I ordered service for the furnace and A/C. On first visit they only checked the furnace so I called to let them know that I had also paid for tune-up on the A/C. I left a few messages through Angie's list as well as using phone. Eventually they got back with me and performed both services, but it just took some time to get a response. Other than that everything went great. Repair people were very friendly and punctual.

Showed up on time. Great Service. I would use there services in the future.

Work was not done due to scheduling conflicts.

Virgil came by and was very professional. He explained in detail, once to my husband and then again to me once I got home. He explained what needed to happen and what may happen later on. No pressure, very honest, and very personable. He went above and beyond I feel because we've had service before on other items in the house and this was by far the best service we had for our furnace. We will be asking for Virgil for our next heating/air needs.

I have never used Love before and chose them because they were a major sponsor of a church fundraiser. I couldn't have been more pleased. The technician was punctual, professional and did a thorough check of our system. I was so happy with the service that I purchased a service agreement from them.

Inspector arrived promptly as scheduled and performed all associated maintenance. He found a loose electrical connection that was preventing our heat pump from kicking on. He repaired the connection and did not charge us extra for the repair.

Bruce arrived a little early (on time), and started checking the air-handler. He was very thorough in his examination - he found that a few screws were missing, found some replacements that would work and installed them. He tested the electronics, and found that the capacitor that controlled the blower fan was very weak. He explained that the weak capacitor would cause more energy to be used, and also replacing the part would cause the blower to engage much faster, and i would not need to worry about the part failing in the near future. He had the correct part in stock on his truck, and was able to replace it right away. He gave me a couple options: he priced out the part by itself, and also at a discounted rate if purchased with an annual service agreement. The agreement would covers two more service calls- one in 6 months, and one in a year since the Angie's List deal covered the present service call. The difference between the price of the policy with the discount for the part was small compared to the cost of the part by itself apart from the policy, so I purchased the agreement. Bruce then went to the outside and checked out the heat pump. Everything else was in good working order. Bruce was very friendly, thorough, and was a pleasure to work with. I would gladly recommend Love's Heating and Air Conditioning in the future.

We got the seasonal check up special. The guy came and inspected and gave us an estimate for repairing our dryer vent that wasn't venting-- estimate for hundreds of dollars. We got a second company to come out and they found a tear in the exhaust hose connecting dryer to wall that fixed the problem (simple cheaper repair). Guess Love's missed that. Would have cost us a ton of money and a huge hassle in the house repair to address their oversight. Also, Love's guy disappeared during the tune up. We called the company headquarters to ask what happened after half an hour and they yelled at home for apparently leaving to use a bathroom elsewhere. Awkward!!!

Geothermal unit was constantly going into shutdown after a few minutes running in AC. Rick from Loves promptly came and after a quick period was able to diagnose the problem, which required going under the house and checking some valves. He didn't have the part, but was able to call around and locate it. He took the time to drive down and get the part and within a few hours had us back up and running. Service was great, scheduling was quick, and price reasonable. I also used the discounted service repar coupon so that also reduced the price. Highly recommend them in the future.

Everyone involved were great. The unit has run every since installed. It needed service on 9-26-14 and the tech spent a lot of time trying to make sure everything was in working order. I would recommend Love to anyone needing Heating or Air Conditioning installation or service. I bough my home in 2012 and the high efficient Trane heating and air-conditioning were installed by Love in 2010. Love's entire team has been nothing but helpful at all times.

I have an old boiler, and this winter I had a steam leak in my bathroom wall. Rick came out and gave me a much lower quote than my usual guys. He came on Friday and had to cut out a section in the garage wall behind the downstairs bathroom. My house was built in 1920, so nothing is easy to repair. He spent 6 hours here, going into a tiny crawl space and working on the problem. He could not get one of the pipes to "give", so he returned on Monday to finish the job. He was here another 6 hours and called in some help. He really knows what he is doing. He managed to get the old pipes out and replace them with new. He cleaned everything up in the house and the garage. I was grateful that the hole in the wall is much smaller than I thought it would be. Therefore, I can do the repair myself. I highly recommend these guys, as they are very knowledgeable and professional.

I have been using them for about 20 years now. They show up on time for the appointments. They are courteous and polite. It is a great outfit to work with. I have no complaints with them.

When my 25 yo central A/C unit stopped cooling I expected that calling for repair service would only get a sales push for a new unit. The technician examined the unit and confirmed that it was indeed low on coolant and therefore not working. He quoted prices for recharging the unit and further examining the unit to determine where the leak was and repairing it that I saw as prohibitive. He offered to provide options for replacing it with a new unit. I declined and decided to use a window unit to cool the house. That's worked out very nicely. I got what I expected for my $30.

This was simply a diagnosis. We did not have this vendor make the repair.

They replaced the heat coil after they recommended it would be a fully functioning system with the repair. However, when reloading the system, they used an alternative Freon instead of the one recommended by the manufacturer and we discovered later they installed a larger heat coil than our unit required. I had a home warranty and due to the wrong Freon it invalidated this warranty. Through the winter and summer we had high electric bills averaging over $1000 compared to the last 3 years. We ended up having someone replace the whole HVAC system. I tried to resolve this issue directly with Love and they stated they would replace the unit or apply a credit. During our negotiations, they offered to give us a credit but their pricing for a new system was higher than other competitive estimates I received even with the credit. This was an insult to try to make money off of us after we incurred higher electrical bills due to their poor workmanship installing the wrong heat pump part and inferior Freon.

Our A/C unit went out. I got on Angies List, found Love Heating and Air and purchased a coupon to have them come and diagnose the problem. We have a Down Syndrome daughter with a heart defect that can not be exposed to extreme heat or cold so we asked if someone could come that day or the next day and unfortunately they were too busy to meet that time frame so we went with another company. Just wondering....Is that coupon I purchased refundable?

It took about a total of a half an hour and fixed the capacitor. I would use again.

I was pleased and it was great. They're prompt, punctual that they were here when I called them. They're more reasonable than any other companies I've contacted. They worked very well and they leave no mess. They were very receptive and I would recommend them to other people.

I am happy with them. They are prompt and on time for the appointment. They are easy to deal with. There is usually one technician here doing the work and I felt the price was reasonable for what they did.

The service went fine. They came that same day I called them. The only thing I did not like is they were trying to change my insurance over to them.

They came out and looked at our furnace, which had been cycling off and on for quite some time. He cleaned the filter and told us that it was cycling because the furnace was too large for the house size. He also recommended getting our air ducts redone -- we knew that they were poorly laid out, but the tech said that they were the worst he'd ever seen, and he had been in the business for over 10 years.
