We had a leak in our water heater we were hoping would be a repair. We called LD Smith and had technician Shawn come out and he looked at it and unfortunately it needed replacement. Shawn did a great job and replaced the heater and even clued us in to a coupon on the website. We would absolutely recommend them and will use them again.

Due to water continuing to flood from basement and the emergency nature of this situation, they rearranged their schedule to come and complete the work. The owner himself was here the whole time and supervised the dig and larger pipes being put in. Now if there is ever a problem again, they can do a cleanout from outside instead of basement. This is a 100 year old house in Meridian-Kessler. They were professional and detailed, as well as easy to work with. I am grateful they were able to take care of it so fast. . Thanks to them, my underground pipes, etc.are in excellent condition.

It went great. Unclogged the drains and used shop vac to clean up water damage. Offered suggestions. Am hiring them for future installs and pipe replacements for home.

He was here, punctual, did the job. It was pretty expensive because it was after hours but did a great job. He was here last Saturday. It was $250.He was great, was here when he said he was going to be here, did the job quickly, and all the equipment they do up with. It was done and over with, and did work much better.

After having a bad experience with Mr. Plumber, I called Lance at 10 pm on a Friday night and left a message. Within 20 minutes, I had a return call and was scheduled for the next day. I was not expecting a call back that night. Lance took time to call even though he had two more calls to complete that night due to the frozen pipes from our extremely cold weather. He gave me a two hour window and told me he would call when he was on his way. Lance called and arrived on time, repaired the pipe and was very professional. It was great to have running water after two days of waiting for Mr. Plumber (who never arrived)! We are completing a few more plumbing projects in our house and will be scheduling Lance and his team. I always try to use local small businesses. Unfortunately, I called a corporate outfit because they promised next day service and we had an emergency. That company delayed our service by another 24 hours. I have learned my lesson. Great! First, Lance returned my call right away, at 8:30pm. He wanted to see if I had an emergency, and if I needed him to come out the same night. (My toilets wouldn't flush, shower wouldn't drain, etc.) Although my issue was inconvenient, I didn't need him to come out late that night. He said Kristen (I believe) would call me early the next morning to schedule. As promised, she did. Lance was at my house by 10:00am to diagnose and fix the issue. He was very friendly, professional, and got everything sorted out quickly. I would highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs!

Shawn was awesome. Quick, efficient, polite and professional. Definitely knew what he was doing. I asked him for a quote about getting a water softener installed and I definitely had sticker shock when he said $1500. So here I am looking for additional estimates because I'm sure I can find something a little more reasonable than that. LD Smith is quality plumbing and the do excellent work. If it wasn't for my home warranty deductible being $100 I can only imagine how much I would have been paying.

He was focused and when he was finished he told me what all he had done. He also told me what he could do for the basement floor.

He called ahead of time and arrived when he said he would. Explained everything well. He got it all. It took him two hours at most.

Came out immediately (including the owner). They were called to do the fact my the plumber I had hired for another ther project did not have equipment to do and did not specialize in it. They did an excellent job, were professional, and easy to work with. They not only cleared the drain, but gave me a proposal to rebuild to street at a later date (very reasonable). They also worked with the system in order to not lose any trees. They are locally owned.

I had to call them out twice, the first time it was not completely taken care of. Although i was not charged for the second service call. rather than fix it they told me i needed to buy a new toilet. I thought that was incaccutre. They were promt so there wasnt a problem with that but i feel the quality of general workmanship and fixing the problem wasn't what i was expecting.

They were punctual. They called in advance the day of the job to let us know they were on there way. They sat down with my husband and I and told us what was needed and how it could be repaired and or replaced. They had suitable footwear to use in our basement where the work was done.

Our water heater was leaking and the home warranty company put us in contact with LD Smith. The serviceman did an excellent job. We needed to have an expansion tank added and the same serviceman did the work and did an excellent job again.

It turned out well. They have a set price which is nice because there isn’t any haggling. They did a really good job. Terry did the entire thing and I haven’t had any problems since. They came out and did the job in the time frame they gave me.

Lance's plumbers were here on another problem and we discussed with them at the time what it would take to repair the tub and make it operable. An estimate was provided which included the parts and materials. We decided on a repair date which would work for both of us. Smith's plumber Terry arrived at the appointed time and began repairs. The repair work necessitated cutting a hole in the celling below the tub re-plumbing the entire line. New faucets were installed and the tub is now operable. The job was exteremly difficult, but Lance's plumber did a fantastic job, cleaned up after the work was completed and was on his way.

I found this company in the Angie's Magazine and called on a weekend. The gentleman took my info, told me they could probably get me in on Monday, but that someone would call me Monday to confirm. I a call Monday AM, set up a time for someone to come out, and they were right on time. The tech, I think his name was Larry, was very nice and professional. Got to use my Angie's List Coupon, which saved me over 50%. Best responsiveness, accuracy, and punctuality that I have ever experienced with a service provider

We awoke on a Saturday morning to no hot water. While investigating that problem we discovered water dripping through the ceiling in the basement. I called several plumbers recommended by Angie's list and Lance was the first available. He advised that he could be there between 2 and 4 p.m. He arrived at 2:30 and quickly diagnosed the water leaking problem to be the waterline to the refrigerator. He attempted to turn off the water to the line, but the valve had to be replaced, requiring him to cut into the drywall and cut off the bad valve. The tankless water heater was malfunctioning because landscapers had damaged the outside vent the day before, which caused it to overheat. He was able to reposition it and we had hot water in minutes. Will definitely use this company again.

He was on time, knew the product, there were minimal problems. He diagnosed the problem and the cost was minimal. He was extremely professional.

The job went fine. Lance Smith did the excavating himself on a small backhoe with one helper. He also replaced a leaking outdoor faucet. Took about 4 or 5 hours. The price was high, but since excavation was involved I guess that is not out of line.

They did a good job. They were on time. It was easy to schedule the appointment.

Lance arrived ontime.He was very pleasant. He explained the cost to rebuild the faucets ($166 each), but noted that we might have to replace the faucets if they coud not be rebuilt. Fortunately, the faucets could be rebuilt. Of course, the water needed to be shut off before the faucets could be fixed. He asked if it was OK to shut off the water before doing it. When settling the bill, I asked about the 10% senior discount on the website. He suggested that the $50 coupon was a better deal. I hadn't asked for that discount because the coupon was expired as of June 1. He sheepishly said he needed to change this so I assume that this coupon is usually available. Plumbing is always more expensive and I think it should be, but one could not ask for a more pleasant customer service experience.
