 + -1 moreThey were on time and were fairly priced. They were very pro-active and did the work without notifying me. I wish they would have notified me beforehand so I could have been there. But otherwise it went ok.
Description of Work: They had to put in a line going from my house to the septic system (a new drainage line). They also had to put in an access area before you could get to the pipe. The man who came out to give an estimate was nice, courteous, and responsive.

We have used them for many years when our septic tank seemed ready to ''overflow''. They always come within 24 hours.

The work was completed within two weeks and I found the company to be very nice to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

 + -1 moreTHE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS GOOD, HOWEVER THEY GAVE ME A BILL FOR $2175 WHEN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS FOR $1450. I CALLED THEM UP TO ASK THEM TO JUSTIFY THE CHARGES AND I WAS TOLD RUDELY TO JUST PAY THE $1450, TOLD ME NEVER TO CALL THEM AGAIN, AND HUNG UP ON ME.
Description of Work: INSTALLED A NEW INJECTOR PUMP, REPAIRED A 2" LINE, PUMPED OUT THE TANKS. GOT EVERYTHING DONE IN 3 HRS AND WANTED TO CHARGE $2175 FOR THE 3 HRS OF WORK (INCLUDING PARTS)

 + -1 moreEVERYONE THAT CAME OUT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND BECAUSE OF THE URGENCY OF THE PROBLEM, GOT US SCHEDULED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. THIS ALSO MEANT THAT KNOX WAS ABLE TO GET THE HEALTH DEPT OUT HERE WITHOUT MUCH NOTICE ON A COUPLE OCCASIONS TO GET THE NECESSARY APPROVALS. EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OUTSTANDING ITEMS, I AM GRADING THEM VERY HIGHLY BECAUSE THEY GOT US SCHEDULED SO QUICKLY, WERE VERY HELPFUL AND TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND WHY. I TRUST THAT THEY WILL BE BACK AS SOON AS THE WEATHER PERMITS TO COMPLETE WHAT NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED.
Description of Work: A COUPLE WEEKS BEFORE THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS, WE NEEDED A NEW SEPTIC FIELD BECAUSE OUR SYSTEM QUIT FUNCTIONING WITH VERY SHORT NOTICE. KNOX INSTALLED A NEW SYSTEM (APPROVED BY THE HEALTH DEPT)IN A VERY QUICK TURN AROUND TIME. KNOX ALSO HAD TO REROUTE OUR WATER SOFTENER AND FURNACE HUMIDIFIER SINCE BOTH WERE DRAINING INTO OUR SEPTIC TANK AND THE SOFTENER SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN. HOWEVER, THE END OF THE DRAIN PIPE FOR THE SOFTENER/HUMIDIFIER FREEZES IN THIS COLD WEATHER. WE ARE TOLD WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR BETTER WEATHER. I UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR BETTER WEATHER BUT IN THE MEANTIME, WE CAN'T USE THE HUMIDIFIER AND SOFTENER BECAUSE THE DRAIN KEEPS PLUGGING UP WITH ICE. THERE ARE ALSO 2 PIECES OF ADDITIONAL OUTSTANDING WORK THAT THEY VERBALLY AGREED TO COME BACK TO COMPLETE WHEN THE WEATHER GETS BETTER. I AM HAPPY WITH THE OVERALL SYSTEM BUT WITH THE $10,000+$1500 OF ELECTRICAL WORK WE HAD TO HAVE DONE SO THE SEPTIC SYSTEM FUNCTIONS, I WILL FEEL BETTER WHEN THE JOB IS COMPLETED.
