He never misses with the correct treatment and right time of the season to apply and the our yard is beautiful.
I would highly recommend his company.
In the past my commercial lawn company was very difficult to get a hold of, and did not offer much information about the services available, it just seemed like a ploy to sell as much as possible despite the exact need. I have never felt that way when dealing with the lawn pro representatives.
Now, after the treatment has been applied, I have no visible weeds within my lawn. Despite the surrounding neigboors with dandilions and crab grass running amuck, my lawn continues to look fabulous!
I would definatly recommend Lawn Pro to anyone who takes pride in their lawn, apprieciates education on the products used, and wants to deal with professional, knowledable, friendly staff.
"[Member Name Removed] was great to work for... I'm happy to say I retired from snow plowing, but I will always remember some of my best customers."
"I have worked for this customer for quite sometime. I don't recall ever being asked to coordinate with a mowing schedule. The only time the mowing schedule matters, is when a weed treatment is being done. That's only if there are lots of weeds in the lawn. This particular customer, really does not have many weeds, so there is no point "throwing a wrench, in the gears of production". The last app I provided for this customer, was a "heavy granular", which sits in the thatch layer until watered in. I would guess there would be less than 1% displacement. Regular mowing at the right height will not move the granules around. Maybe on a putting green, but we are talking about some serious low mowing. Splotches usually is a result in different kinds of grass. It would take Roundup to get rid of this particular kind of grass. Total Kill applications should be done around 8/1, because 8/15-9/15 is the best time to seed. When you have a lawn with so many types of grass, splotches are common. If you look across the street from this customer, you will see a flawless lawn. I killed the whole lawn and that customer had Gene Bowman from the Lawn Butler seed.... They had a massive problem with Nimblewill. http://www.google.com/search?q=nimblewill&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a Sometimes a customer does reseed, but they don't buy the type of grass they need to blend in a lawn. It's kind of like planting a pear tree, in an apple orchard and being confused of why it looks different. Soil types also play a part in splotches. Sometimes customers change the soil only where they seed, therefore that grass is gong to respond better to drought, or excess water. It will also respond different to anything designed to bind itself to soil particles. Crabgrass prevention is one example. When I was out on the lawn the other day, I saw the customer, and nothing was mentioned about the following problems. I'm always happy to address concerns. Soil temperatures play a roll in root decline. That can also show "splotches". If anyone want's a perfect lawn, and they're willing to go through it..... Kill it, and start over. After that, amend the soil. I could be better at educating my customers and putting their mind at ease. I guess instead of jumping to concussions, just ask, and I will tell. I'm here for this and every customer I have. There are a few things I can't control. Rain, temps, how high the customer mows, drainage, soil types, irrigation schedule, types of grass, and other things. I basically lay down the product in a competent manor. Sometimes a product works great and the EPA takes it off the market. Let's hope this year is nothing like last. The drought and heat wave really created some splotches. Have a great 4th of July!!!
