When we had dogs we sometimes had issues but for the past 2 years we have had great service.

This company is pretty organized with setting up appointments and coming out as scheduled. Whenever there is a time that a technician can't come out, they usually call in advance to notify me. The lawn technicians are very willing to explain the treatments in details and they also provide suggestions. Overall usually a good experience. I would recommend this company to others.

We've been very pleased with Kapp's Green Lawn. Their staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Their price was very reasonable and about $10/month below other quotes that we received (including one from our previous service provider). I appreciated that they visited my home to look at my lawn before quoting me a price. Some providers just looked at satellite photos to "estimate" the size of my yard, but included in the estimate a large, wooded and grass-free portion of my backyard that would never be treated.

They are very reliable and helpful with lawn maintenance.

I had Kapp's service for seveal years. I was satisfied with them, burt decided to treat the lawn myself. After two seasons, I decided I would rather have them do the job for me. I knew they do a great job. I did not shop around. I just called them and signed up for this year.

Lawn looks good so far, now all we need is rain!

The first application, they did an iron treatment, and all of the dandelions were gone. The yard looked fantastic. They are so affordable. They did a great job. They did the same thing other companies do, and they charged half the price.

I Called Kapps to get a quote on lawn aeration & thatch removal about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I spoke to a represtantive who stated she would have the individual (I think his name is Ben) responsible for my area(I assume they are assigned different areas based on location of customer)give me a call. About 4 or 5 hours later that afternoon he calls and leaves a message on my home phone which was fine since I was at work at the time. I call Kappss Lawn back the next day and again I get a rep who again relays message to Ben who would call me back. I explain to her that I work 3rd shift and calling me during the afternoon will not work since I'm usually asleep or on my way to work. Anyway he again calls me after 4 or 5 pm and I missed the call because i'm asleep. Finally he emails me a quote but when I call back to schedule an appointment I run into the same thing, "I call, they pass my information along and I get a message some hours later". After 2 or 3 times of this I decided I had enough and gave up.

Yard was full of weeds. Had them come out for added spot service 2 additional times. Still looked very bad. Not at all satisfied with quality of work. They put very little actual fertilizer on the yard (.5 acre should take more than a 15 lb bag per application).

The overall experience was poor. I would not use this provider again.

They air-rate from the foundation and put chemicals on the ground. If I pay for the year, I get a discount. I have priced the chemicals at the store and that's a good price. I can't do it for less. They do six treatments per year. They have friendly service, do a quick response, come by, they leave a flag in the yard, and leave the statement in the door. Dandelions and crabgrass are under control. I'm the second person on the street to mow, as the grass is growing so fast. They do what they do, they do it promptly, do it well, and the price is good.

I am on an annual contract with them. I like them very much. I have been using them for several seasons. I use them for fertilizer applications on to my lawn. A few summers ago my lawn pretty much died. They were able to restore it to a healthy lawn. They have done very well for me.

Everything seems fine. They come and go quickly. My husband is getting upset about the price increasing every year. I think everything is good. I wouldn't say that the service is outstanding but is better than mediocre.

They are punctual, come early & clear the drive before you leave for work.

Everything went well. Kapp's is always on top of what our lawn needs throughout the year, and they do a wonderful job.

My yard looked the worse than it had ever before and I finally stopped their services because my yard was filled with crabgrass. Every time I called them they sprayed, but nothing was effective. We did quit for a while and it would all come back. Crabgrass was just getting out of our hand and they were not doing a thing to stop it. I know they have a good reputation, but with me they did not have a good reputation. When I finally told that I wanted to discontinue their service they did not send anybody to find out what was wrong. They retreated the weeds between applications of fertilizers, but it did not work. I watched them when they put the application on. They had this machine which they ride on and part of the time it was running and part of the time I could not see anything coming out of it. I don’t know what was going on. I think my yard would have looked better if I had done the work. I don’t think what they did was right. They don’t charge as much as the other companies and there has to be a reason for that. After they left I pulled out all the crabgrass and sprayed the lawn. Everything was gone after that. Why could not they do it? I was disappointed with them, and they had A ratings on Angie’s list. The technicians seemed to be friendly and I did not have any problem with them. When I called the office they said they would send somebody and they did. There was nothing wrong with that. They were a good company, but they were not doing what needed to be done. They were excellent in price, but I think you get what you pay for. I never knew exactly when they were coming, so I don’t know if they were punctual. Anyway all that does not count when your lawn does not look good. It is the result that matters the most. I will not use them again.

I use them because it’s convenient.

We have utilized Kapp's for the last 6 years and have been very satisfied with their overall service and professionalism. We pay a yearly contract fee that covers all the services we have with them. (Lawn fertilizing, Insect/Pest Control and Weed Control) The yearly fee is quite reasonable and it gives us 6 yard applications and 5 insect/pest applications per year. The lawn has not looked this good since we first moved into the house, 18 years ago.

They come out at least four times a year. We pay once a year as we get a small discount. They come for five insecticide applications and six times for the lawn. When you look at the amount you pay at one go you think it's a huge amount but they do come out so many times. They do a good job. The person who does it seems to be the one who comes out most of the time. He is very pleasant and he loves to talk. I never know when they are coming they just come when they are supposed to and they do the job and they put a receipt on my front door. Sometimes I am here and sometimes I am not. Whenever I have had something to do with the company I have had absolutely no complaints with them whatsoever. There was one time, four or five years ago when we had a problem with chick weed and one of the applications was supposed to take care of that and it didn't. So we called and they were out the next day and apologized about that. They did another application.

I responded to a mail solicitation for lawn service on 3/23/11. I paid for 2 services as agreed. The company called to terminate my service unless I agreed to a 48% price increase on 5/11/11. I think this is called bait an switch. After terminating my service the company called to solicit outside pest control. The outside price they quoted was same price I am paying another company for inside and outside. PS. The dandelions look great.

We have a service contract with them and they come regularly. They did everything as committed. They are on the expensive side, but, continue to use them, as we have a service contract. The only things they need improvement is flexibility and their communication skill. I will continue to use their services in future.

We spent about $50 per application. We just picked them out and they seem to be doing what they are doing, so we use them. They call before they come and get the job done.

The foundation spray works very well to keep our home bug free. The lawn treatments have kept our lawn looking green. THe only problem has been lawn burn in 2009 that they addressed promptly and at the end of the season came out to areate and reseed at no cost. In 2010 the lawn did not look as good as usual but i feel it was more due to the dry weather than the service provided.
