I had called several companies out to provide estimates on painting and siding. They were prompt to provide a written estimate; many of the other companies I called did not respond or were a real pain to get an estimate from. The company was very professional and they have a website which provides you an up to date list of where you are at on their painting schedule. They dealt very well with my tenants who reside in the house (which are not the easiest people in the world to get along with). I had asked them to come back out to get a few windows done, that were overlooked due to miscommunication from the tenants. They came back out immediately. In the past, I have always looked for the cheapest company to do the work. I have always had headaches from those experiences. I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them. If they aren't the lowest in price, you will make up for it, with the hassle free way they conduct themselves.

He was prompt, efficient, and took a lot of care to wash every outside area. He was careful around the landscaping plants. The house and garage look like new, and the garage doors were ready for me to paint. My real estate agent later asked me if the siding was new.

Jeff Hostetter quoted job in a timely fashion and provided excellent customer service, including quote clarifications and follow-up. Jeff and his associates are very professional and provide a quality exterior painting service. They provide adequate protection for landscaping and cleaned up after every day of painting. The project manager, Ken, was easily accessible and ensured that job was completed and addressed queries promptly. Website provides updates on schedule for anticipated start dates. Chose this business because of their professionalism, attention to detail by rolling and brushing instead of spraying, and customer service.

The job started on time; the folks were courteous, capable, and professional. We are very satisfied with their performance and would recommend them to anyone.

I would not recommend him to anyone, due to his inability to work through issues.

Our project had some problems. fiberglass It is unrealistic in business not to occasionally experience problems .I judge organizations by A) How frequently problems occur and; B) How does a company respond when problems develop. JD Hostetter mis-communicated to their painter and he accidentally painted part of our stucco (rather than limiting his painting to trim, only). To Hostetter s credit, they worked diligently to make sure we were pleased with the solution of repainting over the affected area. Hostetter has a good working relationship with Porter Paint and utilized their expertise to assist in solving the problem. A fair evaluation is to recognize they caused a problem. But to applaud them for caring enough about their customers to find a workable solution.

Jeff's communication with us throughout the project was excellent. This project required Jeff and his team to work around weather conditions, and to work in (essentially) every room of the house. They were careful to ''clean up'' in each area, and they were attentive to any finishing issues that we raised. Our experience was excellent.

THE HOUSE LOOKS BETTER THAN I EVEN IMAGINED. THEY ALSO REPLACED ROTTED WOOD & KEPT ME UPDATED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. THE ENTIRE WORK CREW WERE VERY POLITE & EXTREMELY HARD WORKERS. THEY LEFT THE WORK AREA SPOTLESS @ THE END OF EACH WORKDAY. MY NEIGHBORS HAVE ALL COMMENTED ON THE RESULTS & ASKED FOR THE PAINTERS NAME. JEFF (HOSTETTER) & CREW WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. JEFF IS VERY RELIABLE & STANDS BEHIND HIS WORK. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME & OFFER ADVICE. I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE. HIS PRICES WERE ALSO EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE (HE BEAT ALL THE OTHER ESTIMATES). I WILL DEFINITELY USE HIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I FELT CONFIDENT THAT I COULD TALK WITH SOMEONE IF ISSUES AROSE DURING THE JOB. THE CREW WAS POLITE AND WORKED VERY QUICKLY. JEFF AND HIS PROJECT MANAGER BOTH CAME OUT PERSONALLY TO REVIEW THE WORK AND WORKED WITH US ON SOME DETAILS. THE END RESULT IS BEAUTIFUL. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT A DIFFERENCE A GREAT PAINT JOB COULD MAKE ON THE APPEARANCE OF OUR HOME. WE HAD A LOT OF WOOD REPAIR ON OUR HOME AND IT WAS ALL COMPLETED SEAMLESSLY. I'VE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY TO OTHERS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.

EVERYTHING WAS DONE AS PROMISED. THE HOUSE LOOKS GREAT. THE CREW WAS POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND QUIET. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORKED LATE. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT I PICKED UP RAZOR BLADES AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED.

DID NOT BID THIS WORK - HOSTETTER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY SIDING CONTRACTOR, ANGIE'S LIST REPORTS SUPPORTED THIS. CREW WAS HARD-WORKING (SOME WEATHER DELAY), GOOD CLEAN-UP, ATTENTIVE TO DETAILS. PAINT APPLIED WITH BRUSH & ROLLERS. OTHER COMPANIES SPRAY, SO I READ IN ANGIE'S LIST WHILE RESEARCHING PROJECT - SUSPECT HOUSE APPEARANCE WOULD NOT BE AS DEEP AND SMOOTH AS THEIR WORK TURNED OUT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOSTETTER.

THE CREW WAS VERY CONCERNED WITH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. THEY CAME BACK TWICE TO RESTAIN THE DECK AFTER RAINSTORMS DAMAGED THE SECOND COAT. THE SURFACES WERE WELL PREPARED AND CAULKED BEFORE PAINTING. THEY DIDN'T PROVIDE ANY HELP SELECTING THE CORRECT STAIN FOR THE DECK, HOWEVER. CREWS WERE ALWAYS ON TIME AND WORK WAS COMPLETED EXPEDITIOUSLY. CREWS WERE ALWAYS VERY POLITE.

JOB 1: THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND EFFICIENT. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE ON TIME AND THE WORK WAS GREAT. WE NEEDED THEM IN A HURRY AND THEY WERE ABLE TO HELP US. WE HAD A COUPLE OF LITTLE THINGS THAT NEEDED TOUCHED UP AND THEY WERE VERY WILLING TO DO THAT. IT WAS A PLEASURE WORKING WITH THEM. WE ARE ALSO USING THEM TO PAINT OUR NEW HOME. JOB 2: THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, FRIENDLY AND DID A GREAT JOB. I DECIDED THAT I WAS NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH A COLOR I HAD PICKED AND THEY WORKED WITH ME ON PICKING A NEW ONE THAT TURNED OUT GREAT. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE JOB MANAGER AND THE CREW. I NEVER SAW THE JOB MANAGER VISIT THE SITE. I HAD TO EXPLAIN THE DETAILS OF THE JOB TO THE CREW. THEY SHOWED UP A DAY EARLY EVEN WHEN I STATED THAT I DID NOT WANT THEM THERE SINCE I WAS GOING TO BE OUT OF TOWN. THEY WERE SOMEWHAT ILL-EQUIPPED TO HANDLE THE TERRAIN OF MY YARD BUT GOT THE JOB DONE. I LATER FOUND OUT THAT THE CREW HAD BEEN DOING EXTERIOR PAINTING FOR ONLY ABOUT 2 WEEKS WHICH EXPLAINED THEIR LACK OF PROPER LADDERS ETC. ON A POSITIVE NOTE, THE CREW WAS NEAT AND DID NOT DAMAGE ANY PLANTS ETC. AFTER THE FINAL WALK AROUND WITH A MEMBER OF THE COMPANY, WE NOTED A FEW AREAS THAT NEEDED TOUCH UP. THEY WERE QUICK TO COME BACK OUT AND DO THE WORK.

I CONTACTED THE COMPANY ON JUNE 30TH FOR A QUOTE. THEY ADVISED THEY WOULD BE OUT IN A FEW DAYS, BUT NEVER SHOWED. WE RECEIVED A QUOTE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, AND THEN, DECIDED TO PERFORM THE WORK OURSELVES AS WE HAD SOME FREE TIME. AFTER TWO WEEKS OF PAINTING, A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THIS COMPANY SHOWED UP FOR THE QUOTE. TOO LATE.

VERY DETAILED QUOTE. VERY PROFESSIONAL. DECIDED TO GO WITH ANOTHER PAINTER WHO WAS ABOUT $1000 CHEAPER.
