"I was called by the perspective buyers on this property. They had hired an inspector to do an evaluation of said properties septic. The inspector had dug up access to septic tank and the hole to the tank area, he told his clients that he was unable to view the tanks condition due to the hole had filled with sewage water. I was called as an installer to figure out why. Unfortunately, septic systems ideally should work and perform during wet and dry weather seasons. This particular tank and trenches was found by me to be way overfull upon arrival. I probed to locate the drain field to see if It was dry, clean, saturated or bio-mat sludgy. If it's dry and clean then a possible minor repair can sometimes be the fix, but this system was extremely way over saturated. When we probed, and pulled the probe out of the ground on top of the trenches, the sewage water came up out of the probe hole. I totally was aware of the weather conditions as I am a certified inspector and certified installer. Again, I gave the buyers and gentleman that seemed to be owner that was home both of them verbal findings of the condition of that system that day. Septics don't always work and or perform their best in wet seasons, but I always do honest best for all involved. As for the 1st inspector and the 2nd inspector that was hired by owners likely, you might check 2 things: A- Are they certified installers and years of experience B- are they certified inspectors. I am both and completely stand by ALL words spoken by me as an installer that day. Owner, Jim Knox 3172816412"
"I have let this review stand for a few weeks now with no response. During that time, I have spoken several times with my brother, which he is the one that operates our service truck and takes all initial calls. There is 1 hidden factor that the current homeowner did not know perhaps and or did not relay in her review, and that is that when my brother pumped this particular tank more than 7 months ago, the owner at the time was told that the lid did not lock. The owner at the times response was " the new owners can deal with it ". Unfortunately, we have no legal authority to call the local health department or building inspectors about a lid that does not lock. She is definitely correct and completely valid in her concerns for the safety of all, as we are. It almost seems a little vindictive to s*** this on other social media sites though, just saying. As for the phone conversations, my brother felt that he was being attacked and talked down to. Those that interact with him know his personality. Please feel free to call me directly with any questions 3172816412 Jim"
"Mrs. [Member Name Removed], I do apologize for not calling you directly. But, your husband kindly requested that we leave during our last visit 4-6 weeks ago. As you know, I was at your property 4 years ago, when I visited at least 3 or 4 times with soil scientist and local Health Department in attempt to design a septic replacement due to your then failing septic. You personally, were always very kind, your husband, not so much. Not that he was rude, but he was very expressing that he was not going to be told what to do on his own land, as a homeowner, I get that. He actually accused me of being there as working for the government and being against him, although he asked me to be there as a septic designer. Therefore, when I was asked to come back 4-6 weeks, I did. After meeting with your husband to explain the process of septic replacement and possible costs associated, he expressed his feelings that he was not going to be told by anyone, that he was going to have to spend his money on a new septic system. So, I left again. I have had other contractors call me about this site because of my known involvement. Mrs. [Member Name Removed], I personally have been to your property minimally 5 or 6 times, and I usually give a business card each time, you or your husband have my cell number, I can only be asked to leave, so many times, before I refuse to return. I wish you luck on your replacement, please feel assured, your local health department is there to inspect and make sure who you choose as a contractor, that they do the install correctly. Jim"
