Excellent. They showed up on time and gave good information on how to maintain the system. Great customer service.

Mr. Knox came out promptly to talk to us about repairing or replacing our failing septic system. We had tried other alternatives over the past 2 years and knew that we were eventually going to have to replace the system or connect to the sewer. We decided that connecting to the sewer was the best alternative. The Knox brothers did all the phone work, paperwork, connected the proper people downtown and got all the permits. They even found out who owned the land that we needed to cross to connect us to the sewer that was across the road from our house. They basically did everything that was needed. We also had them remove some shrubs with their equipment and bring in a couple of loads of gravel and spread it on our driveway and installed some drainage for us so our property no longer has standing water. It was not cheap, but most of the cost went to the city for access to the sewer lines and all the permits required. This was not your standard sewer hookup because it was a private sewer we were connecting to and they had to drill under the road to get to the sewer lines that were installed much deeper in the ground than most sewer lines, so the cost was much more than a standard city sewer hookup would cost. We were very comfortable with the Knox brothers and felt like they were very honest, professional, and knew their business very well. A great group of guys to work with. We have used other septic companies in the past, but these guys really know what they are doing. We would recommend them to anyone and would use them again if we ever needed their services. We bought our home a year ago and were told the tank had been pumped the year before that. Being new to septic tanks, we thought we should be safe a pump a little early. I called on Tuesday and they scheduled for Wednesday. They arrived early after calling to tell me they were on their way. They pumped the tank and were leaving in 30 minutes or so. The gentlemen who serviced the tank were extremely polite and answered all the questions that I had about the tank. I wouldn't think twice before calling them again.

Their service was very prompt and good. They came out the day after I called.

Job was performed quickly and professionally even in the 102 degree heat. The only problem was my forgetting to use my 5% coupon as an Anglies List customer. Totally my fault.

We were initially looking for wasps that could be heard from the bathroom walls. All areas checked inside the house so looked ain crawl space. When opening the door to the crawl space we noticed the tseptic ank alarm light had triggered. Our efforts shifted to the septic issue. A friend came over and nursed the old pump along to empty dosing tank. That's when he could see water gushing out the bottom of our pump. He told us we needed a new pump and switch and the line size. The next morning, I joined Angie's List, and checked out all 5 contractors listed. Because the information is so detailed, I felt i could choose the right contractor for our needs. The first company I called could get someone out that afternoon and be prepared to make the repairs needed. They were out right after lunch, made all necessary repairs, pumped the septic and pulled out 1-1/4hrs after arrival. I would highly recommend them for any septci needs. Thank you!!!

They were servicing in the area, and came the day I called. Prompt and professional, offered suggestions and left a pamphlet on what to know about septic tank systems.

They did a great job, but we did have to call them to come back and put the lid on properly. Their pricing was reasonable compared to others we have used. They responded very quickly when we called them.

These guys are a family who have obviously worked together for a while. They are very familiar with regulations and are very kind to offer their opinions and give you plenty of information to make a decision on your own. They know the city and it's drainage system. They are very attuned to urgency and cost parameters. I really loved these guys and I will call them again and again. Thank you Knox family. I have used them for a few years and their services are perfect. I called to talk to them about the situation and they sent someone the very next day. He came on Tuesday and took care of business and I was satisfied. He also gave me advice about what I should and shouldn't do with my sewer. I also think that they did a thorough job.

I have been very satisfied overall with my experiences with Knox Septic Sewer Service. They were very good. I liked that they were on time. They were very personable and knowledgeable. We had to contact them after the evaluation and they were very helpful. I would use them in the future.

They were exceptional. They came on time and were very knowledgable, professional, and reasonable.

They were very helpful over the phone in answering my questions. I called on Monday and they were able to come out Wednesday morning. The owner talked me through locating the tank cover and told me it would save me digging fees to dig up the lid myself. The reason they receive a C for punctuality is they were 1 hour late for our appointment. When we scheduled the appointment, they told me they may not be there right at 9:00 because it sometimes takes a while to get the truck out of the dump. I didn't anticpate this would cause a 1 hour delay. Since I work, this caused me to use an extra hour of PTO. On a positive note, the price was very reasonalbe, and they were finished within 15 minutes of arriving at my house. I would use them again.

We purchased a new home and a few months later found out we had a septic tank instead of city sewer services. They came in less than 45 minutes and did a great job. They helped us understand how we would go about connecting to the city services like our next door neighbor.

We called Knox on Saturday and assumed they wouldn't be able to get to us for awhile--we were wrong! We haven't had the tank pumped since we moved in and didn't even know where the lid was; the ground was also covered with snow and ice, so we didn't have high hopes of getting it pumped quickly. However, they came out right away and located the tank without any problem. They finished quickly without any mess (we expected at least some 'signs' of their visit to be left in the snow, but we wouldn't have even known they were there!). We had been dreading having this completed, but this was one of the easiest services we've had done. They even cleared a blockage, and everything works perfectly. We will definitely be calling them again the next time!

We are in the process of converting to sewers. My septic system has a pump and 2 tanks. The system never fails unless the pump goes. We have had the pump for 12 years and it finally went. I was very pleased with their service. Anyone would be satisfied with Knox, but with anything like that I would ask what it is going to cost at first. They told me, but I didn't have any choice. They were honest. I have used them before for other things. I knew it was going to be expensive. It was just a matter of how much. I keep using their service because they are reliable. Hopefully I won't have to use them because we will have the sanitary sewer system by the end of the year.

Contacted them on short notice. It was an emergency and they said they might be able to get it that day but they would probably couldn't be there until the next morning. They called back shortly and said they'd had a cancellation and shortly thereafter they arrived. Excellent service.

They came out when they said they were going to be here. They handled it very efficiently and quickly.

They were the only company who actually discovered that we had a dry well, instead of a finger system. They were so wonderful to deal with, and were so helpful in explaining to us how to care for our septic system.

Septic tanks must be emptied every few years and ours was due. Talk about a dirty job. We had just moved in and were unfamiliar with our new system, but fortunately these guys knew all about it. When the septic pump alarm went off I had no idea what it was (not every system has this so don't worry if you don't). Fortunately, it went off while they were here and they explained to me what it was. The sellers had not told us about this feature. I have the utmost respect for those hard working people who do all the nasty jobs. These guys do it well and with a smile. For those of you who have watched the movie, Woodstock, remember the guy who emptied the Port-O-Potties and had one son at the concert and another in Vietnam? Well, these guys are that guy.

Hated spending $10,000 . . . but I think they were more than reasonable on their pricing and I was completely satisfied with their work overall.
