Siding on the west wall is loose again. Was not given a walk threw of service completed. If you select JD Hostetter & Associates I suggest requesting that they notify you when they are coming to complete service and be home when service is being completed.

The entire project went well and JD Hostetter took the time to listen to my needs to make me happy as a customer. I could not be more happy with the finished results of my exterior home remodel. Tony the project manager was easy to get a hold of and he was quick to address my needs. The workers were polite and worked diligently to finish my home exterior project with detail. Any minor things that needed to be addressed they went above and beyond to meet me needs. Keep up the great work!!

They did a wonderful job and attention to detail was great. I had a warranty on some caulking that failed around a few of the windows. They were easy to contact to have the fixes done fast.

He gets straight “A’s”. He was excellent. I probably will use him again. I am probably going to have him do some roofing and maybe some gutters in the spring. They were honest. They did what they said they were going to do. They did it when they said they were going to do it and they did it well.

Their quote was almost double anybody else; it was kind of a joke. They did not get the work. One thing that stood out was atrocious pricing.

Brenda was quick to respond to my email communications. The measurer was pleasant and spent time evaluating the project and advising me. He gave a quote right away. On the installation day, the crew worked quickly. After the gutter was installed, I commented that the front slant did not look right. The foreman re-leveled the gutter to make the correction. The foreman advised me that additional downspouts were not needed. The company took the price of those out of the final bill.

They were on time and they did exactly what they said they were going to do and did a good job with it and I have no problems at all. It was a really good price. They got right back with me and scheduled the time right away.

Really well. We just haven't had a chance to do the work we'd like to have done, but we were very impressed with the estimate and the professionalism of the company.

The finished product was very good. And, overall, I am very pleased with the work. However, there were several instances when the work was not begun when their scheduler indicated it would begin. Initially, I was contacted by the scheduler on a Friday and was told that their crew would come to my home that afternoon in order to power wash the house. In order to facilitate this, I left work in order to make sure the area immediately surrounding the house was clear of patio furniture, etc. The crew never showed until Sunday. During the power washing of the house, one of the window screens on the second floor was damaged. I left a message for Mr. Hostetter to let him know about this. I never received a response. After the house was painted, the person who was responsible to perform a repair on some damaged wood and the painting on that part of the house came to the home. I advised him of the damaged screen during the final inspection. While it was apparent that he really did not want to repair the screen, he did take it with him and promised to return it in about a week. That was in August. I have followed up with the company by email twice since that time and have not had a response.

Those guys I called in regards to a work project and we are still trying to get the funding for that project so I call them that kind of over the phone estimate, but they were very helpful just like over the phone giving me quick ball park estimate for what we were planning on doing on our home.

Excellent Work! - Estimate was done quickly and as scheduled. Contractor was willing to work around my schedule to do job when I was home. Roof was torn off and replaced in one day. Heavy rains the next few days showed no leaks. Contractor completed insurance company paperwork in a timely manner. Cleanup was very good.

JD Hostetter is a highly professional organization. They exceeded my expectations. I will hire them again when my house needs repainting.

The siding job went very well and I'm pleased with the final result. It took several weeks to schedule the job after the contract was signed due to a continuous run of rainy weather.

We were extremely pleased with the work that was done by JD Hostetter. They were very professional by responding quickly to our questions and requests. They found siding that matched what we have when another contractor said he couldn't match it and all the siding would need to be replaced. The price was less that other bids but the quality of work couldn't have been better. We especially liked how they fixed two other small minor problems with no additional cost. We would definitely use them again.

This company is amazing! We needed to have our roof evaluated for repairs and they were quick to respond, made some minor repairs at no cost, and sent a summary assessment. They even met our tight deadlines! I would recommend this company to anyone and I will definitely call them in the future for any roofing needs. Wonderful to work with!

They did an excellent job enclosing the front porch. My house is over 100 years old and the area was not exactly level or square but it came out beautifully! My cats love it out there! Jeff and Tony met with me to ask me exactly what I wanted it to look like. They even installed a wide ledge along the windows for my kitties to lounge on and watch the birds. It is the talk of the neighborhood and I am so happy with everything. Jeremy came and painted the living, dining room and a stairwell. He was very quick and got right down to work when he arrived to paint. It looks great!

JD Hostetter & Associates did an exceptional job on our home. The crew was incredibly polite and worked through the absolute worst weather conditions. One day it snowed, one day it rained, another had freezing rain. They worked hard, kept the yard clean and gave terrific recommendations as we had questions for them. The pricing was very competitive and it was such a relief to have professionals take care of a very daunting job. I called this provider in the middle of the week and was honestly aimless - I had a piece of aluminum fascia hanging off of my house that kept banging into my bedroom wall in the middle of the night. I did my best to describe the problem to Brenda, who was more than patient with me. Ultimately, I emailed a picture of the problem to Brenda and she got back to me in just a day with an itemized estimate. It was clear that they were on top of their work and I hope that (after hearing from our insurance company) we will be able to utilize their services in the near future. Thank you, Brenda!

After roof inspection, did found some rusty nail on decking / small rot decking area. However, no leakage. Looks like the problem was from a few years ago by ice damage, no need to replace or repair the roof. I was impressed by this professional and honest suggestion!

Fantastic! We had some trouble with other roofing contractors actually following through with providing a quote after coming out to our house but JD Hostetter quickly got the quote to us after seeing the leak. The work was very competitively priced versus the other estimates we received. Once we signed on to get the work done, they came out on Saturday within about 48 hours of paying the deposit. The work was done quickly but more importantly, correctly! I've waited to write this until we had a few storms so now I can verify the quality of their work. The leaks are fixed and the roof looks great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

The crew arrived on time and were very professional. We had siding that had come loose from the house due to high winds. They repaired that siding as well as several other areas of the siding that had "bubbled". They completed the work within a few hours and cleaned up after they were finished. The crew leader made a few recommendations regarding some additional improvement projects and we are waiting on a quote for those items. I would definitely recommend JD Hostetter & Associates.

From start to finish, this company was professional, prompt, courteous and did outstanding work. They return calls immediately. Their employees are skilled and knowledgeable, and their estimate beat two others we had received. Due to several weeks of in climate weather, the job had to be done over a few days with a couple weeks in between. The gentleman that comet to do the estimate noticed a problem on the roof over our garage that we were not at all aware of (though we had seen the effects via some mold issues on the drywall inside the garage). We are so grateful that he did! The work was done quickly and efficiently, and beautifully. All materials were hauled away with not a single nail or screw left behind. What a fantastic experience all the way around!

Overall experience was very positive. Jeff came out and looked at the house himself to provide the quote. We got that about 2 days later (he had come on a Friday afternoon). He originally thought we might need gutter apron installed as he thought our shingles may have been cut a little short, so included that has an option. Crew of 3 showed up and completed the job in 1 day. One of the gentlemen was the project manager so he walked me through everything and got my ok when they needed to remove some trim on the roofline before cutting. Once on the job he assessed and said we did not need the apron, so that was removed from the quote. Downspouts were hooked back up into the ground where we had run-offs already in place. Clean up was seamless. The only issue we ran into is that they never called to actually schedule the install, so I was not expecting them when they arrived. It was in the time frame that the office had quoted me, but they were supposed to arrange it with us. Had I not happened to have been home, it likely would have caused some hiccups. Overall great though and would use again.
