I had made arrangements to have the air conditioning spring check up performed between the hours of 9-12 on May 9. At 12:15 pm the office called and told me the technician was tied up on a call but I would be the next on the board. At 2:00 no one had arrived so I called the office. I was told that I was indeed the next person on the board but that the technician was still on the morning call. Since I had wasted most of the day waiting I rescheduled. I'm hoping they arrive on time. I understand that unexpected things come up but it seemed to me that they could've tried to send another technician that day. Since I have an annual service agreement with them and had already paid for this service I'll give them another chance. The technician arrived today, May 20, exactly on time. He spent at least 40 minutes checking the air conditioner and cleaning it. Everything went fine.

LOVE'S performance from start to finish was exemplary. On time, flexible, detail oriented, cleaned up work area, polite. Customer convenience and satisfaction is at the top of their service.

We had new furnance/ ac installed in Sept. 2012. There was an issue with the new thermostat. We use the thermostat to lower the heat at night and a couple of times the heat did not re-set to the wake temperature. I called and Josh was there within an hour to replace the thermostat - no issues, no hassels (under warranty). It was done quickly and professionally. Loved it and love the furnance!

The serviceman explained why the leak was happening, and told me that it would not be a problem if I didn't mind a little water draining over the basement floor (I don't). The serviceman was clean, neat, and helpful. I was struck by the fact that although the clear solution was to replace the water heater, the serviceman didn't even mention that possibility except for noting it on the bill. This is no-pressure sales at it's finest! I will replace the heater later this year, and will definitely go to Love for that job.

From the friendly service to the professial work it went great.

The sales rep, Jon Love, was very responsive and was able to come to the house for a quote within a week of my call. He was very easy to work with and was knowledgeable about their products and level of effort required to complete the job. We got the work scheduled quickly in just 2 weeks' time. I wanted to replace my furnace/AC/water heater units with high-efficiency units and a tankless water heater. I was pleased with the options for the furnace/AC units (Carrier at three price points), but wished there were more options for the tankless water heater, as the Navien unit was more expensive than I initially expected. After doing some research, the unit got good reviews for quality and performance, so I was okay with a slightly higher price for a quality unit. Jon said the installation would take three days, and the team stuck to the time line. The installation was led by Scott, who was very professional and once again easy to work with. The installers were very clean, and in the words of my wife, "those guys were really nice!" The installation is first-class - piping, ductwork, and sealing surfaces are all neat and precise. I like the fact that Love is a local, family-run business that takes pride in servicing the community. They came recommended by several close friends, and I was pleased that they lived up to the recommendations. Job well done.

They did not give the side AC unit I though I was going to get. They gave me a bigger one which I'm not sure is better. They also moved a humidifier to do the service, but now its difficult to get into to change the filter.

I was more than a little worried that I would need a new furnace. In spite of the fact that my furnace was installed only five years ago, the entire heating and air conditioning unit was down more often than it was up. I stopped in at the 10th street location and told the whole story of the units down time, the countless other people that had either gotten it running or not and what they supposedly did to it. I spoke with Chris Love and he didn't encourage me to buy a new unit, instead he wanted one of his top servicemen to check it out to make sure it was properly installed and not damaged in some way. It was the first of the cold weather and his office staff insisted that I not wait in the usual schedule, but get my call in the next day. The service man arrived in a timely manner and was very polite, but what impressed me most was how through he was. It turned out that I had two parts not working and both were covered by the warranty, so I was delighted that the cost to me was so low. I highly recommend this company and I plan to have them service the unit twice per year!

Everything went very smoothly , no problems were encountered

We were without heat this winter and the other company we had a service agreement with said there was nothing they could do for us at the time. I called Love and they did some research and said they could get the parts the other company said they couldn't get. After consulting with them we decided to go ahead and replace the unit. They brought out portable heaters to keep us warm until the unit could be installed.

I received three estimates before we made the decision to go with Love's Heating & Air. Jon came out immediately and gave us a quote. He gave us three choices on the equipment explained how everything would work and did not try to sell us on anything that we did not need. They were also the best in price by far. The duct work not being properly installed when the home was built - 15 years ago - was part of our problem with the old system. It is a two zone operation that never worked before they fixed the problem. The crew that put the systems in and changed out the ductwork had to work in an attic that was really hot. They never complained! Super high five to them!!! Still need to receive some rebate monies but we were very please with this company.

They have been servicing the air conditioner unit at my home for many years. They came out for a service call last time. My unit was running, but not cooling my home. The technician came out and was able to solve the problem for me immediately. They realized there was a possibility a former employee, who did not live up to their standards, could have underperformed on the last service call. They are very customer oriented and go above and beyond. They did not charge me for the follow-up call.

They were prompt and responsive for a weekend call.

I've used them for years. They're punctual, return phone calls and they do good work.

I don't have anyone to compare them to so to rate them it would B's and C's across the board. they show up when they are supposed to, they do what they are supposed to do and they get in and get out.

They are prompt, do an excellent job, and don't add on unnecessary charges.

Our son's furnace died unexpectedly. We called one of the top rated companies and got a quote to replace it. For comparison' sake, we also called Love Heating & Cooling for a comparison. We've used Love in the past and had been very satified with them. When we got their quote, we wer pleased to see the same furnace at a lower price. The service men arrive on time, and make the excahnge and hook up quickly and easily. They also spotted a dangerous leak in one of the pipes, which they fixed at no charge. Our family has used Love several times and the past and will continue to use them in the future. Nice people, fiar prices and quality work.

Rob did a great job, the lines are shorter, there is no drainage on the basement and all is well. We have used Love for many years most especially for our spring and fall cleanups.

It went very smoothly. He did not charge me a dime. I was very greatful for the heaters he brought back because otherwise I would have been without heat for the night.

I did like them a lot. They were very prompt. They were reasonably priced. The price was mid-ranged.

I wanted to thank the members of LOVE heating and cooling for an excellent job of trouble shooting and installation of my heating system. For about a week I had noticed a decline in the furnaces blower capacity. (less air through the vents) Then a sound as if the blower motor had a bearing going out. This furnace was 21 years old and the blower motor had been replaced a few years before. The previous company used an AO Smith motor (much cheaper) rather than an OEM, yet charged for the latter. Since I liked the furnace I thought to contact a factory represented company. On December 6th of 2011, a gentleman called Rob arrived and began an extensive examination of my furnace. The motor was bad. (short life compared to the original) Then he went on to examine the rest of the furnace. He found the beginning of leakage in the secondary exchanger. He recommended a new furnace. (If the heat exchanger got worse there could be carbon monoxide leakage) I was put in contact with Brad. My existing furnace was 140,000 BTU and that size was no longer made. The literature only offered a 120,000 BTU model, which was just a bit too small. He contacted the supplier and found a 130,000 BTU model with newer technology that gave it about the same output as my old unit. I agreed and he scheduled an installation for the next morning. That night the blower motor failed completely. I jerry rigged an old blower and kept the heat running. On December 7th of 2011, Marcos and Justin arrived with the new furnace. They were very efficient and knowledgeable about removing and adapting the new furnace into the existing space. The newer technology made the physical dimensions of the new furnace much smaller, complicating the work. By early afternoon the system was installed. Earlier I had purchased a programmable thermostat which I had not yet installed. When I asked if they could hook it up they readily agreed. When the furnace was fired up I noticed a big increase in the airflow and the heat went up quickly. Then came the time of reckoning. I had asked previously if there were any specials or discounts available for seniors or other affiliates. They said no, that they relied on a fair price and good work to speak for themselves. To my pleasant surprise the bill was very reasonable. Then on top of that they supplied the paperwork for several rebates for high efficiency furnace installations. The quality and speed of service that I received from all of the representatives of LOVE heating and cooling was outstanding. I enjoyed the good customer service. Both the technician and the Love office called to tell me once he was on his way to my home. I appreciated the lack of pressure to buy a new furnace. Also, he took his time and I felt he was really looking carefully at everything. He waited patiently while we checked to see if the new thermostat worked (it did) and gave me a tip as to how to check it if I were in doubt about whether it was doing its job or not after he was gone.

Love came out and made their measurements, came back and did their installation and they were done. Their efficiency was a marvel. We have an older home that challenged all the subs, but Love made it look easy.
