Great. TJ came out and figured out the issue. Signed me up for the care program and I was pleased with his efforts to help me save money. Very professional and timely!

Was able to schedule a same day service call to check sump pump. Alarm needed replacement, but technician also raised issue around age of pump and apparent difficulty fully charging.

When calling Jennifer at L.D. Plumbing, she asked me if it was the main line sewer that needed to be unplugged. I told her I didn't know what that meant. So, she explained it to me. They sent out John, who took a look, and said I needed my main line sewer unplugged, and they had a combination of snaking the sewer line, plus sending a camera down there to actually see what was going on. He performed the snaking of the sewer, then said I would need to call Jennifer back when the office was open again, to schedule the camera, as he could not do it. In the meantime, a main line sewer snaking and camera combo from L.D. Smith appeared in my email for $249 from Angie's List (Original price $454). I called Jennifer on Monday morning to schedule the camera, plus ask her if I could have the deal of $249 given it came up on my feed as soon as I had 1/2 the job completed. She said she didn't see why not. She would ask her boss and call me right back. She didn't call me back, so I called her the next day. She said she was so sorry, she hadn't spoken to her boss yet, because he was so busy. She said the camera guy was suppose to speak with me about it. When he arrived, he called his boss about it, and the boss said because I had two separate trucks come out to perform the service, that was not possible. They were under the impression that I ordered the camera inspection after the snaking, when in fact I was offered the package of both the snaking and the camera inspection before anything was performed. I called Jennifer back, and as we discussed this same thing, I told her this was like playing the old game of phone tag, where the story is completely different by the time it gets around. I asked her to call John and get the story of how he sold me the package, before anything was done, and after the snaking said he could not do the camera right then. I also told John that I was an Angie's List member, and to give me the best deal. At the time of payout, I told him I had an Angie's List coupon, which he honored. All in all, they were nice technicians. I cannot understand why they are not honoring the Angie's List deal, as any other company out there would. But, they did write me an estimate to repair some things for $13,900. In the end, the latest technician T.J. said they would honor the discount if I signed up to receive the additional work for $13,900. I wonder why they think I would hire them to do additional work, when they wouldn't give me the discount everyone else is receiving, and Jennifer has still not called me back as promised.

It was quick and clean. Took about 10 minutes to replace an old fill valve.

It went well. They came out for a diagnostic and repair later on. I thought it was a fair price. They did quality work in the 2 days they had to drill/replace. I was upset they accidentally broke our toilet when putting it back on, but the owner made it right with me. Floors are now fixed and new toilet is back on, flushing it working great!

After a horrible experience with "Zoom Mechanical" (see my review) HSA home warranty company assigned L D Smith. EXCELLENT service!!!! I can't say enough about the difference in 2 companies. They came when they said they would, went out of there way to fix, and check things. Very efficient very good at calling when on the way etc....

They had to replace the wax ring under the commode. There were some issues that made it a little harder to do than is typical, but they got it done promptly and didn't charge me extra. Very professional. Excellent job!

Their good, we use them all the time. They were here right after Thanksgiving last November of 2016. Our garbage disposal broke. The price seemed high, but I don't have much to compare it to.

Great service from the technician. Effectively addressed the issue. Even more impressive is the integrity shown by Lance, the owner. We had a misunderstanding regarding the service I requested, leading to an additional charge. I raised the concern with Lance. After speaking with the technician, he recognized the honest misunderstanding and refunded my money. This type of service and integrity is all too rare, but has certainly earned my customer loyalty.

They were very professional, explained in detail what they were doing and why, and gave me a really good price, not to mention finishing in just a day. It was not an especially simple job either, as they had to trench around a giant oak.

The installation was as expected. It took a long time (about 8 hours) to get the old unit out, repipe, get the new unit in and working. I noticed more water on the floor the next morning, so my initial reaction was that something was either misdiagnosed or the problem just wasn't fixed. I called them, and even though they were short staffed that day, they were able to come out within hours to check to see what was going on. Nothing appeared wrong and it was left over from the old units problems--the next day, the floors were much more dry so I believe they did everything they could. I think we will need to replace carpet, but by no fault to LD Smith. John was the employee that came out and he seemed to love the challenge of this difficult install. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I think I found a plumber for all future needs.

Great! I will use these guys over and over again. I had them look at 2 shutoff valves that wouldn't shutoff anymore for a basement bathroom. While they were there they we also able to fix a sump pump that another plumber stated needed to be replaced saving me $1,000+. They were kind and easy to work with.

This company did a great job. Our repairman, Mark was awesome and we would request him personally if we ever need to use this companies services again. This was an urgent repair and when we initially called they arrived to our home within an hour. They confirmed the problem and were out the very next day to complete the repair. This company very helpful and professional. Cost very reasonable as well. Special thanks to Jennifer, as well, she was so friendly and vey helpful. This company has gained a new customer for life!

Had them install a water heater 11/2016. Just found that they had damaged it prior to installation but installed it anyway without informing me. I wrote to them about it and here is their reply: Thank you for reaching out to us in regards to your water heater installation. I have reviewed your picture and your invoice history as well. Water heater installation can be quite an adventure. Getting them loaded and unloaded on our vehicles, dragging them upstairs or holding on for dear life as we go downstairs. Squeezing them around corners in homes and into tight little closets all without damaging the door trims, carpet or walls. On many occasions the water heater jackets get scratched or dented in the process. Sometimes they even come out of the box with a dent or imperfection on the jacket. In almost all cases the issue is purely cosmetic and does not affect the performance of the water heater or the warranty. The jacket of the water heater performs the task of holding insulation in place and providing a bit of “clothing” on what would otherwise be an ugly black steel tank. Our technician should have brought this to your attention and explained what I have explained above. For that I apologize. However, I can assure you that in no way is your water heater compromised nor will it’s warranty or performance be lessened in anyway. Once again, thank you for contacting us and for your business. (317)927-7186 Seems they routinely damage their products prior to installation from the way the assistant manager so cavalierly explained how commonplace it was. What if it were a stove or TV that I had purchased? Would it still be expected that I simply accept their damaged goods with no recourse? I'll let you decide if this is the type of treatment you want when selecting a plumber.

It was very helpful and got it all done and charged a very reasonable fee. He was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He explained everything he had to do and about my piping. Shawn was very helpful. I was impressed because they sent someone out the very day I called!

He had to put some work in it but he conquered. He also connected the new hoses without me asking. He was very nice and pleasant to speak with. 85

Workman worked nonstop til drain was open and clear.

For what he did it was fine, but grossly overpriced had I had him install the dishwasher. I called several smaller plumbers later and they quoted under $100 for the same job.

They did a stellar job in both instances. Furthermore, unlike Hope Plumbing (yes, I am calling them out for being poor here), their pricing was very solid (as opposed to the joke that was Hope Plumbing) and they completed the job with *no* delays. Extremely responsive and solid problem solvers. Saved five figures. Will use them exclusively on my properties.

It was great service! I had contacted three plumbers and Justin (I think his name was) showed up at the scheduled time, told me the exact time it would take, gave me two options based on fix and price, and cleaned up afterwards. He also even took some time to look at my washer and then move it into my garage for me to make it easier to remove.
