friday. We found many places on the newly painted walls which needed to be touched up and also a lot of scarring on the baseboards which required re-staining.

After paying for the dishwasher, it was installed within 24 hours.

The people were prompt. When the installers were not given all of the materials, they put in better materials at no charge. They whole process was painless in that they were prompt, efficient.

Pretty good, we got a good price on the dishwasher through rebates for the purchase and putting it on a Lowe's card. We did wait an extra week while the dishwasher had arrived and the installer sat on the follow up. Once we set an install appointment everything was quick and easy.

I made my decision that evening and Bob at Lowes had two guys out here the next day! They were very responsive knowing that my water heater could burst at any time. They removed and installed my new Whirlpool water heater. The two repairman were respectful, cleaned up, answered all my questions, patiently showed me how to work the unit, and shared what I should do to maintain it. How great is this! They didnt damage any walls, doors, or stairs. I enjoyed the two guys!

Very smooth transaction and delivery. Price was the best in the city.

I was very disappointed in how Lowe's manages its contractors. The leak was supposed to be fixed before closing, and their contractor lied to Lowe's, the realtor, and us. Then it took over a month with weekly phone calls and finally a visit to the store manager to get Lowe's to send over another contractor to fix the leak. Lowe's is not concerned with customer service, only with making a buck. I would not recommend Lowe's for any service/install work. Lowe's cannot adequately control their contractors.

I ordered laminate countertops through Patrick and Jeff. They were both very helpful and provided some tips to save me some money. The countertops were delivered on time and look great in my kitchen!

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. I WORKED WITH ANDREA AND SHE WAS WONDERFUL. SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO FIND A PART ON A BLIND THAT HAD BROKEN. SHE REALLY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

One of the nicest salespeople I have ever dealt with. We went to 3 other appliance stores and based on price and customer responsiveness we decided to purchase our refrigerator at Lowes.

We updated all of our outside lighting and found Lowes to have the best price. The salespeople were very helpful and even had some great suggestions.

We purchased carpet at Lowe's, who worked with us to give us a sale price for a sale that was occurring prior to our final decision to purchase. We paid a $30 ''detail fee'' to have the estimate done, and were given the sale price after that. Lowe's also gave us the lower floor price, as opposed to the price showing in the computer. They followed-up with us during the installation process (completed by a sub), and the carpet and installation were completed within the time frame provided by the salesperson.

Went in to purchase custom paint, Yolanda at the paint counter was rude and had a bad attitude. When someone tried to ask her a question she would give rhetorical comments and wouldn't answer them. Another guy came up and asked her a question and when he walked away she commented that "I am going to strangle your brother if he asks me another question." Another guy was trying to match paint and she wouldn't even give him a straight answer. The whole situation was aggravating, next time I go back to Lowes for more paint (I like this kind of paint) and she is at the counter I will go to another Lowe's.

VERY DISORGANIZED. ONCE THE ORDER WAS PLACED, NO ONE AT LOWE'S SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO TO GET THE TEAR-OUT ARRANGED. I SPOKE TO 6 PEOPLE AND GOT 6 DIFFERENT ANSWERS. THE PLUMBING WORK IS TERRIBLE. THIS IS UNFORTUNATE, BECAUSE THE FABRICATOR DID A FANTASTIC JOB AND THE SOLID-SURFACE COUNTER TOP IS GREAT. THE PLUMBING AND FABRICATION WERE SUBCONTRACTED. THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE.

RAY HELPED SELECT AND DELIVER A NEW DRYER. THE INSTALLATION WAS EASY AND STRAIGHTFORWARD. $500 FOR THE DRYER. THEY CAME AS SCHEDULED AND WERE PROMPT AND POLITE.

WE PURCHASED A WASHER AND DRYER FOR A NEW HOUSE, AND SCHEDULED TO HAVE IT DELIVERED ON OUR MOVE-IN DAY. LOWE'S CALLED IN THE MORNING TO CONFIRM THE DELIVERY, AND CALLED 30 MINUTES AHEAD TO LET US KNOW THEY WERE COMING. WHEN THEY GOT THERE, WE DISCOVERED THE HOUSE HAD A GAS DRYER-- NOT ELECTRIC LIKE WE PURCHASED! THE DELIVERY GUYS WERE VERY NICE AND HAD NO PROBLEM RETURNING THE ELECTRIC ONE TO THE STORE. IT ALSO WAS NOT A PROBLEM TO PROCESS THE RETURN AND PURCHASE THE CORRECT DRYER. WHEN THEY RETURNED TO INSTALL THE GAS DRYER, THE INSTALLER DID AN OKAY JOB. THE STAIRS TO OUR BASEMENT ARE VERY NARROW, AND HE HAD A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING THE DRYER IN AND THE OLD ONE OUT. HE DID DAMAGE THE WALL A LITTLE MORE THAN I WOULD HAVE LIKED, WHICH WAS UNFORTUNATE. BUT, THE STAIRS WERE VERY NARROW AND HE DID NOT DO ANY INTENTIONAL DAMAGE.
