JORDAN ROOFING

Originally thought gutter problem might have been issue with roofing job done by the company. Asked company to look into problem even though warranty had expired. Owner readily agreed to come look, got on the ladder and he and I agreed that the problem was not a faulty roofing job, but clogged gutters causing excessive water weight in the gutter. He agreed to install a gutter apron to help the problem. Charged a reasonable price and gave me a good expectation as to when he would come out. Mr. Jordan is very easy to work with, charges reasonable prices, does quality work and communicates effectively.

He did excellent work. He suggested an upgrade that made a world of difference. The clean up was great, not even a nail on the ground.

I contacted Jordan roofing on a Thursday and spoke with Don. He said he could come out the following morning to give us an estimate. He arrived the next morning, looked at the roof, and offered to fix the piece that had come loose in addition to re-securing the other venting strips while he was there. Don was great to work with and we really appreciated his quick work- especially since more storms were in the forecast.

Went great. I have used Don several times and highly recommend him.

I called on a Thursday. Don came over and gave me an estimate on a Friday. The work was done the next Tuesday. Quick, honest, and upfront. This was done during the recent storms and flooding when I know they must have been busy.

Don Jordan was very quick to respond and was able to begin work within a couple of days of the estimate. In the process of inspecting the roof, he discovered that in addition to the ridge vent requiring replacement, our chimney was also in need of repair on the roof side of the house. The quote for the ridge vent and chimney repair was $930, which was quite reasonable. During the estimate, he mentioned that he also did wood replacement on a per-man-hour basis. We had several wood replacement jobs that he also took care of (area under bay window and back door, full corner of chimney, 8 column bases on front porch) and replaced a few shingles. Since he had to remove several planks on our deck to replace the wood under the back door, we went ahead and hired him to replace the floor and upper railings of our 10' by 16' deck since it was also in pretty bad shape. The deck took longer than we expected (35 man hours plus materials), but the quality of the work was very good.

The overall process went very well. He was very prompt in responding to my inquiries and provided me with a fair quote for the work. He agreed to undertake work that he normally does not do at my request. We are pleased with the work and his service.

Our old roof was in definite need of replacing, so we called Don to come out and take a look at it and give an estimate. He came out the same day that we called and was able to start work the following week. His crew was great -- working well into the night to get the job finished and seemed very conscientious about the work they were doing. We are very happy with the way the roof came out and believe it was done very professionally and with quality.

From the first phone call, I could not have asked for better service. Prompt and professional. They arrived early and worked until it was done. They left the home as clean as they found it. No roof debris left on the ground. This company is OUTSTANDING! The crew was very courteous and Don called with updates as to the progress and a very small additional charge. ($17.00) No surprises! I would highly recommend this company and will use them again if needed. Great job!

Very easy to work with. We got a quick estimate and they did the repair as soon as the weather allowed.

I had a few places in the roof that needed to be repaired from a faulty initial installation of roof. Don came out to give an estimate and expressed concern about other areas of the roof as well and took time to look in the attic for signs of any leaking. He gave an estimate for re-flashing the chimney, and doing the vent/pipe penetrations and an estimate later for the valleys and ridges. I was able to work with Don on separating out the work into two times, so that payment would be easier. Don also worked with me on the price. Don has a couple of guys contracted under him that did an outstanding job on completing the work, even when it was very cold. No more leaks and no more worries about what leaks I might not be seeing.

Don put a roof on another one of my properties. He does great work and is honest.

I really liked the people! They were really good at covering up when it rained, but they did not get the color roof that I wanted. I had several estimates, and his was the best.

They did a terrific job and cleaned up well upon completion of the work.

Even though it was a small job, they didn't hesitate to come out! They did a good job.

I should have relaxed a little more. Don was good to work with. He uses subcontractors for his roof. They cleaned up well. I am pleased with roof. I recommend Don for people who get nervous when doing something major to their house. A friend at work used him and he was also pleased with his roof.

Don's crew did a great job. They completed in one day (after we rescheduled couple of times due to weather forecasts). I opted for 3-dimensional and was well worth the additional cost in looks and expected durability. When they discovered the rotted wood at chimney behind satellite dish anchor, the foreman (Don's cousin) brought to my attention and they replaced at reasonable additional charge. They surprisingly even painted the wood to match the trim -- not expected but much appreciated. I am confident that should I notice anything in the future that may concern me, Don would be back here in a flash to satisfy the concern. I was very pleased with the entire experience and highly recommend Don for roofing jobs.

Excellent job on the roofing; had a small problem with the subcontractor for the gutters; the end of the new gutter on the garage did not extend out to the edge of the garage roof. Don had it corrected within a day or so. The price ended up being slightly higher than the estimate, but only because they had to replace some decking. That was not in the original estimate.

He and his crew replaced the roof in one day. They came back the next day to check the work found a problem and fixed it that day which was great.

Great job from beginning to end. This was an insurance job due to hail damage, and Don helped me get things sorted out with the claims adjuster, too, which in this case was no easy task. Don does great work, as I've reported previously, but for this report I want to recognize his crew. They showed up about 8:30 one morning, worked through to almost 6:30 that evening. When they left, we had a great new roof, but virtually no sign of trash and the like that showed they had been there! Once again, I'd highly recommend Jordan Roofing.

They did an excellent job! They responded quickly and fit me into their busy schedule even though this was a small job for them. They provided excellent service and I highly recommend them.

After contacting several other Angie's List roofers and not getting any response, I decided to give it one more try with Jordan Roofing. Don Jordan personally replied to my request to come give me an estimate for the work I needed done. Don told me over the phone that they had been extremely busy still taking calls from the spring storms, but that someone would be out to check the roof and an estimate prepared. Within two weeks of my phone call, the estimate was in my hands and Don had come to the house to sign the paperwork with me. Within another two weeks, my roof and gutters were completed. I appreciated the quick response that I got from Don and his crew and the professional way everything was handled. Don was able to accomplish for me in 4 short weeks what I had been waiting 4 months to get done. Excellent work and excellent customer service!

They indicated that they could come out to look at it but would charge me $100-$150. I was told that they give free estimates by Angie's List.

Chose Jordan over five other estimates. His price was right in the middle of all of the estimates. They did a very good job. The workers worked very hard and the job was completed in two and half days. They did a very good job cleaning up after work was finished.

Don was the quickest to respond to my calls and come out and inspect my roof to determine what was causing the leak. Most roofers are still backed up with work from all the hail damage. I'm waiting to make a decision on whether to repair roof or replace. I did short term repair.
