Description of Work: We had to do some repair work to our siding, therefore we had to have it all painted. We contacted Mr. Hostetter and they came out quoted the job and we were happy with the quote and we hired them. The crew that showed up to perform the work were very professional and did an excellent job. I will hire them for other jobs that come up.

Description of Work: At this time the provided us weith a cost estimate fora paint job at the house. We have not awarded the contract to anyone yet. The Representative was very proffecional. Showed up on time for the appointment and provided an estimate within a day. The estimate was very detailed and included all the was to be doen.

Description of Work: They replaced the roof and rotted wood around the exterior, recaulked the windows, and painted the exterior of the house. Everything was done on time, professionally, and well. They were very responsive and communicated well with us. Everything was well done.

Description of Work: Very nice, professional crew. Removed old gutters, replaced rotting soffits and gutter boards, and returned to install new gutters with gutter covers after the home was painted. The gutters look so great - nice and square, securely attached, color is true to the sample card provided - the new gutters took about 10 yrs off age appearance of home. I did find that e-mail correspondence with Hostetter's office was more efficient than trying to phone them. Very quick e-mail responses.

Description of Work: I had several bids on painting and replacing gutters on my house. He was very prompt and competitive with the bid. I went with another contractor that was located closer to the job. It was a hard choice to make because the bids were very much alike.

Description of Work: We had a gutter that was jammed up and we thought it needed to be replaced. The tech came out and cleaned it and didn't charge us. offered but he said no, it didn't take but a few minutes.

Description of Work: I needed my windows on the exterior professionally caulked. Mike from J.D. Hostetter gave me a competitive bid. He wouldn't let the work be done until the weather conditions were best for applying the caulk. A crew came out and in just a short time had re-caulked our windows with professional caulk that should last a very long time. I would use J.D. Hostetter in the future.

Description of Work: Contacted JD Hotetter & Associates for a quote in late March and received their quote in reasonable time. I had requested a delay to do some other repairs before the siding was to be repaired. Also received several other quotes Mr Hull was very friendly and explained the siding (Hardi Plank) process and other options. They provided the best price for the siding and painting in the same estimate and I felt was reasonable for the work to be done. Once my repairs were completed I approved the estimate and was placed on their schedule for installation. We were on the schedule within a couple weeks and actually requested a little more time for my own repairs and they adjusted the schedule. The workers were very courteous and did a great job. There was a few other minor repairs done during the installation at no additional cost. Weather caused a few delays but when the weather was cooperative the workers were here and working early and continued until into the early evening to accomplish as much as possible. The provided a dumpster for the old construction material and even left is on site a few extra days for some other home clean up work I did while they were working. They painted and installed the siding to specifications. Removed old siding and installed new siding, power washed and caulked all surfaces as needed and the applied two coats of paint to the siding and windows as specified. In general was very pleased with the work, only had a few minor issues with the gutters that was addressed. The house had a very steep roof and they accomplished all items that we had concerns about. Would recommend them highly.

Description of Work: I have a detached garage, gazebo & deck that have already been stained, they just needed to be power washed and another coat of finish applied and caulking where needed. I was furnishing all the product, so I just needed a quote for the labor. Since we've paid to have it done in the past, I had a n idea of what it should cost, and we would have used the person who originally did it but he has since moved out of state. A representative from J.D. Hostetter came down on the day he was scheduled, was very punctual and nice. He took pictures of the structures & deck, but no measurements. A couple days I received a bid via email, which I felt was very high considering I was supplying all the product. Got a bid from another painter, and decided to go with them instead.

Description of Work: Jeff Hostetter came to my home at my request for an estimate on replacing cedar shake siding on the upper level of my home. Upon arrival Jeff immediately suggested I replace with fiber cement. I live in a historic district and fiber cement siding is not allowed under historic preservation plan. Jeff did not seem to know the details of historic preservation plans in Indianapolis. When I asked if he needed to get on the roof to measure or look at the job more closely, Jeff stated, "No, I got what I need." Jeff left after being here for approx 10 minutes stating he would be sending me an estimate within 2-3 days. I have never received an estimate nor a phone call/email stating he was not interested in the job. I would have much more respect for his professionalism if he had simply stated when he was here that he was not interested in submitting a bid on my job.

Description of Work: I called this Super Service Award winner of yours this past Monday and left messages to call either my home number or my cell regarding a downspout that broke on the 2nd story of the house. I have yet to receive a call from them. In my experience, 3 days without a call back is too long. I understand they may be busy, but a courtesy call is always in order. They get an F- from me for nonexistent call backs. That's the least they could have done. Karen Jardina

Description of Work: I called for an estimate to re-side my home. I did in fact receive the estimate. The company seemed friendly and capable. I did not use this company as the estimate was higher than others. I would call again.
