I did not realize that my furnace required a custom made filter ! So, when trying to install a new standard filter needless to say it did not go well . The new filter became and quot;lostand quot; somehow in the furnace. I called Irish air and they were great. Very friendly and more than helpful on the phone. A technician came out right away . found the lost filter and explained how and where I could purchase the correct filter. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. I also purchased a service agreement with them. All in all the experience was good.

I decided to call every authorized Carrier dealer that were local. This was the only company that didn't try to price gauge me. He gave me the best price. The system, I found out later, is close to around 10000 retail, which is way out of our price rang. It's a 3 ton two stage heat pump, and a 3 ton variable speed air handler. The thermostat is computerized and very good at communicating with the outside units. According to the weather, the equipment works to make sure everything is energy efficient. Irish installed this, and the owner came out and stayed during the installation. We had a second company come out to get a second opinion to make sure everything was installed correctly which it was. Wholesale I've heard this unit is around $5000 for a company, which means he barely charged me for labor! His price was the best and I appreciate his honesty. They didn't charge me to improve the air flow in our home. I'm glad they let us take advantage of this beautiful system and how much they helped my mother and I in keeping the costs as low as possible for the best product out there! I cannot state how much I recommend you call this company. They went above and beyond to service us and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. They even added an extra 9 years on the warranty at cost. This extra warranty was to cost us $600 when we had been quoted from other companies for over $1000. Most of this cost was reduced as well due to a rebate he was able to get from Carrier, and he paid the rest out of pocket and said it was a gift. We didn't even have to pay for the extra warranty. He also installed a damper and extra register in the kitchen. He enlarged a vent upstairs and also installed a high efficiency air filter for free! This is the bottom line. He was protecting our interests and took advantage of all the deals out there from Carrier for us. So many companies take advantage of senior citizens, but I am so grateful for how he treated my mother. He was done with all of this servicing and work by July 31st.

Only 2 months after moving into our recently purchased home, we discovered the AC coil had been leaking for quite some time and rotted out the flooring in our utility closet which houses the furnace, AC, water softener, and water heater. Panicked, we called Irish Air and had them come out for an estimate. Irish Air informed us they had a crew who could come and do ALL the repair work we needed within 1-2 days. The price we were quoted for everything was $6,500. A few days later Irish Air sent out a crew led by Todd Pelfrey to complete the job. Todd and his crew worked from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. to get the job done. They had to remove everything in the utility closet, tear out the rotten floor, take care of some somewhat minor mold issues, lay down new subfloor, apply linoleum sticky tiles to the subfloor, install a new AC unit and coil, then reset all the original equipment located in the closet. They even did a few extras at my request for no additional charge. All this work was done to a high standard and left me feeling very happy with the situation (except for with the home inspector who missed the issue 2 months prior to its discovery). I was a little worried at a few points during the day that the crew wouldn't get the job done before going home, which would have left us with no AC and no water. But, they worked a solid 12 hours to get us up and running. There were a few things that needed tweaking when they were done, but they assured me they'd come back to do them at my earliest convenience. We had them back out a few days later and they made whatever adjustments needed to be made. Everything works really well and I am extremely pleased with the service Irish Air provided. All the people from Irish Air who were at my house during the 12 hour repair were extremely courteous and seemed genuinely concerned that I get the highest possible level of service. Our final invoice was for exactly what we had been quoted and not a penny more! My wife and I would absolutely recommend Irish Air to anyone who requires HVAC services.

Per Jim I am possibly looking at replacing the blower later today. But I was so impressed by Jim's honesty, professionalism, and willingness to allow me to watch and learn what he was doing. I always research everything online so often times I can repair myself. (this one I can not) He did not charge me yet so I will update later after the next technician finishes. But the price he gave me for what he was going to do appeared to be very reasonable for that repair.

Service was prompt and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use Irish Air again.

Jim contacted me about installing a new heat pump and air handler. He was very honest and knowledgeable. In regards to the price, he was well below all of the other companies first estimates- as much as $4,000 less. For two companies, when I told them how much Jim was charging, they knocked off quite a large chunk but were still higher than Irish Air. Jim actually told me that he loses some customers because of his low price; they believe he's not competent or the product is defective. They came when they were supposed to, they completed the job on time, and Jim came back a few days later to go through a second inspection. I am very pleased with Irish Air from start to finish.

I have used Irish Air several times and have always found Jim honest,straight forward and responsive. I have two homes in which he has made repairs and both homes he diagnosed and fixed the problems very quickly and at a fair price. I believe he is honest and will do everything he can to make sure he charges a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them.

I called Irish Air after they were recommended to me by a neighbor. I had already received quotes form 2 other companies. Jim the owner came out, inspected the equipment and did the quote himself- no sales person-no fluff-just honest evaluation of the equipment. Irish was $1600 less than the highest estimate and offered the same warranties. They also informed me of the rebates available through Citizens gas that the others did not mention-all that was discussed was the energy rebate from the govt.by the others. Work was completed as promised, the equipment is working great. I look forward to the energy savings with this 95% efficient furnace. I will use them when I am ready to replace my a/c. Nice people, professional and a family owned business-I highly recommend.

Initial job done very poorly. Old furnace ducts left in attic. Condensate line didn;t have proper slope. Pan filled (no overflow protection measures employed). AC unit sitting in pan full of water for 2-3 months. None of the piping or gas lines were adequately bracketed. Water overflowed and stained master bedroom ceiling, the only reason reason I knew their was a problem. Owner contacted. He came and inspected the work done by his crew and stated his willingness to rectify everything. He even gave me a brand new unit, even tho it was only a few months old, because it had been sitting in water. The crew came and did an excellent job at doing the entire reinstall and removed old ductwork. Owner also stated he will pay for repairing ceiling, although that work has not been done yet.

I have used Irish Air for several years. They are excellent at what they do. They explain what service they are performing in great detail and let you know what is going on with your heating and cooling system. Jim is always very friendly and knows exactly what needs to be done. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Heating and Cooling company

They were very professional and did the work when they said they would. Their price was fairly competitive, but it is an expensive service to have done. It is a very good unit and I have not had any problems.

A/C went out on a Sunday. Called and they offered to come out on Sunday but said we could wait until Monday morning. Called by 8:00am and came right way. Needed a new blower motor - it had 'fried'. They replaced it and the A/C was back on by 10:00am.

It was wonderful! I will definitely refer Irish Air to everyone! They really care about their customers and look out for their best interest.

Fantastic service and most importantly honest!

The person who came out was Jim, he was one of the owners, and he was extremely good. He was out as soon as I called him, he diagnosed the problem quickly, his prices were exceptional, and his service was really good, he was great. I would definitely recommend them. His prices were great, I priced him against another good company, and he was probably half their price. His punctuality was also excellent, he was out the same day, and he had the new system in place for me by the next day.

I was impressed by them. The one guy that kept coming out here was very knowledgeable. We were having problems with our service and they came out immediately to take a look at it. They said the furnace wasn't broken at all, it just needed a new filter but that part of it was very old and would need to be replaced some day. Another company came out and told me the furnace was broken and I needed a new one. This guy got it running and said it was fixed now but it would need more work or it would have to be replaced so we just had him replace it. They came out the next day and put the furnace in. It was cheaper than I thought it would be.

We always call upon Irish Air for all our heating and air issues. With rentals and our own home we have needed their services plenty of times. They are always on time, friendly, professional, and they know what they are doing. I trust them for all my heating and air needs. We recommend them to everyone.

It went great. Jim showed up as promised, introduced himself, and put on his "house shoes" on and immediately went to work.

Given their excellent service record, I called Irish Air and received an estimate for a new heat pump. Also, I received quotes from two other nationally, recognized heating and air-conditioning chains. When I received the quotes, Irish Air was several hundred dollars lower than the large, national chains. When the Sale Representative from Irish Air came to my home, he explained how I could buy a and quot;dual systemand quot; (i.e.,high-efficient heat pump and back-up 95% efficient gas furnace -as my back-up source of heat). The representative explained the cost savings I could realize by replacing my 12 year old, 80% (inefficient) gas furnace and install a high-efficient (14 SEER) heat pump. The cost savings would be realized in three ways: (1) lower initial cost of equipment, (2) lower gas/heating bills, and (3) tax savings on my electric bill. Additionally, I could save some tax dollars on my taxes for up-grading my heating and cooling system. As a result of purchasing a new heating and cooling system (high-efficiency units), I have been able to realize a huge difference in my yearly gas bill and electric bill. Essentially, we saved approximately $600.00 on our gas bill; and, $550.00 on our electric bill for the past year. What a savings! In 4.8 years, the cost of the new system would pay for itself -- at the current savings rate! Calling Irish Air was the best decision we made in securing the best heating and cooling company in Indianapolis.

The company that installed the humidifier and maintained it for the past 2 years first said that the reason that the humidity in the house did not reach desired levels was that the duct work in the house needed to be removed and replaced at an estimated cost of $9000. We did not have that work done. Then a year later they said that the humidifier was just not big enough for the house and that we needed a bigger one at a cost of $1500. We did not have that work done, either. Irish Air came in and diagnosed 2 problems. First, that our humidifier had stopped working completely because of mineral build-up. Second, that it had not been programmed properly in the first place. They replaced it with the same size unit and programmed it correctly. It now works fine. Irish Air spent a considerable amount of time diagnosing the problem before making a recommendation and we were very impressed with their professionalism. We will continue to use Irish Air for our heating and cooling needs.

The date for installation was set up with my husband who was home when the installation took place. Several decisions had to be made and my husband found the installers knowledgable and easy to work with. After a year we are very happy with the new product. One service call was necessary and the call was prompt and the call was scheduled at a convenient time for us.
