The process was quick and very easy. They came out and appraised the cost of the damage. They wrote everything out in detail on what would be completed as well as the cost. Mike Young was who we worked with and he was extremely kind and professional, as well as prompt. He gave us samples to look at and even put the samples up on the roof himself so we could get a better idea of what it would look like. After we made our selection, the roofing supplies were here within 3-5 days. It took a while before they could start the project due to weather but once the weather cleared, it took 3 days to rip off the old roof and replace it with new. Every evening, the crew cleaned up their mess and everyday Mike came out to make sure we were satisfied and to check the work that the crew was doing. They cleaned out the landscaping and put all of our deck items back where they belonged. We have had a lot of work done on our house in the past year and JD Hostetter is one of the best.

Jeff Hostetter and his team performed exceptionally well. Everyone was very professional. There is a high degree of pride he has for his company. He also is a hands on man.

Arranged to meet Jeff Hostetter for an estimate to paint my 90 year old mother's home when I visited Mom from my west coast home. Estimate was received quickly when promised and Jeff even made special arrangements to expedite the painting because we were attempting to put the home up for sale. In order to meet my schedule requirements, Jeff had to use a crew of painters who were not his regulars. They showed up about 4 days after the promised start date. Not being part of his regular crew was the reason that I think that the work quality wasn't up to what I would have normally expected. If I were to use Hostetter again, I would just get in the regular painting schedule queue and not try to get them to speed up getting the job done. All in all, I was very impressed on how well everything went. Jeff coordinated with another contractor working on the bedroom being painted and he quickly responded to my questions understanding that I was managing this job from the west coast.

Mike Young estimator was personable, prompt, matched competitors bid for job. He checked back if work was completed properly. Toni Goff construction work was prompt, courteous,, left work very clean.

After painting the house we hired this company to install some new windows. Gave me an estimate we thought was very reasonable. Had some problems along the way but Jeff took care of all problems and unlike most companies did not ask for the final payment until we were completely satisfied. This company does great work and we would hire them again.

Ken Patterson came and gave us an estimate. Was not able to start the painting until we had some windows replaced. Finally had to go ahead and paint. Painters did a great job of painting. We had a few problems with understanding the painters and them using our bathroom. But this was quickly taken care of by Jeff. House looks great! After painting Ken and Jeff came to do a walk around. I talked to them about my windows and they told me they could put windows in for me. Jeff sent someone out to give me an estimate. We hired them to put in the windows.

It was excellent all of the way around. We got ten estimates, and they were by far the best. They went above and beyond on everything. They were great.

They did a great job and did it just before the cold weather set in. Jeff even did a front door and patch job while there for the same price. I will definitely call them back.

The windows are great and the installation was largely flawless. One minor complaint I have is that during the installation of the bathroom window they knocked some paint and a little bit of wood off of the wood siding on our home and it took them several weeks to get back out and repair it (we didn't notice it and paid in full before we reported it). They claimed that they needed to have a certain temperature and dry days to get the paint on, but many days which were both warm enough and dry enough went by before the day they finally did the painting. To give a positive thing equal time, we had a small crack in one of the windows and they ordered new glass and had a repair guy out within a week to fix it, he also did good work.

Salesman Mike Young directed the crew which did a quality job. The work was scheduled & finished in a timely matter. The input from Mike helped solve past roofing problems.

The crew was fantastic. The job only took 3 days and the siding looks great.

As a church we want to have no debris or mess on Sunday. JD and Company manger Mike Young came and finished and cleaned all on Saturday. We have no leaks and a beautiful roof! Recommend without reservation.

The job was complete in just under 4 days under some extreme heat back in the first part of August. The crew never waivered and the follow up was extremely good. If there were any areas in question, they listened to our concerns and took care of the issues including some areas that we asked to have re-caulked. The other positive is that if they did not hesitate to come back out to touch up a few minor areas that we noticed after the crew had gone on to their next job. The crew was very courteous and polite and kept everything picked up around the house at the end of the day.

Work was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. The contractor explained all. They had excellent communication. The roof and gutters look great. This contractor is sincere and has a very good eye for detail. They had very good follow-up and follow through.

They didn't need me there to do the estimate, which was great since I am very busy. A package was mailed to me with a detailed estimate and extensive information about the company. I've checked their reports & for the most part they seem to live up to the hype. Their salespeople have been very communicative & professional, and I am very impressed. I have decided to hire them to perform the work in the spring & am looking forward to the results!

I contacted this highly-rated company through Angie's List and received a call shortly thereafter. Their representative, Michael Young, came out to discuss the job with me and answer any questions I had. I was very impressed, particularly considering my previous experience with contractors. He was prompt, professional, and provided a thorough estimate within a couple of days. He has been very patient while I sorted out questions concerning time frame, financing and various other choices associated with the project. They have been very flexible and I have decided to have them do the work in the spring. I truly cannot say enough about how positive my experience has been thus far with Mr. Young and J D Hostetter. I'm looking forward to seeing this project through and feel confident in my choice to go with this company.

Our experience with JD Hostetter was excellent. The company provided a written estimate within two days. Jeff returned on a Saturday to review the estimate and discuss the details. The crew performing the work was obviously experienced and skilled. The siding and trim look great. While tearing off the siding, some rotted fascia and decking were discovered. Contractor tore out the rotted materials and installed new for a fair price.

Mike Young, the project manager was professional, courteous and honest in his dealings with us. Any problems that arose, he responded and corrected them as quickly as possible.

They were prompt and worked quickly and neatly. The job was very good. They cleaned up well also. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. In fact, I am considering hiring them to do some interior painting this winter.
